Amber sits at the table, deeply distracted and not touching her breakfast, when Imogen comes in, demanding to know what Daniel said about her, and whether he does indeed like her.
AMBER: He said a lot of things. Too much actually.
IMOGEN (groaning): I knew it. I knew he was into me.
AMBER: Yeah, about that - I...
IMOGEN: I should just stay away from him, right? That's the best way to deal with it.
AMBER: Yes. Yes, that is - definitely stay away from him.
IMOGEN: You think?
AMBER: Oh, no thinking necessary. Stay away for your own good.
Imogen thanks her for her advice, and they head to school, Amber still extremely distracted.
Lassiter's Complex
PI Tracey Wong continues to display her fondness for meeting clients in public spaces in broad daylight, as she updates Brad around the back of Harold's. She's been talking to people who were visiting the area in which Lauren gave birth all those years ago, but has had no success so far. However, she has struggled to get hold of one couple, called John and Mary Smith. She's tracked them down to an address in Adelaide, but is now asking for more money to follow it up.
Brad can't afford her quoted fees, so Tracey suggests he speak to Terese, so they can find a way to raise the money together. Brad says he doesn't want his family put through the pressure, and will continue the search on his own. Tracey passes him the address, and wishes him luck.
Erinsborough High School
Callum and Josie L are being all lovey-dovey in the corridor, while Amber asks Bailey if he's organised his suit for the vow renewal tomorrow. He hasn't yet, but passes an envelope to Amber that Daniel has asked him to give to her. It's a photograph Daniel's developed of a bird in a tree, with a message on the back asking her to meet him later and tell him what she thinks.
Josh comes over, and Amber is about to tell him what happened last night, when she notices the bruises all down his arm, incurred in his skateboarding accident. He still seems rather proud of his bruises, and insists he's fine - but when he gives Amber an opportunity to say what she was about to say, she chickens out and tells him it's nothing.
Callum is telling Josie L about a new juice he's created, which he's going to pitch to Sonya to sell at the juice bar in the nursery. Bailey, who is nearby, clearly finds the whole exchange nauseating.
CALLUM: It's called the Josie, because it's made with love.
JOSIE L: Aww! Nobody's ever named a juice after me before!
BAILEY: Not that you know of, anyway (!)
CALLUM: Yeah, well what can I say, I'm a trailblazer.
JOSIE L: You're adorable.
CALLUM: No, you're adorable.
BAILEY: Oh, you're both adorable. Makes me want to puke.
Josie and Cal look worried. An announcement goes out, asking Callum to go to the principal's office. They wonder what it's about.
In her office, Susan has given Callum some exciting news - being the stickybeak she is, she entered his app into a youth design competition without telling him, and he is one of seven finalists in Australia. She says he can take it further and compete internationally, if he's prepared to do some extra work. The first prize is a contract with a game development firm and to get his apps professionally produced.
CALLUM: Whoa!
SUSAN: Yes, whoa. So what do you say? Do you want to take part?
CALLUM: Hell, yeah. This sounds amazing.
Harold's Store
Daniel is showing Amber more photos he's been developing. He asks if she likes the one he sent her.
AMBER: Yeah. I do. It's like something from an old story. A fairytale.
DANIEL: That is exactly what I was going for.
AMBER: Daniel, you know I'm very committed to Josh, right? Like, very committed?
DANIEL: Yeah, I know that.
AMBER: Alright. Good.
DANIEL: I'd never make a move on you, if that's what you're getting at.
AMBER: Well then, what was all that stuff you were saying last night? Us having a vibe?
DANIEL: Because we do! I feel like there's something really special between us, and I just wanted to be honest about that. Share how I was feeling.
AMBER: But why?
DANIEL: Why not? You're a kindred spirit, and that is cool. I'm not trying to flirt.
AMBER: Are you sure?
DANIEL: Yeah, positive. I'm just really enjoying this vibe we have.
AMBER: And that's all?
DANIEL: Yeah. That's all.
AMBER: Okay. That's... nice. Thanks for sharing.
DANIEL: Any time!
Amber looks confused!

Callum is working on some crazy new features for his app, while telling Josie L all about them. Cal suggests inviting Bailey over to help brainstorm, but Josie isn't keen because of what Josie M has said about his behaviour, and the possibility that he's been drinking. Cal says he's sure he isn't - Bailey's the 'straightest guy he knows', and he wouldn't do that. Josie also wonders about the fight he was supposed to have with Jayden, which never happened. Cal says Bailey's just in a bad mood because of his break-up with Josie M, and just needs some time to get over it.
Harold's Store
Imogen is moaning to Brad about having to keep quiet that Tracey Wong has been tracking down his long-lost daughter. We learn Josh is out skating again. Terese turns up, having invited them for a family lunch. She's on top of the world, having had another session with Imogen's counsellor this morning, and it's really helped her offload.
BRAD: So do you think that was your last session?
TERESE: Yeah. For now. I feel on top of things. Unless of course something else goes wrong.
Brad and Imogen glance at each other sheepishly, and Terese immediately guesses something's up. She assumes they've been arguing, and Brad makes up a story that he told Imogen she couldn't have a driving lesson. Imogen shakes her head in disbelief, and marches towards the exit, having decided to forego lunch. On the way out, Daniel comes in.
IMOGEN: I spoke to Amber. I know how you feel.
DANIEL: You do?
IMOGEN: Yeah. And the fact is, it's not gonna happen.
DANIEL: Yeah, I know.
IMOGEN: You do?
DANIEL: Yeah, I never thought anything was going to happen. I'm not a girlfriend stealer; I told Amber that.
IMOGEN: ... Okay.
Perplexed, Imogen agrees that it's 'all good', and makes a swift exit.
Erinsborough High School
Imogen confronts Amber about what Daniel said to her, and Amber tells Imogen all about The Vibe™ that Daniel thinks they share. Imogen says Amber needs to tell Josh; Amber knows this, but is just trying to process what Daniel said - she honestly doesn't think he was flirting with her. Imogen is incredulous.

