No 22 - garden
Terese is laying the table, while Brad tells Josh to slow down with his weight training. She thinks that maybe Josh is still angry at what happened. Brad repeats his instruction, and Imogen tells him not to lose it. Josh puts his weights down and asks about Clay.

JOSH: Clay? What the hell kind of name is Clay?
IMOGEN: Who cares what your name is when you look like that?

Josh asks if it's serious, and Imogen says she guesses it is, adding that he can't complain because he was all cosy with Hayley. He says he was just helping her with the BBQ. Imogen scoffs, and he says he hopes Amber didn't get the wrong idea.

No 32
Amber tells Imogen that Clay texted her, and shows Imogen the text.

IMOGEN: "What's up?" Oh, the guy's a poet.

Amber says maybe she should end things with him, not that Josh would care. She knows she can't compete with Hayley, who is the 100m champion at school.

AMBER: Not that I've Googled her or anything.

Imogen reminds Amber that Clay has time for her, so Amber says she'll ask him out and see what happens.

No 24
Rani is reading a review of her play which says it would have been more authentic if the writer had been to India. Reluctantly, she agrees with it, and wishes she could go, as her mother had loved it. Ajay considers, then says it could be a good use of some of the insurance money. But he wants to make a request.

AJAY: You've got to trust me more. You know? Tell me more about what's going on in your life.
RANI: You mean instead of Susan, right?
AJAY: Or the same.

He says he'll look for a trip for her next school holidays. She's thrilled, and they hug.

No 30
Toadie and Callum are talking at breakfast, while Sonya is looking distracted. Nell is crying in her room. Toadie doesn't move, and eventually Sonya goes. Callum asks if Toadie's on strike, and he explains that Sonya needs to keep busy, because she's a bit lost since "Walter" left. Callum points out that he publicly humiliated them.

CALLUM: And... and he reminded us how screwed up our family is.

Sonya wanders in and says she's going to a meeting so they have to look after Nell. Callum and Toadie look concerned.

Dingoes Gym
Terese, Imogen and Josh arrive at the gym to wish Brad luck on his first day. Terese has bought some water bottles to give as freebies to his new clients. Brad says she's brilliant, but the place isn't overrun. She assures him he'll be breaking membership records soon. Chris walks out of the changing room and asks Josh if he's heard from Hudson. He hasn't.

CHRIS: So you don't know if he's OK?
JOSH: Care factor.

Meanwhile, Terese has discovered there are only two bookings for the day. Imogen asks if she's worried he's going to fail. Terese says that if anyone can build the gym up, it's Brad. Imogen points out that she made out he couldn't fail. Terese says you need to embellish things to encourage the people you love.

IMOGEN: So now lying's OK?
TERESE: It's not lying. It's more... bending the truth.
IMOGEN: Yeah. I guess I've kind of done that too.

Community Centre - AA Meeting
Sonya is making herself some tea when Bob (the group leader) approaches her and asks where her uncle is.

SONYA: He's not, he's not here. But he's... he's good. He's well, he's good.
BOB: Good.

He laughs, and tells Sonya that they were impressed with Walter. She replies that everyone was very supportive, and it was a good meeting. He says it's all about trust, then he goes to call everyone to sit down. He starts the meeting by asking Sonya to read from an Alcoholics Anonymous book. Looking very distressed, she says she can't, and leaves the room.

Community Centre
Toadie is waiting outside and is surprised to see Sonya out so soon. She is very distressed and finds it hard to explain. Walter/Dave gave her a sense of her childhood, even though it wasn't real, and that has triggered old emotions. She's hearing a voice saying she'll be OK if she numbs the feeling. She knows it can't be trusted, but when the pressure builds up, you would do anything to make it stop. Toadie asks if she'll make it through, and she repeats that with him by her, she will make it. He hugs her.

Harold's
Sonya tells Toadie he should go to work. Toadie is still worried, but she says she'll be fine. Having been rude to Margie, Sheila comes to join Sonya. Sonya apologises that Sheila got dragged into Dave's lies. Sheila says he served a purpose.

SHEILA: Sounds pathetic, I know. But he did make me feel wanted again. And that felt really good.

