PAUL: You might want to take a shower and change first though. (Taking a leaf out of Kate's hair) You saving that for later?
KATE: No
Charlie's
Sheila and Karl watch as Paul's election posters are being hung up.
SHEILA: He looks good doesn't he? But then vampires always did age well.
Susan arrives and asks if Karl got her message. She wonders what time he'll get home tonight. Karl will be late as he wants to hear Paul's message tonight. He gets a phone call and leaves to answer it, promising to talk to Susan later.
Kate enters with some posters for Paul's campaign. Sheila apologises to Kate for being a rotten housemate. She knows it was Gem who printed the email and if she was a good friend she would have believed her. Kate doesn't want to come between Kyle and Georgia. Sheila tells Kate to give Georgia some time, she'll come around.
Lassiter's
Mason carries a box towards Harold's when he spots Imogen sitting on a bench, reading. She asks Mason how Bailey is doing. Mason says Bailey feels down on himself for hacking into Kate's email. Imogen says that Gem's the one to blame, not Bailey. Mason thanks Imogen for helping yesterday and hopes it wasn't too horrible for her to pretend to be Mason's girlfriend. Imogen jokes that she's too hot for Mason. He asks her to hang on a minute, he has to hand something into his mum, but then he wants to show Imogen something which will cheer her up.
Lassiter's Car Park
Mason has placed a red nose and antlers on Hermione. Imogen says it sends shivers down her spine, it's vehicle abuse. Mason tries to encourage her to get into the Christmas spirit, and suggests they go for a drive. Imogen sits in the car, but as Mason switches on the ignition, the car won't start. Imogen says that Hermione has died of embarrassment!
Number 30
Sheila brings over a frozen casserole to Georgia. Gem walks in having returned from the police station, she says the police told her not to worry, they'll sort it out. Gem goes through to lie down.
Sheila tells Georgia she knows that Gem sent the email. Georgia doesn't believe that, and she won't believe Kate and Kyle as they aren't trustworthy. Sheila knows Georgia has every right to be angry at Kyle, but she and Kate have been really good friends and asks if she thinks Kate could be this malicious? Georgia believes that Kate has been using Bailey to set Gem up. Sheila tells Georgia that just because Gem is family, doesn't mean she can't let Georgia down. Georgia says Gem has stuck by her through this; Georgia owes it to Gem to stick by her. Sheila says that she's heard Gem's side of the story, she should hear Kate's too.
Charlie's
Paul praises Kate on the set up of his mayoral campaign event. Kate wonders if he'll need her tonight, but Paul says he will. It'll be a big night for him and he wants her to be a part of it. Kate tells her about the fallout with Georgia over Gem. Paul suggests she report Georgia to the police for tipping the rubbish bag over her head earlier but Kate says no.
PAUL: Is there anything I can do? Maybe I could egg her house or put some manure in her driveway. Just let me know, ay?
Kate says she needs to come out of hiding so she will be here tonight. Paul says that Susan has called an emergency board meeting tomorrow and wonders if Kate knows anything about it. Paul suspects that Susan is going to take some time off from work to support Karl's campaign. Kate tells him he'll have to ask Susan.
Number 30
Gem's packed a bag, and tells Georgia there's no point in her staying, Kate's already turning everyone against her. Georgia tells Gem she'll have to stay and fight otherwise people might think she's guilty. Gem asks Georgia to come with her overseas, to Africa or Europe, they can go tonight! Georgia says it's insane, they don't have plane tickets or visas or jobs. Gem suggests they just get out of town tonight. Georgia says she can't, she's got a job and a gig for Paul tonight. Georgia says it won't help Gem's case if she does a runner. She assures Gem the truth will come out.
Number 28
Paul asks why Susan's called an additional meeting tomorrow and tries to get Susan to tell him what it will be about. Susan says it's just school business. There's a knock at the door, and Paul notices Susan struggle to get up for a moment. While Susan answers the door, Paul spots a bottle of medication. As Kate arrives to see Susan, Paul stands up and tells them he has to go, leaving the house. Susan tells Kate that Paul's been fishing for information on tomorrow's meeting. Susan's managed to keep Paul in the dark but she hasn't had a chance to tell Karl yet. She has to tell Karl right away, and tries phoning him only to reach his voicemail.
Lassiter's Car Park
Mason inspects the engine of the car, and stops Imogen from taking the antler's off Hermione. Imogen says she hates the commercial side of Christmas. Mason asks about the family side of Christmas, does her family have any traditions? Josh and Brad go to the pool, while Terese burns the turkey and they all fight over who does the dishes. Mason says their family haven't had a proper Christmas for a while as his dad does shiftwork and he was in juvie last year. Despite this, Mason says he likes Christmas because they act as Santa and give out hampers to those in need. He offers to show her.
Harold's
Paul asks Karl how Susan is coping with the demands of the campaign, but Karl says she's fine. Paul tells Karl about a recycle plant opening as all the candidates have been invited. A gullible Karl thinks it will have good photo opportunities and thanks Paul for the heads up.

Kate goes over to Paul, while Sheila tells Kyle they need to get Kate and Georgia to sit down together so Georgia will hear Kate out. Kyle says that he misses her, but Sheila notices he's looking at Kate when he says that. Kyle clarifies he means he misses Georgia. Sheila says he needs to make that crystal clear as he doesn't want to send mixed messages. Sheila says he has to find a way to get through to Georgia fast, as Christmas is just around the corner and he won't want to spend it with just his gran, as she's got plans. Kyle realises that since Georgia will be playing later, he could give her the guitar he was going to get her for Christmas, and plans to declare his love in front of everybody. He rushes off to get the present. Sheila's impressed.
Number 30

Charlie's
Susan arrives at Charlie's, looking for Karl. Kyle runs past carrying Georgia's present. Meanwhile Paul is on the phone to Georgia, who's apologising for not playing the gig. Paul is furious, but Gem takes the phone off Georgia and tells Paul that something's come up and hangs up the phone. Paul tells Kate how outraged he is. Kyle overhears and thinks something must be wrong, as Georgia wouldn't blow off a gig like that.
