Josh finds Amber sobbing and asks if he can help.

AMBER: Could you give me better friends?

She tells him what happened and their explanation that Daniel was comforting her and it was a one-off. Josh points out that they are friends: Imogen would never try to hurt her and Daniel. Amber tells him that Imogen told Daniel what Josh had said at Christmas. He's taken aback.

Off Air bar
Imogen apologises to Daniel. Daniel wonders if Amber broke up with him because of Josh. Imogen assures him that Amber loves him, not Josh. She apologises again and Daniel says it's OK.

Chris is about to go back to work again, and he's worried. Susan assures him that he's probably more prepared than he thinks he is. Nate reminds him that Brennan won't be judging him and Chris agrees he's been great. Susan encourages him again.

NATE: We're your number one fans. You can do this.
CHRIS: OK.

They kiss, and Chris leaves.

Paige and Bailey are playing slap hands, as he teases her about Bryson. Lauren hands Bailey a letter, which is from a solicitor regarding the Turner Family Trust. He asks what it is... Matt sighs. He says it's a mistake, and he and Lauren exchange worried glances as Bailey and Paige carry on playing in the background.

Harold's
Amber says she's been judged when she stuffed up, so she wants to hear what Imogen has to say. Imogen replies that she doesn't know how it happened. She was freaking out over Josh and her father, and Daniel was being nice...

AMBER: So you thought it was the perfect time to kiss my fiancé?
IMOGEN: It wasn't romantic in any way, and I know that that doesn't make it OK. I did something horrible and I would do anything to take it back.

She assures Amber that it was one-sided: Daniel didn't kiss her back. It was her being needy at the time. Amber accepts her apology, saying that people make mistakes.

Garage
Mark welcomes Chris back, and tells him to shout if he needs help. He's allocated a job on a car, which is not what he expected.

No 32
Matt has rung the solicitors, who told him that someone stuffed up. All correspondence was supposed to go to Kathy, but now letters have been sent to Bailey, Amber and Mason. Lauren says they can intercept Amber's, but not Mason's.

LAUREN: We're just going to have to go into damage control.
MATT: You mean we have to tell the kids they own the house.

Garage
Chris is struggling, and Mark tells him the car has to be ready by 4pm. Chris is upset because he can't cope with the work. Mark tells Chris to go and write the invoices, and Chris says at least he can't stuff that up.

Off Air
Amber comes in and tells Daniel that Imogen explained about the kiss. She says that Imogen also said that he's worried about Josh. He says he thought maybe that's why she broke up with him. She gets annoyed and says she doesn't want to go from one boyfriend to the next. Daniel says he's trying to understand what she does want.

AMBER: So am I. But I don't want Josh.

Waterhole
Josh comes in, and he and Imogen chat about Daniel and Amber. She insists that she doesn't want to break them up and she has no feelings for Daniel. Josh thinks she's lying and then she confesses she does, but she tells him that Daniel and Amber mustn't find out.

Matt and Lauren explain that the family trust was set up when Kathy bought the house for her grandchildren. Bailey comments that it's a pretty big deal owning a quarter of the house. Matt says it's actually a third, and Lauren adds that Kathy set up the trust before they found Paige.

Garage
Chris is still struggling, and tells Mark he's taken half an hour to do something that would normally take a couple of minutes. He starts to pack up.

MARK: Mate, I get that it's hard but...
CHRIS: No, it's not hard. It's impossible.

Chris tells Mark that he's never going to make it as a mechanic.

Amber and Bailey want to talk to Paige.

AMBER: You're a Turner too.
PAIGE: Yeah, um, I'm not sure I want to spend the rest of my life known as Paige Turner.

Amber and Bailey tell her that Mason has agreed, so they are going to ask Kathy to get Paige added as a beneficiary. Paige tells them they don't have to, but they insist and she is thrilled.

Lassiter's complex
Nate catches up with Chris, who says he's not up to the job. They hug.

No 32 garden
The family are having a meal. Bailey wants to know how much the house is worth, while Amber wants to know about their rights as landlords. Bailey says they should raise the rent. Amber says she wants an ensuite. Matt gets fed up and goes inside.

No 28
Susan asks Chris whether he should have given it more time. He says he needs two hands to be a mechanic. Still, he's still alive and has Nate, and great friends, and Lucy is arriving soon. Nate says he couldn't have coped in Chris's situation, and Chris points out he is in the same situation after the army.

SUSAN: What did you want to be when you were a little boy?
CHRIS: Cowboy.

Susan tells him he has to find a passion for something he wants to do. He thanks her.

No 32
Lauren tells Matt she'll talk to the children. Matt asks what she'll tell them: that he can't take a joke, that he's humiliated he can't provide a roof over their heads? She points out they bought the store instead. He says there are other places they could afford, but she says they love it here, but he wonders if it's worth it. She admits she doesn't like that it's Kathy's money, but they have no choice. He says there is always a choice.

MATT: I want to buy our house back.

Harold's
Josh comes in and sees Daniel. They stare at each other for a while. Josh sits down and Daniel approaches him, and confronts him about what he said. Josh suggests it was just the same as what Daniel did, but it's not about getting even, it's about Amber and him.

DANIEL: So you don't want her back?
JOSH: Of course I do.

Daniel says that Amber is his future, but Josh says Amber is meant to be with him and it will be her choice.
