Steph and Mark return from the bedroom as Mark puts his shirt back on, having clearly just 'taken things to the next level'. As they start to get intimate again, Tyler walks in on them.

TYLER: Guess this means you guys are on?
STEPH: We were... we were just...
TYLER: Don't worry, I get it. No one likes a label so soon after hooking up! Or a label at all, in your case.
STEPH: Huh?
TYLER: Not that you can't switch teams. I'm gonna go...

Steph looks very uncomfortable and tells Mark that they'll speak later.

No. 26
Amy stresses to Nene about Kyle getting fired up over Georgia, and can't understand why he's so concerned. Nene reminds Amy that Kyle is with her now.

AMY: She has no right to ask for him back. I mean they're married, but she gave him up.
NENE: She sounds like a real piece of work.
AMY: I would've never got together with him if I knew this was going to happen. I would have never put myself in this position!

Nene comforts Amy and tells her that what Kyle has done is as good as a betrayal. She asks her if she can really trust him, which pushes Amy to tears. Nene apologises for being a cynical old woman, but Amy is still left confused as to what Kyle wants.

No. 28
Doug has confessed to Karl and Susan that he's having a problem with Nene. He explains that he didn't want to cause a fuss, but Nene told him that she was Pam, yet he was feeling perfectly fine and is convinced it wasn't an episode. Karl and Susan are both very concerned, and suggest Doug comes to lunch with them.

Lassiter's Hotel - Reception
Tyler drops in to speak with Daniel, who's rushed off his feet as the hot water isn't working and there's a big group staying. Daniel confronts him about coming onto Imogen, and Tyler explains that it was just a ploy to get her to speak to Daniel - and clearly it worked.

DANIEL: How long has this been going on behind my back? We're roommates, we're supposed to be friends!
TYLER: It wasn't my place to say your girlfriend had a crush on me.
DANIEL: Oh, but it was your place to proposition my girlfriend to sleep with you?

Daniel asks Tyler if he'd have gone through with it if Imogen had said yes, but Tyler is adamant that it wouldn't have happened.

DANIEL: You know what, don't worry about it. Imogen is all yours, and you know what? I'm moving out.

Amy presses Steph for details about her relationship with Mark, and Steph admits that Tyler's remark about her 'switching teams' made her feel really uncomfortable. Steph admits that it's probably because of how recent her relationship with Belinda was, and she's unsure if she wants to jump into another relationship so soon. Amy advises Steph to speak to Mark.

Harold's Café
Mark stops by for a coffee, and Paige mentions that she saw him hanging out with Steph and Charlie. Paige bitterly remarks that it's funny how he dumped her for breaking the law, but now he's with Steph. Paige insinuates that Steph is only hanging around him because she wants to look good in order to get her son back, but Mark doesn't respond and takes his coffee to go.

No. 22
Imogen asks Piper what the difference between a "break" and "break up" is, and gets herself wound up about the definitions of both. Piper advises her that it's a way of saying she's allowed to get with other people, before getting back with him.

PIPER: Imogen, you should be happy, he's given you a Rumspringa!
IMOGEN: What's a Rumspringa?
PIPER: You know, like the Amish! When they turn 16, they get to go out and be wild, and then they can decide if they want to come back into the community or not.
IMOGEN: No, I don't want a Rumspringa, I want Daniel! And I have completely stuffed things up, all because of stupid Tyler, and his stupid good looks!

Dial - a - Kyle
Nene drops by the office, but can't find Kyle. She notices his computer unattended, and goes through his inbox to find emails from Georgia. As she begins to shake her head at what she's found, Kyle walks in and springs her in the act!

After the commercial break, Kyle confronts Amy outside the office. He accuses her of sending Nene to search his computer, but Amy promises that she came to speak to Kyle, not to spy on him. Nene admits that she may have had a glance at the computer, and Amy jumps to her defence.

KYLE: You're on her side?
AMY: She's just trying to protect me!
KYLE: Where I'm from, it's called snooping. Must run in the family.
AMY: I apologised and owned up for reading that letter. It would be really nice if instead of you taking your anger out on my mum, you just, I don't know, sorted it out with me!
KYLE: I'm not even angry at her! You shouldn't have got her involved in the first place!