Sonya says that she really wanted to believe Walter was her uncle. Sheila says they should both move on. Sonya sobs, and Sheila asks if she's OK.

No 24
Rani is showing Bailey pictures of India on her laptop. Bailey is about as interested as I was in the play storyline. Rani says she's going to see the Taj Mahal. He says it's great. She says she'll miss him, and that she can stop talking about India if he wants. He says it's fine. There's a knock at the door. It's Callum, who has brought back Rani's stuff. Prompted by Bailey, Rani tells him she's going to India. Callum is underwhelmed. Rani asks them to be happy for her. Bailey says they are, and looks to Callum, who confirms it, rather uncertainly.

Harold's
Sheila brings Sonya a piece of chocolate cake to apologise for upsetting her. Sonya says she was already upset. Sheila advises taking it out on her customers. Sonya laughs and asks for a job when the nursery goes bust. To stop herself taking it out on Toadie and the kids, she needs something positive to focus on. Brad comes in, and Sheila comments how running hasn't done his body any harm. Sonya looks thoughtful.

Dingoes Gym
Amber goes to talk to Josh. He's not very chatty until she says he had time for Hayley, when he says he was just helping her out. She says they looked cosy. He retorts that he saw her kissing Clay.

JOSH: Half the universe saw you.
AMBER: I, um... Clay and I are just friends.
JOSH: All right, well, your definition of "friend" must be a little different to mine.

(Later)

Sonya comes in looking unsure and asks Brad what deals there are. He says she can have a tailored programme or just come on a casual basis. She doesn't want casual, so he agrees to work out a fitness plan for her.

BRAD: ...then drive you into the ground till you beg me to stop.

She agrees. He asks if she wants to try the equipment first, but she wants to sign up straight away. He gives her a water bottle and welcomes her to boot camp. Nell gurgles.

Harold's
Toadie tells Ajay it's not a good time because Sonya needs him around after "Walter". Ajay points out he's not going until the school holidays. Toadie asks if he's been thinking about it a while. Ajay says just since the cheque arrived. He wants to spend the money on something Priya would have done, like take Rani to India. This argument seems to persuade Toadie. Ajay promises to wrap up his current cases, and Toadie says he'll get back to him.

No 22 - garden
Amber asks Imogen why she didn't tell her that Josh saw her kissing Clay. Imogen says it was no big deal, which Amber disagrees with. She then wonders why Imogen gave the impression that Josh and Hayley were together. Imogen first pretends she thought they were, then admits that she was trying to protect Amber. Josh broke a lot of hearts in Perth. She doesn't want Amber to be his first casualty in Erinsborough. Amber says she can take care of herself. Imogen says his last girlfriend thought that.

IMOGEN: That relationship ended way harshly. Like "needing therapy" harshly.

Amber looks sad as Imogen says that Clay is a much better prospect than Josh.

No 24
Ajay is on the phone, and rings off as Toadie comes in. Toadie jokes that if Ajay works 19 hours a day, he can go on the trip. Ajay shakes his head, and Toadie asks if he's OK. Ajay says he's had some bad news. His grandmother is dying, and doesn't think she'll live until the school holidays.

AJAY: I've got to leave for India now.
TOADIE: OK, when you say now, you're talking the next couple of days?
AJAY: No, no, I mean now, mate. Now as in today.

Ajay sighs, and Toadie looks taken aback.

(Later)

Rani wants to know why her great- grandmother didn't call. Ajay says it's because they were grieving for Priya - she didn't want to be a burden. So now he's got to pack, and so has Rani. She gets up as he tells her that she'll be staying with the Kennedys, so she should just pack what she needs and pick up what the rest. She insists that she wants to come with him.

AJAY: You've got school, Year 10, it's important.
RANI: Not as important as family.

He tells her he's made his decision, leaving her looking hurt.

- Karl tells Georgia they're not a covers band. Susan scoffs
- Kyle thinks Georgia is incredible
- Rani asks Ajay if they can be a family; he decides she can go to India
- Bailey tells Rani he loves her
- Mason feels like a gofer, Imogen says he's an apprentice. Paul thinks he's a good investment because of Kate.
