Concluding that Naomi and Paul are having an affair, Sheila begins to tear strips off her daughter, saying it's the worst thing she's ever done.
NAOMI: An affair? Oh, don't make me sick!
Paul chimes in that Sheila is being ridiculous, and Naomi tells Sheila that she spilt something on her dress, so had to change.
SHEILA: Oh yes, and what's his excuse? Don't answer, Casanova, because I've worked it out for myself. It's because she owes you money. Exactly! And don't tell me - the executive assistant position is a full service job, isn't it?
NAOMI: You cannot seriously believe that!
SHEILA: Have you no shame? You are in a relationship -
PAUL (shouting): Right, that's enough! You should be ashamed of yourself. Your daughter is one of the most loyal and hard-working people I know. And for you to march into my home and suggest otherwise is wrong. Now you know where the lift is, so go and press the button - because you are leaving. Now!
Naomi makes smug faces at Sheila from behind Paul.
SHEILA: This is not over. I know something's not right here.
Dimato's Hideout
Tyler is delivering one of the cars Michelle commissioned him to steal to Dimato himself. Tyler says he's working on tracking down the other cars on the list.
DIMATO: You'll come through for me. My boys never let me down.
TYLER: You can count on me.
At that moment, police sirens blare, and two patrol cars screech up to the hideout. Tyler runs to hide in the maze of shipping containers, while Dimato leaps into his own car. Mark gets out of one of the patrol cars, and looks triumphant as he approaches an annoyed Dimato. While Tyler evades the cops, Mark is questioning Dimato about the stolen car.
DIMATO: Never seen it before. Someone must have dumped it in the yard.
MARK: Yeah, yeah, sure they did. So your prints won't be all over it?
DIMATO: Probably. I looked for ID. To figure out who owns it.
MARK: Oh, drop the act. Where's your driver? The engine's still warm. He can't be far.
Dimato sticks to his story, so Mark orders his fellow constables to search the entire yard. The first thing Mark finds is a truck full of car registration plates, which he suspects are all from stolen cars - and he arrests Dimato on the spot.
Meanwhile, the other policemen are searching the shipping containers for the driver of the stolen car. To evade capture, Tyler leaps into a waste bin and hides under bags of rubbish. The police perform a cursory search of the area, but don't uncover him.
Harold's Store
Georgia is telling Toadie about her theory surrounding her suspension - namely, that Nick put the incriminating post on her profile to eliminate her, thereby protecting the identity of his mystery patient from her probing questions. Toadie thinks it could be a coincidence, and tells her not to spread her theory about, as it won't help with her disciplinary hearing. Georgia asks Toadie to represent her, in addition to her union rep, and he reluctantly agrees, saying he'll make a few calls. Nick suddenly comes in, and Georgia confirms who he is for Toadie's benefit.
GEORGIA: Every time I see him, I want to throw something at him.
But Toadie warns her not to antagonise him and thereby make things worse. Instead, he advises her to get character references who would attest to her respect for patient confidentiality. Georgia gets a text from Karl, freshly back from London, asking if she's free for a fundraising meeting. Toadie suggests she try Karl for a reference, but Georgia says Karl is pretty close to Nick. However, she says he may be able to help in another way...
The Waterhole
Naomi comes in and stands at the bar.
SHEILA: What?
NAOMI: I'm waiting.
SHEILA: You haven't ordered anything, have you?
NAOMI: For my apology.
Sheila retorts that she's not sorry for what she said, so to prove her story's (almost) true, Naomi shows Sheila the dry-cleaning receipt for her dress - and adds that Paul had an ear infection, so was about to go to bed, hence his own dressing gown.
SHEILA: Well why didn't you just say?
NAOMI: Because I didn't think I needed to mount a watertight defence to my own mother!
Sheila is still surprised, though, at how defensive Paul was of Naomi, and warns her that Paul may have ulterior motives for taking her on as his assistant.
SHEILA: When Paul decides he wants something, he usually gets it.
NAOMI: I can handle this, Mum, okay? Trust me!
She walks off, leaving Sheila vexed.
Dimato's Hideout
Tyler climbs out of the bin, but is forced to hide again quickly when a police patrol car drives past. Once it's gone, he sneaks away.

Georgia has taken her theory about Nick getting her suspended to Karl, who seems sceptical - but Georgia appeals to him to help her find out who Nick's mystery patient is, so they can learn what he's hiding. She asks Karl to talk to Nick; he insists it would be unethical to get involved at first, but grudgingly agrees when Georgia begs him.
Erinsborough Police Station
Mark is interrogating Dimato about the stolen car and his wider operation, saying they're going through his phone and computer records so he may as well fess up - but the crook remains silent. Mark says that if Dimato gives him the names of everyone who's involved with the operation, it'll work in his favour when it comes to court.
MARK: Take it one at a time. Let's start with who stole the car we found at the yard. Give me their name for starters.
DIMATO: ... I want my lawyer.
Harold's Store
Karl talks to Nick, as per Georgia's request, expressing surprise about her suspension and asking if Nick can shed any light on it. Nick is open about the accusations Georgia has been making against him, but dismisses them, saying people can behave dishonourably under pressure. Karl says he accepts Nick wasn't involved, but says Georgia's adamant she didn't write the post, and adds that she has always been dedicated, respectful and discreet when it comes to patients.
NICK: Quite honestly, I think we must be talking about a different person. Because even before this incident, I found her to be immature, overly emotional, and frankly lacking in almost every aspect of her work.
KARL: Is this because she sprung the bet you had with Paul over her?
