Garage
Mark has his detective hat on again and observes that the black car that kept passing the garage last week has been doing so again and is currently parked opposite the garage. Chris tells him to stop being a detective and find a missing piece of equipment but it's at #24 so Chris volunteers to go retrieve it.

Kyle comes by to invite Chris and Mark out for drinks after work, he's going to live the life of a single man again!

Just as Mark's curiosity is getting the better of him and he's about to head towards the black car, it suddenly takes off.

Lassiters Complex/Police Station
Mark is telling Matt about the black car and it possibly belonging to Danni's ex. Matt thinks he is overreacting but Mark's gut is telling him it's something and asks Matt to check out the rego number he took down, which he reluctantly agrees to do.

Ramsay Street
Kate leaves after borrowing a roll up mat from Sonya and telling her about her new philosophy for life.

Sonya decides to sticky beak again after seeing Chris exit #24 - she tells him about his mum looking for him and Chris explains to her why (her ATM card is broken and she needed money for groceries). "You didn't talk about anything else?" she un-subtly asks and Chris isn't amused.

CHRIS: It's still not your problem.

Number 30
Sonya is telling Toadie about her dilemma regarding Chris/Patricia that she's found herself in and is fretting that Patricia is going to have a relapse and that it will be all her fault.

Charlie's
Georgia is showing Kyle some second-hand baby stuff she is looking at online and wants to bid for. Kyle would rather they bought new despite Sheila saying the kid won't know any better.

Number 28
Georgia reports to Susan that the morning sickness appears to be over and Susan hands her over a little pressie - a journal where she can record all things related to her pregnancy. She asks Susan to talk to Kyle about buying second hand things (after seeking her option and finding they used hand-me-downs for their kids) and Susan comments that he will soon change his mind when he gets the first credit card bill! "That kind of thinking's not going to get me anywhere," she remarks after confessing that she's let her mind wonder when talking to Kyle about baby things.

Garage
Matt arrives to give Mark the bad news - the black car doesn't belong to Danni's ex and is told to make contact the next time he spots it. He's now back debating whether to tell Danni or not but admits to Chris that he doesn't want to freak her out. Chris' take is forearmed is forewarned but Mark reminds him that she is already jumping at shadows and suggests that they keep it to themselves but with their eyes peeled for the car.

Both are then surprised to see Danni appear and invite her to join in with the post-work drinks, which she agrees to attend after she's sorted out a bit of paperwork. When she heads inside the garage, Chris wants them to tell her but Mark still thinks it's best to not say.

CHRIS: I hope you're right.

Charlie's
The boys are impressed at the sight of Danni in a dress when she arrives at the bar and gets a bit of (friendly) stick for it.

Kate has her jealous eyes on when she spots Danni/Mark bantering with each other when she enters the bar before deciding on a quick exit.

The boys decide a kick-around on the oval is in order and Danni decides she is going to join in once she's gone via the garage to change into more suitable clothing. Mark/Chris look at each other but reassure themselves when Kyle announces he's going to the yard to pick up his trainers.

Harold's Store
Chris' dad is calling from Greece while he's in getting supplies for the kick around and he reassures him that everything is fine (and apologising for missing the dinner) and promising that he will spend more time with his mum.

Toadie has overheard his call and subtly asks him questions about his mum but Chris is straight onto him and asks if Sonya has asked Toadie to hassle him. He replies no but admits that she is concerned about his mum. "She shouldn't be," Chris answers and adds that the pair of them "need another hobby!" before exiting the store.

Dial-a-Kyle/Garage
Kyle locks up the yard after collecting his trainers and shouts out to Danni if she is ready but she tells him that an urgent job has come in that can't wait, so will have to give the kick around a miss. He heads off but doesn't recognise the black car sitting on the forecourt.

When Kyle heads off, the camera changes to the one inside the garage and we then see that someone (the ex) is there with Danni and is holding a heavy metal socket so she did what she was told ie get rid of Kyle.

Oval
Mark/Chris invite the passing Karl to join in their kick around but after a few mis-kicks (right at Karl's body) he decides to continue with his jogging instead!

Chris has to abandon the kick around when he gets a call from his upset mum but won't tell him why over the phone. The newly arrived Kyle changes places with him and tells him about the rush job Danni got in and admits that it did seem "pretty weird." Mark asks about the car and Kyle informs him about the black one and Mark starts running and tells Kyle they've got to go now!

Garage
The ex is forcibly moving Danni from the garage into the car just as Mark/Kyle arrive. The boys have arrived just in the nick of time - while the ex did manage to shove Danni into the back seat, he didn't have enough time to get in the car/leave so decided to do a runner instead, which lasted all of 2 seconds before Mark jumped on him bringing him crashing to the ground and restraining him while Kyle retrieves Danni from the car.

(Later)
Matt and a silent colleague come to pick up the ex and want Danni to come and make a statement so that he can be locked up for attempted kidnap and breaking the AVO. Danni is relived at the boys coming to her aid and Mark explains how he was able to piece it all together and apologises for not saying something earlier in case he was worrying her unnecessarily. She is just relieved at being safe.

Number 30
Toadie is putting Nell to bed when angry Chris appears on the doorstep annoyed at Sonya because his mum has found out about Hudson and is now in a mess.

CHRIS: (shouting) This is my life not yours.

Sonya apologises for his mum finding out, and explains that wasn't how it happened but adds that it might bring them closer together.

SONYA: This could all turn out for the best Chris.
CHRIS: You don't get to decide that.

Toadie comes out and ask that they keep the noise down as Nell is trying to sleep and suggests they take time out and discuss it later but Chris replies that there is nothing left to discuss.

CHRIS: Except to stay out of my life. Have you got that or do I need to make it clearer?

Toadie signals that they've got the message and Chris exits the house.

Number 26
Kyle leads Mark/Danni into the house and leaves them to have their drinks while he gets the barbie on. Danni is starting to believe that her troubles might finally be over and thanks Mark for what he (and Kyle) did. They are sitting next to each other on the sofa and Danni leans over to kiss him but he pulls back, telling her that it's not a good idea as he doesn't want to complicate their mates status.

(Later)

Mark explains that Danni's gone home saying she felt unwell when Kyle wondered where she was when he came back into the house.

KYLE: In other words your company was so bad it sent her running to the hills!

"Something like that," he replies before it falls deathly silent and Kyle comments that they weren't supposed to be moping around anymore!

KYLE: What a great pair we are.

Number 30/Penthouse suite
Its music montage time accompanied by 'Rolled in gold'. At #30 Georgia looks at a picture of her/Kyle together for putting in the baby journal while at the penthouse suite, Kate is looking at a picture of herself/Mark before ripping it in half.

Tomorrow on Neighbours
- Kate telling Georgia that she's the only person Kyle ever loved.
- Georgia asking Kyle if he is free tonight.
- Cal giving Bailey advice on how to get (hot) Josie.
- Kate discussing Mark with Rebecca.
- Rebecca encouraging Mark not to give up (on Kate).
- Mark angrily telling Rebecca it was due to her that he broke up with Kate.
