Toadie is making a meal for the Turners when Josh drops by to ask if he'd take part in his college assignment to measure his body fat. Josh manages to convince him by saying that hell be pitted up against the neighbours, and has a chance of beating Karl!
Harold's
Daniel tells Imogen what happened between him and Bailey. She stops him to say that they shouldnt see each other anymore as Paige warned her away and that Daniel should be helping Amber instead. Daniel presses her to explain whats really going on.
IMOGEN: I'm just finding it really hard to be around Amber and her family. I want to go over there so badly, but every time I think about it I get all hot and light headed, and I get this lump in my throat and I can't... I don't even know what to say. How stupid does that sound!?
DANIEL: No, not at all!
IMOGEN: If I say something nice about Matt it might sound like I'm being flippant, and if I'm overly sympathetic it might make things worse for her. I've never lost anyone close to me; I can't even imagine how bad she feels. So instead of going over there I just make excuses as to why I can't!
Daniel reassures her that just being with Amber is what's important, not what she says or does.

Karl is having his body fat measured by Josh, and Susan tells him not to be a sookie lala for complaining about it hurting! Susan and Toadie consult the health chart and see that she is in perfect shape, whilst Toadie qualifies as 'average'. Josh finishes by measuring Karls love handles, which he gets a little too much pleasure out of! He discovers that he qualifies as 'below average', to his horror and Toadies delight.
KARL: That's another way of saying fat!
SUSAN: Well youve put on a bit, it's not the end of the world.
KARL: 115? I'm HUGE!

Lauren invites Bailey to help her clean up Matt's memorial when Amber returns, but he declines. She presses him on his attitude and says that she's worried that he's not coping well. After he explains that he wants people to leave him alone, she turns to confront him.
LAUREN: Did you do it? Did you destroy your father's memorial?
BAILEY: That's pretty messed up mum.
LAUREN: That doesnt answer my question.
BAILEY: Okay, well why would I?
LAUREN: Because people deal with grief in different ways. Some people curl up into a little ball, some people throw themselves into work, and some people get so angry because the person they love has been taken from them. I don't blame you if you've done it, I understand. Darling, your whole world has been torn apart -
BAILEY: SHUT UP! YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT.
Bailey storms out and leaves Lauren looking shell-shocked.
Harold's Kitchen
Amber is arranging flowers for the memorial and tells Daniel that she can't understand why Imogen is acting so distant. Daniel recounts what Imogen told him earlier and reassures Amber that she'll reach out to her when she's ready.

Lou and Karl are caught doing floor exercises by Josh, and Karl explains that he wants to be measured again in case an error was made but this time to be measured on his "good side". Later, Karl is disappointed to find out that the calculations came out the same, so enlists Josh to create him a fitness programme. He gets Lou involved as well, and Josh suggests the most efficient exercise would be bike riding.
Roadside
Bailey watches over as the rest of the Turners rearrange the trashed memorial. He joins them and hugs Lauren.
Lassiter's Lake
Over a musical montage, Amber sits alone by the lake and Imogen approaches looking reluctant, before she eventually reaches out and embraces Amber as she bursts into tears.

Susan returns to find Karl repairing a bike and wearing a Lycra outfit, which she is quick to criticise, calling him a MAMIL (Middle Aged Man In Lycra). Susan gets more of a fright when Toadie appears at the door sporting a similar outfit, swiftly followed by Lou wearing the same!
Lassiter's Complex
Imogen tells Daniel that she spoke to Amber and that her fears were unjustified. She invites him to sit with her on the bench, and he playfully rolls over the back of it. Paige observes from afar and looks concerned.
Harolds
The three men in Lycra tuck into dessert as a reward for their first bike ride together, which they all seem to have enjoyed.
No. 28
That night, the MAMILs surround a map as Karl proposes another cycle ride with a specially made bike on a stick to indicate their route. Toadie marks out a patisserie they could stop at, whilst Susan jokingly warns that their work will be in vain if they keep filling up on fatty treats! They agree to meet at 06:30 the next day to reach the patisserie by opening. Toadie and Lou leave, and Susan tells Karl he can stop sucking in his stomach!

The portrait of Matt Turner watches down as Bailey sits alone on the sofa. Lauren approaches and Bailey apologises for his outburst.
LAUREN: Do you want to tell me why you did it?
BAILEY: Because there shouldn't be a memorial mum, because he shouldn't be dead. He should be here with us.
LAUREN: Yeah, yeah he should.
BAILEY: It was a stupid accident; I mean if Danni had just been watching the road, if she wasn't texting on her phone, she wouldn't have hit him! He died for nothing mum!
LAUREN: Darling, don't say that. He died saving another mans life. He made the ultimate sacrifice. You should feel proud of him.
BAILEY: I am, I am proud of him mum. And I always will be, I wish I could just talk to him one last time.
LAUREN: There are things I wished I'd said too. We think we can wait, we think we can put them off until tomorrow, but we just...
BAILEY: Everything feels wrong without him.
Lauren tells Bailey that they have to stay strong, but he tells her all he wants to do is scream and shout at the world.
LAUREN: Better to stay angry than feel sad, is that it?
BAILEY: I just want my dad back.
Bailey falls into Laurens arms on the sofa as she holds him.
No. 32 Backyard
The next day, Paige is getting out of the pool and spots Imogen heading inside to see Amber. After Paige scolds her for taking her time to comfort Amber, Imogen asks if they can just get along but Paige confronts her after seeing her chatting to Daniel. Imogen heads inside leaving her phone on the table and she gets a text from Daniel. Paige reads their conversation - thanking each other for "unloading" and "getting it out of our systems" when Imogen returns outside and catches Paige.
PAIGE: Why are you still talking to Daniel?
IMOGEN: I don't need to justify myself to you!
PAIGE: I warned you to stay away from him!
IMOGEN: And I told you, we're just friends!
PAIGE: I know what you're doing, you're trying to build this special bond with him.
IMOGEN: Daniel and I experienced something together that no one else understands, I don't need to feel guilty for talking to him about it.
Imogen continues to deny any romantic intentions with Daniel but Paige isn't having any of it.
PAIGE: Amber is going through one of the toughest times in her life right now. And you're nowhere to be seen!
IMOGEN: I'm here now!
PAIGE: Now isn't good enough! Where were you yesterday, huh?! Oh right, you were with her fiancé. You actually make me sick. You're a skank, and you're a liar.
Paige dramatically pushes Imogen into the swimming pool.