NICK: I was just blowing off steam. And the fact that she can't understand that just serves to prove the point - she's a highly-strung drama queen. I know she's made complaints about doctors before, yourself included. In my opinion someone that self-absorbed, and frankly incompetent, has no place working in a hospital.
Karl leaves without a further word.
Erinsborough Police Station
While they're waiting for Dimato's lawyer to arrive, Mark sends his colleagues out of the room for a break - then tells Dimato of another piece of evidence he 'forgot to mention'.
MARK: I know you paid Matt to look the other way with those containers. I've even got a signed statement from him.
DIMATO: Using a dead man? Didn't know you had it in you, Mark.
MARK: I'll do whatever it takes.
DIMATO: Even if it means dragging a fellow cop's name through the mud? One that's not here to defend himself?
MARK: Matt wouldn't have let you get away with this.
DIMATO: What about his family? What will they think when you trash their last memories of him?
MARK: Don't you dare talk to me about Matt or his family! He was a decent, hard-working cop. You took advantage of him - you destroyed him.
DIMATO: I wasn't the one who ran him over.
MARK: That's the only thing you didn't do. But the rest? We'll get you on the rest.
Lassiter's Lake
Tyler is conspicuously trying to wash himself at a water tap near the lake. But it's evidently not working, as Naomi turns up with B2 and asks if Tyler's had a run-in with a dustbin, given the scent he's exuding!
NAOMI: You know, I think a shower might be a little more effective.
Naomi asks if Tyler's trying to avoid Mark, but he says it has nothing to do with him - so Naomi leaves him to carry on washing.

Karl is talking to Toadie about Georgia's suspension - he's worried that the hospital will make an example of Georgia in order to deter other staff from posting comments on social media about patients. Toadie says he's keen to take a closer look at Nick, and Karl admits that he seemed fairly vicious in his opinion of Georgia - but adds that that doesn't mean he's trying to destroy her career, and that Nick has an excellent reputation.
Pointing out that reputations can be manufactured, Toadie says he's already been shut down in his enquiries by Terese, who in his view thinks Nick can do no wrong. Toadie suggests Karl make contact with people at some of the hospitals Nick worked at in the UK, aside from Nick's own referees from when he took the post at Erinsborough, to find out if any of them are prepared to speak about Nick off-the-record.
KARL: That's crossing the line a bit.
TOADIE: Think of it as a more thorough reference check.
KARL: I suppose a few phone calls wouldn't hurt.
But he's worried about what he might find out.
Later on, Karl tells Toadie and Georgia what he's found out - Nick had been frontrunner to be head of a new cancer research centre in London. On paper, he was perfect for the role, Karl explains, so it's a mystery why he never got the job, and landed up in Erinsborough instead. All Karl knows is that Nick was very disappointed not to get the job, and told everyone as much. But no-one he spoke to would give Karl a solid reason as to why Nick wasn't given the position.
GEORGIA: Unless it was a personality clash. Something that can't be given as an official reason.
Toadie says it's not ideal that no-one in the UK will speak up, but that they can probably surmise Georgia's experience with Nick isn't a one-off - and suggests they run what they've learned past the hospital review committee, so it might at least create some doubt about Nick's version of events.
The Waterhole
Sheila is not-so-subtly trying to encourage Naomi to stay in the bar with Mark, rather than heading back to work with Paul. Once she's gone, Mark wonders why Sheila is making such a fuss, but Naomi says she's always like that. Changing the subject, Naomi mentions that Tyler was acting weirdly when she saw him before, and asks if Mark and Tyler have had another row.
Mark says he's just angry about Dimato and Matt, and admits that Naomi and Tyler have been on the receiving end of his bad mood. For her part, Naomi apologises for standing Mark up the other night - saying she knows her work for Paul has meant they haven't seen as much of each other lately. Naomi and Mark make their peace and get all mushy, much to a watching Sheila's pleasure.
Harold's Store
Toadie comes in to meet Georgia and Karl, having just been for a meeting with Georgia's bosses at the hospital. The bosses have conceded that there is reasonable doubt that Georgia posted the comment about the high-profile patient Janine Morgan - but they're unwilling to punish Nick without any solid evidence, and are still getting grief from Morgan herself over the debacle, who wants a head on a platter. So they're prepared to strike any mention of the affair from Georgia's record, only on the condition that she resign from the hospital!
Georgia is outraged at this, but Toadie says the hospital is just trying to avoid a lawsuit. Georgia says she'll prove her innocence, and proposes that they get the cops involved.
GEORGIA: Bring it on. I'm ready for it.
The Waterhole
Mark comes in, and buys Tyler a beer - then apologises for going off at him. Mark admits he's having a good day at work.
MARK: We got Dimato.
TYLER: Right. Right. And what about Joey and that lot? You going after them too?
Mark can't say, but asks whether Tyler is genuinely friendly with them. He insists not.
MARK: Well let's just say anyone involved in Dimato's ring won't be free for much longer.
Tyler looks nervous.
Suite 1 Eclipse Apartments
Naomi comes in as Paul is busy telling off B2 for misbehaving. He tells Naomi to call the dog pound, as he's had enough of B2, but Naomi insists the dog just needs training. Paul asks if Naomi sorted things out with Sheila; Naomi replies that her mum's 'a lost cause', but adds that she's got things back on track with Mark.
NAOMI: Not that you care, sorry.
PAUL: No, I do care. In fact, you know what? Take the rest of the day off like you were supposed to.
Naomi's reluctant to leave Paul on his own, but he encourages her to go and spend time with Mark. She agrees to go, on the condition that Paul won't send B2 to the dog pound - and he agrees. But as soon as Naomi's left, Paul has a sudden dizzy spell, and drops to the floor unconscious, while B2 whimpers.
