Previously
- Sheila flirts with Harold and Lou says to Harold: "she's all yours"
- Paul and Nick bet on whether he can bed Georgia
- Matt calls Michelle, saying Dimato can trust him
- Cousin Hilary turns up at the exhibition
Paul's penthouse apartment
Paul is peeved at Hilary, imagining that the headlines will say he that abandoned his "elderly relative". Daniel comes in and asks her if she has just arrived.
HILARY: No, no I've been here six months. And "Uncle P" hasn't rung me once.
Daniel says he would have visited. She believes him (but reminds him to call her "Aunt Hilary" not "Hil"). She takes her jacket off, but Paul insists she's not staying. She asks him how she's supposed to get home.
PAUL: Public transport!
She says the next bus is in three hours, and puts in an order for tea. Paul growls, while Daniel goes off to make it.
Factory car park
Matt tells Michelle that he appreciates the work, and asks if there's any more, as he needs the money. She says they appreciate his enthusiasm and she'll check the roster. He gets a text from Brennan, saying that the sergeant is looking for him.
Harold's
Harold and Lou are playing poker with jelly beans as betting chips. Sheila arrives with some pecan pie, which she pointedly says is for Harold - not Lou. She says there are free flu jabs at the Community Centre, and she wants to try Susan's raspberry slice, which is being given out.
SHEILA: She is plying her product to everyone who has a cakehole. She's such a suck-up. Fancy joining me?
HAROLD: Well, uh, a flu-shot sounds good...
Lou says they have to work, so Sheila says they can go without him. Lou gets Lauren and Bailey to cover for him. In the kitchen, Lauren nearly falls over Bailey's bag. Looking inside, she finds a bottle of wine.
Paul's penthouse apartment
Hilary is pleased that Daniel is getting married. Daniel invites her to the wedding and Paul groans. Daniel has to sort something out at the bar, so Paul offers to get Hilary a cab, but she refuses. Daniel tells Paul to get her something to eat. Paul tells her to help herself from the fridge, but she's already checked and there's nothing but alcohol.
Outside the community centre
Harold and Sheila are walking along, chatting with Lou following behind. Georgia is handing out forms to a queue of people. Nick stops to chat, then offers to help.
Paul's penthouse apartment
Paul is working and Hilary asks him if he's looking for more services to cut. He tells her if she's not satisfied, she should go back and live with her son. She says she fell out with her daughter-in-law so there was no point in staying. He says he doesn't get on with his children either, then adds that her being there is just a one-off.
Police Station
Matt comes in (late) and Mark tells him that the sergeant has been looking for him because people have complained he's behind with his paperwork. Lauren dashes in and tells Matt about the wine.
Harold's
Matt and Lauren ask Bailey about the wine, which was Lauren's cooking wine. They say they're not angry: they're worried about him.
BAILEY: We're in this situation because of me... and there's nothing I can do to change that.
Bailey leaves and Lauren says they have to get him a counsellor. Matt suggests Sonya, but Lauren says it's urgent. Matt says he heard of a scheme at work... he reaches for his wallet, but realises he left it at Dimato's.
Police Station
Paul is complaining to the sergeant about the traffic management report not being done. Hilary taps him on the shoulder and says she "missed" the bus. So unless Daniel's back soon, she'll have to stay the night. Paul refuses, and asks what it would take to get her off his back. She gives him a list, including reinstating the bus and subsidised meals. When he agrees, she promises to go quietly.
Community Centre
Lou has had an injection, and Harold goes next. Georgia offers them the last piece of cake, which Lou takes to Sheila's annoyance. Sheila decides to feel dizzy, and Harold is very attentive and offers her a jelly bean. Georgia rolls her eyes.
Police Station
When Matt returns, Mark asks where he's been, telling him that Paul had been on the phone. The sergeant is now furious and doesn't want to see Matt. Matt sighs.
Lassiter's complex
Nick explains to Georgia that he's very bad at first impressions but pretty good at second impressions. He offers to buy her a drink, and she agrees after some hesitation.
Harold's
Harold goes to get Sheila some water. Meanwhile Lou tells her to drop the act. When Harold returns, she offers to cook him dinner. Lou reminds him that they are busy with the festival stall, so Harold invites her along. When she's left to "freshen up", Lou asks why he did that. Harold says it's obvious that Lou likes her, which he denies vehemently.
LOU: If she was the last woman on earth, I would demand a recount.
Harold gets a phone call from...
Paul's penthouse apartment
...Paul, who begs him to get Hilary out of his flat. Harold comments on how it's like old times. He's impressed with Hilary's success.
HAROLD: It takes a very shrewd operator to get money out of Paul Robinson.
HILARY: Well, I'm a Robinson, so I know how he ticks.
Factory car park
Matt calls Michelle to say he needs to get into the security hut.
Waterhole
Nick is chatting to Georgia. He is trying to explain away his poor behaviour from when they first met.
GEORGIA: Being a good doctor is not an excuse for being a bad human being.
NICK: Ouch. Fair call.
He asks her if they can meet again so they can talk about fundraising. She says lots of people do fundraising, but he says he wants the best.
Lock ups
Matt sees Dimato, Michelle and a couple of his heavies. One of them uncovers a Ferrari that was under a tarpaulin. Dimato asks about the rest of the order, and she says they are having problems with a beemer. Matt puts in 000, but hesitates and doesn't call. He then approaches Dimato and says he hopes he's got papers for the car.
MATT: Otherwise things are about to get very loud and messy when I call this in.
Dimato says that Matt would already have called if he was going to, and he wouldn't be the first cop to look the other way. Besides, if the police investigated, they would shut the yard down.
DIMATO: Bye-bye second job, bye-bye mortgage payments. Hope that pretty wife of yours doesn't mind losing her home. Or... we pretend this conversation never happened, and maybe there's a little extra in your pay packed this week.
He asks Matt what it's going to be.
Unmissable drama
- Georgia challenges Nick on his "caring doctor routine". Nick says he has an ulterior motive.
- Erinsborough's biggest celebration ever
