Daniel and Amber are pashing, then he asks when she's going to tell Josh.
AMBER: I need to find the right time.
DANIEL: Stringing him along is only going to make it worse when you do.
She promises to tell Josh today. Then she suggests a sign: she holds her locket to mean she's thinking of him. He thinks it's a cool idea.
Mark and Paige are washing / drying up, but Mark's not entirely happy.
MARK: The cutlery drawer has sections for a reason.
She points out that he's bothered about cutlery, but didn't ask her about inviting Naomi to stay. He says that Naomi is Kyle's and it's a favour to him. She (sarcastically) says she'll make an effort. Chris and Kyle arrive, and Naomi explains she's selling her designer clothes on Erinsbay (OK, I made that up) so she'll have enough to move. Kyle is amazed to see one dress with a bid of $400, but Naomi says she made that bid. Kyle suggests that she comes home and sorts things out, but Naomi asks them to get her stuff. The boys are puzzled.
In the drive of No 32, Matt is unloading the ute and chatting happily to Josh. Amber arrives home and asks Josh if they could hang out. Josh is meeting someone to sell Imogen's skateboard, but they can talk on the way. Matt reminds her she's helping with the exhibition.
Across the road, Sheila dumps some of Naomi's stuff in the bin., and she tells Kyle to stay out of it. Chris tells Kyle to get the stuff out.
CHRIS: It's your dysfunctional family, not mine.
Naomi's not happy. Everything is dry-clean only and she can't afford to take all in. Chris and Kyle say they thought she was making lots of money at the law firm. She claims she quit, and because she didn't give notice, Toadie probably won't give her the job back. Kyle tells her to apologise and it'll be fine.
Turns out it's Jayden who wants to buy the board. He's seen Josh's skating online. This includes something called skitching, which is "mad as". Josh refuses to drop the price, but agrees to teach Jayden a trick.
Meanwhile, Daniel is crouching, taking photographs. Paige runs into him and rudely tells him to watch where he's going. She carries on being rude as he explains about living in the moment. Josh comes over and Daniel asks if he's spending time with Amber. Josh says probably. Paige asks why he's interested, and he says he's being friendly.
PAIGE: Why don't you care what I'm doing?
DANIEL: You're going for a jog. Is there anything else you wanna add?
Naomi tells Toadie that she wants to move interstate, so she needs money. She asks if she could have her job back temporarily. She says she's sorry for what happened.
NAOMI: And... I was a good assistant.
TOADIE: Yeah, yeah. You were actually. You were an excellent assistant. You were so good that I didn't even realise how you were manipulating my work diary and how you managed to get my wife to leave town.
He asks about her stalker, and she confesses he wasn't real. Toadie's shocked that the whole time they hung out was a lie, and says there's no way he's taking her back.
Daniel arrives for work, and Amber and Lauren are helping with the exhibition. Daniel and Amber give their sign. Lauren shows Toadie the artwork they have done, with the subject "Love and Family". Sheila looks on, and comments to Toadie that it reminds her of her Naomi before things went wrong. Toadie says he's come to talk to her about Naomi.
Waterhole - outside
Lauren tells Amber she's impressed by the artwork for the exhibition. Amber mentions she's having issues with Josh, then says that Lauren should try selling her work. Paige sees the two of them together and is sulky. She fobs Lauren off when she suggests coming to the exhibition.
A letter is delivered. Inside, Mark is talking cutlery.
MARK: Some of the teaspoons are in with the big spoons again.
PAIGE: I think we might have to call the kitchen police. Oh wait, they're already here.
MARK: I'm just asking you to be more mindful, that's all.
PAIGE: Of course you are.
MARK: It's easy for a knife to end up with the forks, a potato peeler with the spoons and before you know it, it's a big mess.
PAIGE: Like this?
Paige walks over and tips all the cutlery on the floor. Mark drags her out of the house.
Kyle asks Naomi how it went with Toadie. She says she doesn't have luck on her side. She comments that she really misses her dad, who always supported her. Kyle says that her mum wants what's best for her. Naomi says that her dad always sorted out rows between them. Kyle assures her that Sheila didn't mean what she said about Naomi being responsible for her father's death, but she's not so sure. Sheila must have been thinking it, or otherwise she wouldn't have said it.
KYLE: Maybe she's been wrong for a very long time.
NAOMI: Yeah, well, if she wanted to find the worst, most hurtful thing she could ever say to me, she succeeded.
Sheila can't believe that anyone would pretend to have a stalker, and agrees that she shouldn't get her job back. She asks Toadie if he's told Sonya. He says he doesn't want to tell her over the phone, and besides, she sounds so relaxed. Sheila advises him to choose his words carefully, as it's very hard to take them back. Toadie asks if Naomi said something to her, and Sheila said it was the other way around.
TOADIE: That's a pretty big thing to dump on Naomi if it's not true.
SHEILA: But she can't go through life being so unaccountable.
TOADIE: That may be so, but Naomi loved her dad. And if you're confusing the issues, that's not really fair, is it?
Paige is hammering a panel while Mark looks on. He says he keeps the panels for young women who need to get rid of aggro - as long as it's not him or Naomi. She says Naomi's not that bad, and neither is he, despite his cutlery obsession!
PAIGE: I got my hopes up about some and I feel like they let me down.
MARK: Well, did you talk to them about it?
She says no. Mark guesses that it's Ethan, and she says he's right. She asks for his advice. He says he knows talking is not her thing:
MARK: So I advise bashing some stuff.
They bash stuff together.
Dial a Kyle
Jayden is on the ground, groaning in pain. Kyle calls for an ambulance.
Chris and Naomi are cleaning her clothes. She thanks him for helping, because he's probably got better things to do, but he says things are quiet in Pappasland. Sheila turns up, and apologises for what she said about Naomi being responsible for her father's death. In fact she's carried her own guilt for it. She should have got him to change his diet and exercise. Then she gives Naomi a cheque so she can afford to leave Erinsborough, saying it was a mistake for her to come. After Sheila leaves, Naomi rips the cheque up. She says she will leave on her own terms. Meanwhile, she wants to focus on feeling better.
NAOMI: You have no man, I have no money, no job and no clothes. Let's go dancing!
Amber and Daniel kiss. Daniel asks Amber if she's doubting them, as he knows she hasn't told Josh. She says she's scared because everything is going to change, but it's worth it because she wants to be with him.
Amber sits down to talk to Josh, when Matt arrives. Amber tells him they're busy, but Matt says it's police business. He tells Josh that Jayden has had a serious accident, after watching videos online of Josh doing skitching. Amber says that it's not Josh's fault. Matt says that the videos show Josh breaking the law repeatedly, and he has to come to the station.
