Outside No 28
Karl and Susan are shocked to hear from Terese about Paul and the dodgy developer, and that he had threatened to fire her. She offers to help Karl with his campaign and heads off. Meanwhile, Susan's vision is blurred and she struggles to open the boot. She asks Karl to drive as she gingerly makes her way to the passenger door while ominous- music ™ is playing.
No 30
Toadie gets a call from Gem saying she's left some assignments at home. Meanwhile, Sonya is trying to contact Sleepless, who has been offline since she posted a rather blunt message. She asks Toadie whether she could track her down using her IP address, which Toadie thinks is a bit OTT. He points out she might be busy, or Elliot (her baby) might be sleeping OK now. Sonya is still worried...

...so she turns up to ask Lauren if Matt's in. Lauren explains that he went out early. He's doing the silent brooding thing since he found out about the dreams - and she's not even dreaming about Brad any more. Sonya assures her they'll get through it.
Men's Shed
Paul is showing a developer the site. She asks if the rezoning will go through.
PAUL: As long as you can do the job for the agreed price, and then keep quiet about the process, then yeah.
LING CHEE: Discretion isn't a problem for me.
Karl arrives, and tells Paul he's heard about the kickbacks. Paul says the first developer tried to bribe him, so he's got a new one.
KARL: Come on, we all know you were in on it!
PAUL: Really? Prove it.
He tells Karl that he has no hard evidence, only gossip, and the voters seem to like him better.
KARL: You're only more popular because you stole my platform.
PAUL: All I did was make it better.
He tells Karl he's not in touch with the public, and walks off looking smug.
Lassiters Complex
Matt comes out of the Police Station, just as Sonya is walking past. She tells him she thinks someone's gone missing.
SONYA: I don't know her name. She's an online friend and we've been talking a lot and now I haven't heard from her in a few days.
Matt tells her that she needs evidence that her friend is missing, not just "absent from cyberspace". Sonya sighs, and walks off. Matt looks round, then Sr Const Kelly Merolli comes out, definitely not in uniform. They walk off together, having both confirmed they're sure...
Harold's
Sonya and Nell are in Harold's. Sonya waves at a couple of extras who comes in. They think it's weird. Susan is watching from the counter (and Margie still has those reindeer antlers!) and she wanders over to see what Sonya is doing. Susan offers to sit with her while she waits to see if Sleepless turns up.
Lassiters Complex
Sonya walks past an extra with reindeer antlers, commenting to Nell how it was a waste of time. Nell begins to cry, and a man calls her name. He says he was just sending her an email. She's puzzled, then realises he's Sleepless in Erins. He introduces himself as Jacob.
Harold's
Sonya is cuddling Elliot and Jacob says he's never that quiet with him. He tells Sonya that Elliot's mum died following complications in childbirth. Sonya tells him he's made a new friend.
School - office
Susan slightly loses her balance as she crosses her office. Toadie pops in, because he wants to know how Gem's going. He tells Susan that Gem's been really upbeat since the engagement party, and if Georgia seems happier, Gem reminds her what happened. It's like she wants her to be unhappy. Susan suggests that maybe Gemma needs someone to care for. Toadie accepts this as a possibility, and leaves for work. More ominous music ™ follows, as Susan leans on the desk for support.
Charlie's
Paul gives Terese a bottle of wine, which he says is to thank her for pointing out that the developer was dodgy. He was outraged!
PAUL: When I become mayor, one of my pledges is going to be to fight corruption.
Terese scoffs, but Paul acts innocent. Karl and Toadie come over, and Toadie reluctantly points out that they have no proof. Terese says the only way to beat him is with a better platform, and suggests the deceased estate idea. Toadie says he should present it ASAP, but Karl disagrees. He doesn't want Paul stealing his idea again.
Harold's - outside
Someone has drawn a moustache and beard on the poster of Paul. Lauren comes out with a sandwich for a customer. She sees Matt and Kelly hand in hand. She takes her apron off and dashes after them.
Community Centre
Lauren watches as Matt and Kelly practise dance moves. She goes over to turn the music on, and they start dancing. Lauren watches them a while, and then applauds when Kelly praises Matt. Kelly decides it's time to leave. Lauren wants to know how long he's being doing this, as he never dances.
MATT: I figured you'd probably appreciate some romance in your life.
He tells her that he was upset about the dreams at first, but he trusts her. So he decided to learn some salsa. Lauren's very touched. They dance (and he's amazingly better than one minute previously).
No 30
Elliot is crying and Jacob says he doesn't recognise if it's a hungry cry or a tired cry. Sonya says it's probably wind, and proceeds to pat him on the back. Toadie arrives home and Sonya introduces them. Sonya and Toadie go into the kitchen to prepare lunch.
TOADIE: Isn't he meant to be a woman?
Sonya says she assumed wrong, and it's a very sad situation. Elliot throws up, and Sonya goes to help.
Ramsay Street
Sonya is seeing Jacob off. She gives him a casserole, and tells him to bring the dish back when they next meet. They hug and he thanks her for being amazing. Toadie's concerned that she might not be the right person to be taking this on.
TOADIE: He's in a lot of pain, and you're not qualified.
Sonya assures him she'll be fine.
School - office
Susan is on the phone to Karl, who wants to come round. The phone display goes blurry, and she loses her balance, knocking things off the desk. She's just finished picking them up when Karl arrives wanting her help. He wants her to introduce him to the parents and come on meet and greets. She tries to tell him she's not well, but he's not listening and is unhappy at her apparent lack of commitment. He points out that Paul is bribing people for votes and he could win. She agrees to help, and he leaves for the hospital. She calls the neurology department for an appointment.
SUSAN: I have MS. I think I'm having a relapse.