Kyle and Amy descend into shouting at one another, and Nene looks incredibly uncomfortable. Amy takes her arm and leads her away, leaving Kyle looking furious.

Harold's Café
Sheila puts up a poster advertising herself for the Citizen of the Year Awards, which proclaims her as "the one, the only, Cranky Granny"! She asks what's up with Paige, and starts stirring the pot in regards to Mark and Steph, calling Steph 'ancient'! Paige is reminded that him and Steph have a lot in common, and Sheila says she was a fool to let him go.

No. 24
Steph returns to talk with Mark, and starts apologising about not being up front about Belinda. Mark jumps in and said that Belinda doesn't bother him, but instead he was concerned about Paige's comments about her using him to get Charlie back. They agree that Paige is probably bitter, and decide to keep things platonic until Steph sorts out her life and Mark can sort his feelings out towards Paige.

Lassiter's Complex
Susan, Karl and Doug are having lunch, and Karl gleefully boasts about the amount of online support he's receiving for Citizen of the Year. Doug reminds them both that he's backing Brad for his outreach programme. Kyle exits Harold's and drops his pastry! Doug offers to get him another, and they end up talking about Nene snooping on his computer. Doug mentions that he saw Nene on Karl's laptop as well, and Susan and Karl exchange very worried looks.

Harold's Café
Tyler tries to justify the situation with Imogen to Piper, and claims he's cursed with women. He tells Piper that he likes them hanging out together, and she reminds him that she's moved on with her ex. Tyler says he's glad that she's happy.

Karl checks his laptop, and Susan spots the email that Nene to Daryl Jones. They both realise that the person Karl spoke to on the phone may not have been him, and Susan urges Karl to phone him.

No. 24
Mark and Steph talk about costume parties and Steph suggests he dresses as a handsome cop and handcuff her.

The Waterhole
Paige is playing pool and tells Tyler that he isn't cursed, and reminds him that he turned down Piper. He laments that all of his relationships may have just been distractions, but Paige gets distracted as Mark and Steph walk in to play darts. She purposefully gets close to Tyler to irritate Mark who's spotted her, but Tyler quickly realises what Paige iss up to and leaves.

No. 26
In the kitchen, Amy tells Nene she shouldn't have spied on her behalf. They're interrupted by Karl, Susan and Kyle who confront Nene as Karl tells her that they've found out about her work history. Nene tries to stop Karl by saying that she told him about the incident in confidence, but he reveals that she was never covering for a doctor, and that the mistake was her own fault.

NENE: I'm a good nurse!
SUSAN: A good nurse doesn't deliberately confuse someone with dementia.
KARL: I spoke to other colleagues of yours at other hospitals.
NENE: You had no right!
KARL: They confirmed that your work hasn't always been up to scratch. You've been asked to leave on more than one occasion.
AMY: Mum, were you?
NENE: (breaking down in tears) Yes. Yes it's true.

Nene runs out of the room in tears, and everyone looks at one another awkwardly.

The Waterhole
Tyler tells Daniel he's overreacted, but Daniel says he should put himself in his shoes. Sheila stirs more trouble by telling Paige that Mark looks at Steph the same way he used to look at Naomi.

Later, Paige is sat at the bar glaring at Mark and Steph, so Steph goes over to talk to her.

STEPH: Hey, I know this must be really awkward, but if it makes you feel any better there's nothing going on between Mark and I.
PAIGE: Yeah right.
STEPH: Why don't you come sit with us? Come on, I'd really like us to be friends.
PAIGE: So you're after instant friends as well as an instant family?
STEPH: What is your problem? Correct me if I'm wrong, but you're the one that derailed the relationship Paige. You need to move on!
PAIGE: So you can move in on him? (to Mark) You know you're being taken for a ride by a total desperado over here!
STEPH: Hey! Watch your mouth.
PAIGE: Watch your mouth!

Paige stands up and shoves Steph, who gives her a big shove back. They rapidly break down into a full on cat-fight, causing Sheila to toddle from behind the bar and spray them down with a soda bottle!

MARK: I'll get you a towel.
STEPH: No, forget it! I'm going home!
