Men's Shed
Kyle is sleeping on the sofa when Brad comes in, to catch up on some physiology reading for Josh's coaching. Kyle explains he needed to clear his head and get away from all his friends smothering him due to his eyesight. Brad gets a text from Lauren, saying that Kyle has gone missing and asking for his help. Brad replies, letting her know Kyle's safe, while Kyle shakes his head in despair.

Ramsay Street
Imogen runs into Mason, and tells him she's convinced their meeting like this is the universe's way of telling them something. She suggests they go on another date - perhaps another foreign film.

MASON: Do you like the sound of me snoring?
IMOGEN: Fine! I can be versatile. How about a regular movie?

Kate walks past and it's all very awkward. It distracts Mason, and he can't give Imogen a straight answer about going on another date - so she tells him to think about it.

No 26
Brad brings Kyle home - and Sheila, Georgia and Chris are relieved.

CHRIS: Good to see you, mate.
KYLE: I wish I could say the same, really. On a couple of levels.

Georgia tells him it's unfair of him to be cranky with him; he disappeared all night without telling them where he was. Brad leaves, and Kyle is about to go for a shower - but Georgia is angry that he hasn't even apologised. Kyle tells her to go back to work, and says to Chris that he doesn't need to cover at Dial- A- Kyle anymore; he's going to shut it down until he knows what's happening with his sight. He apologises to Georgia for worrying her, but she isn't convinced he's genuine. He disappears off to his room in a sulk.

Erinsborough High
Susan collars Josh for running in the corridor, and introduces herself as the principal. He's rushing off to train at the pool as he has two free periods; Susan remarks that he could use them for study, but Josh claims he's all up to date. As Josh leaves, Kate arrives. Susan nosily enquires about Kate's love- life; Karl may have filled her in on the latest. She offers Kate some time off, but Kate thinks she'd just end up sitting around obsessing about things, so declines.

Amber and Imogen go into the classroom; Imogen says she's texting Mason to organise another hot date. Amber says she's pretty sure Mason is still in love with Kate, but too dumb to realise it. Imogen seems very laid back, saying Mason seems interested, but that if he wants to be with Kate she's not stopping him. Kate comes in to begin the lesson, and Imogen is convinced Kate will have marked down her essay because she dated Mason. Amber says Kate's not like that, and sure enough, Kate has graded Imogen's work A+. Amber has also got an A, which Kate says shows the tutoring has paid off.

Charlie's / Swimming Pool
Sheila gossips to Susan about Kyle's disappearing act, when Brad comes in. Evidently he's been surfing the Neighbours website, because despite this being their first meeting, he tells Susan he's heard a lot about her before she's even introduced herself. Brad joins the gossiping session about Kyle and Georgia, whom Sheila says are driving one another mad - Kyle is crabby because of his sight, and Georgia is smothering him.

Sheila gets back to work, and Susan mentions to Brad that Josh is down at the pool training. Clearly perturbed that Josh is training without him, Brad says it must have slipped his mind; their conversation is interjected by footage of Josh climbing out of the pool. Back in Charlie's, Susan remarks that Josh's schedule seems quite hectic. She suggests she have a meeting with him to go over his timetable, to ensure he doesn't fall behind. Brad says he'll pass the message on.

No 26 (garden)
Kyle is just getting into the hot- tub, when Georgia comes out for a reconciliation. She says she understands he needed some time out, but it's not fair for him to keep acting like this. Kyle's not very receptive however, saying Georgia doesn't understand. He says their relationship has just run into one hurdle after the next (don't we know it) and it's made him think they're not meant to be. He tells Georgia that they should maybe break up. Shocked and tearful, she says that's okay, if that's what he wants - and leaves him to his own devices.

Charlie's
Georgia comes in looking for Kate. Mason is in the bar, but is not particularly helpful as regards Kate's whereabouts. This causes Georgia to launch into a tirade.

GEORGIA: I bet you don't even care, do you?
MASON: We broke up.
GEORGIA: So suddenly she doesn't exist?
MASON: That's not what I meant.
GEORGIA: No, you are so stupid!
MASON: Take it easy!
GEORGIA: No, you're totally clueless that you're batting above your own weight in the first place. And then when things get hard, you just stick your head in the sand. Now I hope that Imogen figures out sooner rather than later what a creep you are.
MASON: Look, all I said was -
GEORGIA: Men are just pathetic, okay! Every last one of you!

Georgia storms out, leaving Mason (and a male extra) looking mortally offended.

No 22
Brad is using Swim Manager Pro software on his laptop to look at Josh's schedule, when Josh himself comes in. He lies to Brad about where he's been, but Brad reveals he knows he's been at the pool. Josh admits he thought he'd try out Don Cotter's idea of doing a few 'easy laps' and 'middle- distance' stuff to mix things up a bit. Brad is aggrieved, telling Josh he's a sprinter - that's what they've been working on for years, and if Josh thinks Brad's making the wrong calls he should say so. Josh denies this, but says he just thought he'd give it a try; it won't happen again. Brad hands him his lunch and a protein shake, and Josh heads back to school.

