Number 26
Kyle eventually comes up with right the solution to get the ring off Kates finger (putting her hand in a jug of iced water) and she is very much relived to get it off her finger! Sheila is over the moon too because she is more than looking forward to having a new granddaughter- in- law.

Number 22
Lauren pleads with Terese to drop the paid parking but is told her hands are tied. She then spots the sketch of Brad that Terese has had framed and gets rather hot and bothered about it especially when the man in question comes into the room, so much so that she feigns tiredness as an excuse to leave.

Number 32
Lauren is now having a cuppa in her own house when she lies down on the sofa and promptly goes into dreamland with dreams of a certain ex!

Number 30 (next day)
Georgia gets notification that the course she enrolled for (the one that possibly involves going overseas) starts next week. She asks that Gem doesn't say anything as she needs to broach it gently with Kyle moments before he calls round with brekkie. Georgia mentions that they havent had much us time lately and jokes that at least they aren't married with kids!

Number 26
Kate looks longingly at her bare ring finger when she puts the lid on her travel mug.

Kyle returns in a foul mood hes picked up from that remark that Georgia doesn't want to get married. Kate suggests that perhaps she just needs some encouragement after what happened with Scotty.

School
Gem gives Bailey a heads up that they are looking for a replacement to go on the China trip since Josie has pulled out. Bailey is eager to go so she tells him to find her at recess where they will go over the paperwork.

Lassiters Complex
The paid parking is now in place at the complex and its causing the punters to drive off rather than pay. Lauren bemoans to Sheila that its been so quiet but she didnt have the heart to send the casual home.

Brad spots them as he is jogging through and Lauren can't get away quick enough, leaving them bemused after she leaves.

School
Kyle seeks Gem out for some info on Georgia did Scotty put her off marriage. Gem doesn't think so but then mentions that the only thing bothering Georgia is this forthcoming emergency course. Kyle acts on that hes fine about it but really he is more than peeved and asks as Gem heads inside to take a class that she forgets they had this conversation.

Charlie's
Lauren runs into Brad yet again when she comes to borrow tea towels from Sheila. Again, she gets all hot and bothered and once he (and Josh) leave for the pool, Sheila manages to wriggle out of her that she is dreaming about Brad. Lauren pleads not to say anything and then is most relieved to discover that Sheila has been dreaming about Brad too.

SHEILA: It doesn't mean anything. Hes just a sexy hunk of man, that's all.

Both agree to keep quiet from mentioning their dreams to anyone else.

Harold's Store
What's the catch? asks Lauren when Bailey shows her the paperwork for the China trip but is told the Paul Robinson scholarship is covering everything. After Bailey reassures her a girl isn't involved, she promises to talk to Matt about it tonight, even if Bailey would rather the chat happened earlier.

Amber has picked the wrong day to ask for extra shifts as the store is virtually deserted apart from Gem/Georgia. She goes over to tell Georgia about hearing her song on the radio and Gem brings up about her maybe going overseas. Half your luck, Amber tells Georgia before leaving them to it.

Gem suggests to Georgia that she does the course and wherever she gets posted overseas she will go too as they need teachers. Georgia fills her in on what happened previously when she applied but Gem reminds her about her dream since childhood of wanting to help people and that she could make a real difference in somewhere say like Africa.

GEROGIA: I guess not many people get to do that, huh?

It seems like her mind is made up that she is going to do the course and asks again for her not to say anything until shes spoken to Kyle.

Charlie's
Kate is at the bar putting in a rush order when Kyle drops by to hand Sheila back her ring, he won't be needing it as Georgia has plans other than marriage. Both tell him that hes got to tell Georgia how he feels but his take is that she hasnt spoken to him about her plans (since hes heard all about hers via Gem) so concludes that they obviously don't want the same things.

Lassiters Complex
Lauren (and Sheila) are moaning to Terese about their business being down because of the parking charges when the lead her into an empty car park. She explains that she isn't willing to increase their rents/sack people to remove them.

TERESE: This is the only solution.

Terese leaves and Sheila comes up with a possible plan to attract business making parking sexy and attractive like they do on the Gold Coast and suggests that Amber (who happened to arrive) be their parking maid!

SHEILA: How would you like to make some extra cash love?

Amber is up for that but Lauren vetoes that idea because she doesn't want to exploit her own daughter. Lauren walks off (shes to sign for a delivery) and Sheila takes the opportunity to try and tempt Amber into the position.

(Later)

A sexy looking Amber with a Meter Maid sash goes over to a car and hands them their ticket and plugs Harold's/Charlie's to them as well as telling said punter to spread the word to all their friends. Turns out the plan is that the traders are going to be paying the parking fee and Sheila hands over a pile of coins to Amber before scurrying off.

Josh spots his girlfriend and isn't too happy and orders her to put some clothes on or she is going to attract the attention of every sleaze in Erinsborough! Amber refuses to go when Josh tries to pull her away, and tells him to suck it up as she is doing this to help her mum.

Number 30
Kate drops by for a chat and Georgia tells her about the forthcoming course and that she is undecided about whether to start it or not. She tells Georgia to talk to Kyle rather than her cousin.

Lassiters Lake
Gem and Georgia arrive with more food for the get together with Chris, Kyle and Kate. Georgia asks Kyle to take a walk later with her as they need to chat. Kyle is enjoying himself and comments that hed rather not be anywhere else, which Gem interprets to Georgia as him not being interested in travel.

Chris hands out the drinks and proposes a toast to the group:

CHRIS: To the future, may it be full of joy, fun and adventures.

To the future, the others toast as we go into the final commercial break.

(Later)

The group are all chatting away and Gem says that she is happy with herself for not letting Bailey slip under the radar. Chris asks Georgia if shes considered going overseas with her music to say London where she could end up being famous.

GEORGIA: Or I could end up broke.
CHRIS: Well youll never know.

When Georgia then adds that she can't see Paul giving up his campaign to travel with her, Chris says that she has Kyle for that but she replies that she couldnt ask him to do that.

KYLE: You could. Id do anything for you.
GEORGIA: Lets get married!
GEM: What?!
KYLE: Excuse me?!
GEORGIA: I know it sounds crazy, I know we havent talked about it but Kyle Canning will you marry me?

And we wait on tenterhooks to hear what Kyles response is as the promo beings.