Sonya and Nell come in to find Callum working on his app during school time. Callum explains he has permission from Susan, and Sonya asks why...
Erinsborough High School
Sonya and Nell pay Susan a visit, to discuss the competition Callum's been shortlisted in. Sonya is overwhelmed, and thanks Susan for entering Cal, saying she always worried he would struggle to find a career he loved, given that he's never been a fan of school. Susan says that Callum is Gifted™, and that this could be his calling.
Outside in the corridor, Josie L quizzes Bailey about the fight he was supposed to have with Jayden. He denies all knowledge, but she persists in asking about why he seems so upset, saying she and Cal are worried. Eventually Bailey flips and shouts at Josie, telling her there's nothing wrong and to leave him alone. He slams his locker and storms off. Meanwhile, Amber speaks to Josh, claiming there's something she needs to tell him.

Brad is on the phone, telling someone he'll be cancelling his yoga classes for the next week. Imogen overhears, and asks why - correctly guessing it has something to do with his long-lost daughter. He admits he's going to Adelaide, as there's a lead he needs to follow up. Imogen is furious that he's planning this without telling Terese, or for that matter Lauren. But Brad insists he doesn't want to upset them, and can handle it on his own. He tells Imogen not to say anything.
Power Road
Daniel is skating, when Josh storms towards him, demanding to know more about The Vibe™ between Daniel and Amber. Daniel seems utterly unconcerned.
JOSH: You care to explain?
DANIEL: Oh, I was trying to be honest.
JOSH: You can't just tell someone you've got an intense vibe with them!
DANIEL: Why?
JOSH: Because you can't! That's why!
DANIEL: I'm not sure why you're getting so freaked out. It's not a romantic thing; Amber and I, we're just - we're on the same wavelength.
JOSH: So it's not a physical thing, is what you're saying?
DANIEL: Spiritual. And physical. It's the whole deal. Amber's got this fire inside, and the heat comes out in what she says and how she looks. But you know that.
JOSH: Are you telling me my girlfriend's hot?!
DANIEL: No! Well... yeah, but that's not what I mean. It's a different kind of heat. She has this positivity that radiates and burns like a creative fire. But that doesn't matter. The point is, you've got nothing to worry about. I'm sorry if I freaked you out. But it is better that you know, isn't it?
JOSH: ... Yeah. Yeah, I guess so. Okay, well as long as we're on the same page, then, err...
Josh walks off, scratching his head, while Daniel carries on skating.
Harold's Store
Callum is enthusing about app design, saying it's what he wants to do with his life - and Sonya is visibly excited for him.
SONYA: You know what they say. They say that the two most important days in a person's life are the day that they're born, and the day they find out why. And I think you've just found out why.
CALLUM: Hey, Nell - how do mums make even cool things sound lame?
Nonetheless, Sonya says she's proud of Cal and loves him so much. He leaves to track down Bailey, giving Sonya a kiss before he does. Sonya notices Imogen staring at her phone, and asks what's up. Imogen admits she's being pressured into doing something she doesn't want to.
SONYA: Is this a guy?
IMOGEN: ... Yeah.
Nell looks sombre as Sonya dispenses her advice. She tells Imogen not to feel pressured to do anything she doesn't want to, and that she can talk to her whenever she needs to. Sonya leaves with Nell - who is hilariously blowing kisses at her! - and Imogen calls Terese, telling her she needs to come home now.

Callum is excitedly relating news of his app's success in the design competition to Bailey, who blatantly couldn't care less.
BAILEY: What do you want me to say? Oh, so you've finally achieved something! Big whoop.
CALLUM: Look, mate, I know you're going through a rough time...
BAILEY: Stop. I don't want to hear it. Okay, why don't you go home to your perfect girlfriend, and your perfect app, and leave me alone?
CALLUM: ...
BAILEY: Are you deaf? Leave!
CALLUM: Fine. Jerk.
Cal walks out, and Bailey looks angry if mildly regretful.
Harold's Store
Josh meets up with Amber, and she asks how his chat with Daniel went down. Josh admits he tried to get angry with him, but struggled.
JOSH: The guy's so upfront. It's just - it's unnerving.
AMBER: He is a little strange, I'll give you that... What?
JOSH: I need to know. This Vibe™ that he's talking about - you don't feel it too, do you?
AMBER: Honestly, I'm not even sure I know what he's talking about.
JOSH: Well, he said that you've got this positive, creative fire that's burning inside you, and the heat comes out of your eyes, or something. I dunno.
AMBER: So he's saying I'm hot?!
JOSH: No, no. Well, yes. Yes. But it's a different kinda heat. Whatever the hell that means.
Amber insists she doesn't feel anything for Daniel, even if they are on the same wavelength; it's nothing more than photography and friendship, at least on her part. She kisses him and says he has nothing to worry about. But as they hug, neither of them look so sure.
