Kyle and Amy are impressed that Paul has got an investor so quickly. Kyle wants to know if it's above board. Amy reassures him that she and Paul have discussed it and Paul confirms he won't risk losing Amy. After Paul leaves, Amy says she thinks he's changed.
Hospital - Toadie's room
Toadie is excited at the return of feeling in his toe. Karl counsels him that it is early days, and it's going to mean a lot of physio.
TOADIE: I'm gonna spend so much time there that they're gonna name a treadmill after me.
Steph wheels him out just a Sonya arrives. They see Belinda at the nurses' station, and Steph says Belinda has her disciplinary hearing. Belinda passes, but says she has no time to talk.
No 32 garden
Lou assures Lauren that he will look after Amber in QLD. Daniel arrives to wish Amber luck, and to say he's proud of her.
AMBER: You taught me that it's important to have something to believe in.
DANIEL: It's nice to be reminded of that.
They hug and Amber walks Daniel out, while Lou tells Lauren how Stanley's wife (Rochelle) has been texting him, wanting to see him. Lauren reckons it's just talk... but then Rochelle turns up.
ROCHELLE: You weren't answering my texts. I wasn't sure if you were still alive. But you are, and as handsome as ever!
She kisses him. Lou looks horrified, while Amber and Lauren are amused.
Hospital reception
Belinda tells Sonya that it wasn't Toadie who reported her:it was going for the job in Erinsborough that raised the alarm. Now, she has decided to take responsibility for what she has done. Sonya suggests she speak to Steph, but Belinda says she's too embaraased.
BELINDA: I've been making some really bad decisions lately to be close to her.
SONYA: Look, when it comes to the people you love, you're driven more by emotion that you are by common sense.
Belinda explains that even if she loses her job, she's got experience in different kinds of nursing, so she can get another job.
Ramsay Street
Daniel asks Paul if he was talking to Dimato about the gazebo business. He says he's worried about Amy or him getting hurt.
PAUL: I can handle being betrayed by a criminal. What I can't stomach is being betrayed by my own family.
Daniel says he was trying to make Paul face the consequences of his actions, and show him the "real" Paul. But Paul tells him he's nothing but a failure.
PAUL: You are a non-contributing zero, Daniel, a non-contributing zero! So why don't you go and sit on a mountain and hug some trees. Because as far as I'm concerned, you are no longer my nephew.
Dial a Kyle
Karl and Susan see Kyle and Amy at work, and Susan tells Karl that she said no when Paul asked her to invest.
KARL: If anyone knows anything about making money, it's Paul.
SUSAN: But he's also lost quite a bit recently.
Karl points out that he rescued the bar. They walk away, bickering over whether to invest.

Rochelle says that she and Stanley were together for 32 years, but it's a wasted to be in a marriage with no spark, no passion. She remembers the night she met Lou.
ROCHELLE: I went home that night and thought, "That's it, he's the one. My OTP."
LOU: OTP?
ROCHELLE: My One True Pairing. The Romeo to my Juliet. The Mark Anthony to my Cleopatra.
LOU: Mark Anthony? I've always fancied myself as a bit of a Mark Anthony.
ROCHELLE: And I'm your Egyptian Queen.
Lou reminds her that those were tragic stories, and tragically, he's leaving for Brisbane. She thinks it's romantic: the two of them in the sticky heat, just like Cambodia.
Dial a Kyle
Amy asks Paul whether they should get Daniel involved. Paul says they don't need him. Amy says it's a family business and Daniel is at a loose end. Paul says no, then asks Amy if she still trusts him. She says she does. Karl turns up, saying he wants to invest. Amy is delighted to have him on board.
Harold's
Lou bemoans the fact that Rochelle wants a serious relationship. Susan suggests he might have exaggerated his feelings for her.
SUSAN: Unfortunately you've made your bed; you're gonna have to lie in it. With Rochelle.
He wonders how to get rid of her. Then he sees Sheila and he has a proposition.
Josh and Lauren talk about the possibility of his moving to Brisbane with Amber. Lauren says that he could live nearby: lots of people co-parent nowadays. She tells him to talk to Amber.
Dial a Kyle
Daniel arrives to tell Amy that he's leaving for a while to clear his head. She tells him they have two investors: Karl, and a mystery investor. Karl wishes him luck and leaves. Amy asks Daniel if he thinks she's crazy and he tells her to trust her instincts.
Hospital reception
Steph is horrified that Belinda has told the hospital about their relationship before talking to her. Belinda says she wants a fresh start.
BELINDA: I'm still in love with you and I don't wanna lose you over all this.
STEPH: I can't...
Steph says she still loves Belinda but she broke her trust. She can't be in a relationship with anyone - it's part of her recovery.
Hospital - Toadie's room
Steph and Toadie hold hands as she tells him that she could see Belinda was genuine, but she's made the right decision. Sonya arrives, and Toadie comments that Sonya knows how to mend broken hearts.
No 32 garden
Lou and Sheila are sitting in dressing gowns by the pool. Rochelle arrives and Sheila slaps Lou for having another woman.
ROCHELLE: Oh please, I'm not an idiot. This is obviously a set-up.
LOU: What do you mean?
ROCHELLE: Well, do you honestly expect me to believe that you're in love with this woman?
SHEILA: The name's Sheila. And I'll have you know that men fall for me like that. (Clicks fingers) I am so totally a catch.
ROCHELLE: If you're into old boots.
SHEILA: Oh go and choke on a satay stick.
LOU: Ladies, ladies, there's no need to fight. I know I'm irrestible, but there is enough to go around.
SHEILA: articularly if we're talking about your waistline.
ROCHELLE: Oh, and I've seen it firsthand.
LOU: Don't be nasty. There's more mutton than lamb in this yard but you don't find me complaining.
Lou whispers to Sheila to get back to the plan. However, Rochelle says he'd be lucky to have someone like Sheila, and she slaps him and leave. Lou is pleased that the plan has worked. Sheila tells him to make sure she gets her money, and she also slaps him.
No 28
Paul and Karl are signing the contracts for Karl's investment. Karl asks about Daniel, but Paul fobs him off, saying Daniel can do what he wants. Susan arrives home, saying she hopes it's not what it looks like.
KARL: It depends what it looks like. Does it look like your husband making a shrewd financial investment?
Karl points out how he's turned Off Air around, and that he's working with Paul. He asks her to trust him, and she agrees he's earned it. Paul meanwhile gets a text from Dimato, saying he's looking forward to working with him.
Hospital
Sonya meets Belinda, who says she's been suspended. However, all she can think about is Steph. Sonya says that maybe a break is for the best. Belinda asks if she'll be saying the same when she loses Toadie.
BELINDA: Steph's in love with your husband. It all makes sense. Her insistence on coming back to Erinsborough. It's not about Charlie: it's about Toadie. She's fallen for him. I know it.
No 22
Josh tells Amber he's worried that his difficulties connecting with Matilda will get worse after Amber leaves. She tells him it's a big step, but he says it's one he wants to make. She says she'd like him to accompany her and Matilda. They hug, then he kisses her. She's horrified and asks what he's doing.
