Amber is in the pool, and Daniel come around to drop off a lens of hers. He tells Lauren about it, but she tells him to go and talk to Amber. Amber apologises for not being at the opening, saying she would love to come to the next drop- in event. After a bit of thought, Daniel says there is one that evening.
Imogen asks Paul if Daniel has any allergies: she wants to buy him a pillow because he's been sleeping in the bar. Naomi dashes up and accuses Paul of stealing her idea of the festival. He points out he thought of it first, but she's talking about how it would actually work:
NAOMI: How to turn a suburban cringefest into something that belongs on the international stage.
She reminds him that he'd said it wouldn't work, but he says the council have just approved it. She says she accepts the job of events manager! He says his staff came up with the ideas, but she insists that a good events manager is essential...
PAUL: There is no such thing as a "good" events manager. They're just glorified secretaries.
NAOMI: Oh! You are a small- minded man, Paul Robinson.
Georgia comes in with Sheila's treatment - antacid tablets.
SHEILA: I had a heart attack. I didn't eat too many burritos.
Kyle tells her it's good news, but she wants to stay overnight to be monitored. Georgia tells her to go home and get a good night's sleep in her own bed - because there are no doctors in this episode.
Daniel bounces in and asks Imogen if they can find any good speakers for tonight. She says they can find speakers, but she doesn't know about good ones. Besides there's no time to promote it, so what's the rush.
DANIEL: Amber's coming.
She agrees she's up for the challenge and Daniel hugs her.
Kyle and Sheila arrive home. Sheila is dejected, saying that her body let her down. She's had one heart attack. It's only a matter of time before she has another one.
Imogen is looking online for speakers, and tells Josh it's good experience. He points out she wants to be a lawyer, not a PA.
IMOGEN: He's not using me, or whatever you're implying.
JOSH: Well he's not appreciating you either.
Josh asks her if it's worth it, and if she really thinks she has a chance.
Nearby, Naomi tells Mark that Paul won't be able to put on the festival without her, and then he'll be kicking himself he didn't ask her. Mark says it's not her problem: Paul will just blame some lackey. She says she wants it to be her problem, because she's good at that sort of thing. Mark says she needs to work out a way of getting Paul to see it.
Georgia pops in to see Sheila. She suggests that Sheila should go and sit in the back yard for a while, adding that she can walk that far. Sheila tells her not to talk as if she was one of her patients.
GEORGIA: If I was talking to you like I talk to one of my patients, I would be telling you, not asking you, to get off your bum, and go and get some fresh air.
Paul tells Daniel that he has been inundated with calls from "Hoi Polloi Incorporated" about the Erinsborough Festival. He's not pleased, because that's what personal assistants are for. Daniel asks him what he's doing for his birthday tomorrow. He agrees to have lunch with Paul, if he comes to the drop- in event later. Daniel asks him to do a talk about something he's passionate about, but turns down the idea of interest rates.

Sheila is cleaning her gnomes when Kyle arrives with afternoon tea, healthy style.
KYLE: Sleepy's getting a good workout.
SHEILA: This one's Grumpy.
KYLE: Ah, he's not the only one.
Kyle tells Sheila he's going to Off Air, and she decides to go along.
Amber is clearing a table, and Josh invites her to see a film. She says she's going to Daniel's drop- in event at Off Air. Lauren comes over and asks if it was a date invitation since Josh had that "look" - and so does Daniel. Amber says all she wants is friendship. Lauren tells her to stick to her guns.
Paul challenges Naomi over deliveries of cutlery and calls he's had. She says she has had lots of enquiries about the festival - obviously people feel she's good at her job. He tells her to make it stop.
NAOMI: Oh, don't tell me you can't handle it Paul. You know, just the planning and organisation of a major cultural festival. I would have thought that's the work of some glorified secretary.
PAUL: Hmm. All right. Point taken.
NAOMI: So you admit you need an event manager.
PAUL: I do.
(Naomi is triumphant)
PAUL: Oh I'm... I'm sorry, did I give you the impression that that meant you?
Paul tells her he's going to go with someone he trusts.
Paul is giving a talk on leadership, and Sheila is heckling. He says the most important thing is to inspire your staff. She says the first rule is to listen. Paul says she has no experience, but she points out she runs a bar with half a dozen staff.
SHEILA: Rule number two is ask for feedback.
Paul agrees. He tells them about a PA who overslept and missed an important meeting. He bought her an alarm clock and fired her.
PAUL: That was the best feedback that she ever had.
After Paul leaves the stage and Sheila is cheered for her contribution, Daniel comes over and thanks her. Sheila offers to speak again. Imogen says they'll call her. Sheila thanks Georgia for her advice, then leaves to see Naomi. Amber arrives, and Daniel tells Imogen he's going to do a talk. She advises him to talk about something he's passionate about.
Naomi and Sheila are having some tea.
SHEILA: So kablammo, got him right where it hurts, in his ego.
They agree it serves Paul right after what he did to Gary. Naomi asks Sheila for advice as to how to win Paul over. Sheila tells Naomi that it's Paul's birthday and it will remind him that he can't buy love.
NAOMI: Oh yes, and he'll be all vulnerable like a little baby bird.
SHEILA: Yes, especially if you buy him a very thoughtful present.
NAOMI: Oh, you're good.
Imogen introduces Daniel, who is going to speak about communities. Josh arrives and goes to sit by Amber. Daniel starts to speak, while Josh chats to Amber. Daniel gets irritated and tells him to take it outside. Josh comments that he thought it was a bar not a classroom.
JOSH: I was just having a conversation.
DANIEL: Yeah, with a paying customer who didn't come here to be harassed.
JOSH: Was I harassing you ma'am?
AMBER: No- one was harassing anyone. Can you both please stop?
Josh won't leave, but Amber does. Then Josh wants to follow her and Daniel stops him. He tells Josh that he and Amber are going to work things out. Josh tells him he's clueless about everything.
JOSH: Imogen's in love with you and you're too think to even see it.
