Naomi is meeting a man (Lee), whom we shall call FakeStalker™ She tells him he has to break in, and they will catch him in the act, then he should run away and she'll be scared. He asks, quite reasonably, won't they think he's a regular burglar. Naomi suggests that he takes some of her lingerie which he can then drop on her bed. She tells him to make sure he the right room- and gives him a map
NAOMI: I do not want you accidentally going through my mother's underwear drawer.
She says she'll pay $500 in cash if he does a good job.
Paige is doodling. Mark wants to see, but Paige won't let him, paying his bill instead. Paige asks Bailey to take over the counter while she washes up. She sees him take money out of the till.
Sonya comments to Toadie, who is typing, that she's replaced Callum at work. She adds that she misses him. He's busy, but he agrees, pointing out at least they live in the age of video calls. Sonya wants to go to the Waterhole, but Toadie says he's too busy. It's fine with him if she goes on her own. She doesn't look too happy.
Amber asks Bailey if he's made a mistake with the till, as she can't get the amounts to balance. He says no.
Naomi tells Sheila that they've been sitting for 10 minutes without a fight breaking out! Sheila says they can't keep talking about the weather. Naomi accuses Sheila of treating her like a liar and Sheila retorts that she's acting like a liar. Naomi suggests having dinner and a home movie. Sheila is surprised, and says she'd thought of going to the pool competition at the Waterhole, and suggests they go together. Naomi says they can talk better if it's just two of them.
Gratuitously bare- chested Mark is cleaning his hands after work, and Sonya comes to invite him for a drink and to see the pool competition. She asks him if he's from Victoria (because it's state on state) and he says he's from South Aus. Naomi and Sheila wander by, and Naomi pretends to hurt her ankle.
SHEILA: If you've sprained your ankle, we should get you to Karl, or Georgia, or some other medical person.
AUDIENCE: There's some other medical person?
Mark goes to get some ice.
Brad is signing Paige up for the tournament, and she says she's definitely a Hobart girl. Brad comments that he and Terese had a great holiday there once, and asks the name of the market.
PAIGE: Oh, uh... Hobart Market?
BRAD: Oh, funny. Salamanca.
PAIGE: I'm not much of a market person.
Brad leaves, saying that he seems to be the only person born in NSW. Lauren comes over and asks Paige if she knows anything about a missing $100. Paige asks if she's being accused of stealing it. Lauren says no, it's easy to make a mistake. Paige says she doesn't know anything about it, and sheshouldn't have to deny it. Paige walks out. Amber points out that only three people had access to the till: Paige, Bailey and her.
AMBER: So unless you're accusing one of your children... who else could it have been?
Sheila helps Naomi over to the couch, and FakeStalker™ appears from the bedroom. Naomi acts scared, and he runs out.
Toadie sees FakeStalker™ running down the street.
Naomi tells her mother that she feels violated by having FakeStalker™ in the house. Sheila apologises for not believing her. Toadie comes in, and tells them he got a really good look at the guy, and rings the police, although Naomi tries to persuade him not to.
The tournament is in full swing, with state pride at stake.
Matt has come to interview everyone. Naomi says that maybe it wasn't her stalker.
SHEILA: Oh, the bloke had his grubby paws all over your personals! If he was going to make some quick cash, what was he going to do, pawn your knickers?
Naomi says making a statement will make her relive it, but the others all agree the guy has to be taken off the streets. Naomi "describes" the man, but Toadie says he got a good look and could put together a solid photofit.
Mark beats Chris. Lauren chats to him about Paige, and he says that she bought extra groceries today.
Lauren asks Paige to be honest with her. Only four people had access to the till.
PAIGE: And I'm the only outsider, so it had to be me.
Paige looks over at Bailey who is cleaning tables. Lauren says she has no choice but to let Paige go. Amber looks pleased. Lauren tells her not to act like it's a cause for celebration. Meanwhile Bailey leaves to take Paige her jacket, which she forgot.
Bailey gives Paige her jacket, and she tells him if he really wanted to do her a favour, he'd own up. He is surprised that she didn't tell Lauren even though she lost her job. She scoffs and says Lauren wouldn't have believed her anyway. She tells him that if he wants the money for what she thinks, he's going to be hurting a lot more people than himself.
Toadie gives Naomi a whistle / personal alarm (couldn't work out which) - which he says will scare off potential intruders. She tells him to go, but is pleased when he says there's no rush. Sheila has gone to the pool competition, so Toadie decides they need pizza and a movie.
Sheila tells Mark that Naomi won't rest until the maniac is caught. Meanwhile, Terese is playing Mark in the final.
SONYA: Do you know Northern Territory isn't even a state, Terese?
Terese wins, and Sheila presents her with the trophy.
Toadie leaves and Naomi thanks him. FakeStalker™ is in the kitchen and says being busted wasn't part of the deal. He's horrified to hear that the cops have been brought in, and says his price has gone up.
LEE aka FAKESTALKER: You owe me danger money. $5000.
NAOMI: Are you out of your mind?
He threatens to tell Sheila and Toadie everything if she doesn't pay.
Lauren pays Paige her wages, and is disappointed when she doesn't get any explanation or apology. Lauren says she hopes that Paige can sort herself out. Paige retorts that Lauren doesn't have a clue about her kids.
PAIGE: You are probably the worst mother I've ever seen.