Lassiter's Lake
Georgia finally catches up with Kate, and admits she's just had a massive shout at Mason and all of mankind. She then explains Kyle's broken up with her because he thinks their relationship is doomed. Kate thinks that's crazy, but Georgia thinks he might be right.

Erinsborough High School
Kate is teaching a history lesson on Czar Nicholas II (does she just pluck historical topics from thin air, or is there actually a syllabus?) to Amber, Imogen and a classful of bored extras. Imogen's texting on her phone, and Kate catches her in the act, confiscating it and telling her to collect it after school. However, a text from Mason arrives while the phone's on Kate's desk, saying: "I'm keen if you are - bring on date number two!" Kate looks thoroughly miffed; bet she's regretting that A+ now.

Later, Imogen comes to collect her phone from Kate, and Mason calls! Kate tells her she can answer it, so Imogen does so, telling Mason she'll phone him back. Kate says if she sees Imogen using her phone again in class, it will be confiscated indefinitely. Imogen promises it won't happen again. Imogen leaves, and Kate sighs.

Swimming Pool
Amber is on the stalk again, when Josh spots her.

JOSH: What are you doing here?
AMBER: Err... I do laps, every now and then. It's really good for my asthma.
JOSH: Do you always swim in uniform?
Amber says she hasn't got changed yet, and changes the subject, asking Josh if he wants to go for a coffee later. He says he's busy.

AMBER: Oh, really? I thought you had an hour before weights?
JOSH: How did you know about that?
AMBER: Erm... Imogen told me!
JOSH: Imogen tells you about my training schedule?
AMBER: Yeah. She's always talking about you, like, 'Josh this, Josh that'; and I'm like 'Hey, calm down, that's enough about Josh, don't you think?' But yeah. Whatevs.

Josh says he'd like to go for coffee, but he has to have his meeting with Susan. He suggests doing it some other time, when Brad turns up and interrupts.

No 32 (garden)
Chris is going for a dip in the Turners' pool, as Amber fills him in on the latest.

AMBER: I'm never going near another swimming pool again.
CHRIS: Haha! Serves you right for being a stalker.
AMBER: I like to call it admiring from a distance.
CHRIS: And is that how Josh saw it?
AMBER: He probably thinks I'm a freak.
CHRIS: He's a swimmer; I'm sure it's not the first time he's been checked out in his speedos.
AMBER: Then I am a full- on cliché. And that is so not what I was doing.
CHRIS: Really?
AMBER: Okay, maybe a little.
CHRIS: Hey! If he can't see how great you are - apart from the stalking - he is not worth it. Go for gold!

No 26
Kate comes in to find Kyle drinking her wine, and gets a glass so she can join him. Casually joking about his eyesight, she quickly apologises, saying she's in a 'dark place' because of the situation with Mason. She raises a toast to bad jokes, and not talking about their relationships. Kyle raises his glass.

Later, Kate has given up on the not- talking- about- relationships thing, and is expressing incredulity that Mason could be interested in a girl like Imogen, having so recently been in love with Kate. She then asks Kyle why he's broken up with Georgia. He admits he's worried he'll never get his sight back, so he wouldn't be able to work or do anything - and is scared of the impact this would have on Georgia. Kate points out it's up to Georgia to decide if she can't handle it, but Kyle says this is the only way; he's sick of being mothered and Georgia's probably sick of mothering. Kate insists that's not true, and calls Kyle an idiot - sending him stomping off to bed. He trips over the rug, so Kate helps him to his room.

In Kyle's room, Kate admits it may have been harsh to call him an idiot, saying she'd be terrified in Kyle's shoes. She sits next to him on the bed. Kyle thanks her, for not automatically telling him everything will be fine, like everyone else is.

KATE: Yeah, you must be pretty sick of hearing that by now.
KYLE: See? You get me. You always have.
KATE: Well that's because I'm awesome, remember?
KYLE: Hey. I think so. And Mason knows it too. He'll get over himself and realise this Imogen chick isn't worth it.
KATE: I don't feel awesome, I feel stupid.
KYLE: You're not stupid.

Kate sheds a tear.

KYLE: Kate?

Kyle raises a hand to touch her face - and they slowly fall into a kiss.

Tomorrow on Neighbours
- Kate rushes out of Kyle's room, in denial that they apparently TITTNL
- Georgia tells Kate she's decided to talk to Kyle to try and sort things out
- Chris realises something's amiss between Kyle and Kate
- Kyle tells Georgia he needs some time alone
