- Mason telling Ajay that Tim Collins is now going to represent him.

- Amber fessing up to messing up Chris' date.
The Eclipse - 1 hour before
Number 32
Bailey is telling his family (minus Mason, he's working for Paul) the scientific facts about the eclipse that is due in an hour's time but they are more interested in getting the food ready! Lou volunteers to head to the store when they realise that there is no Balsamic vinegar.
Number 32 Backyard
Toadie and Karl chat about Steph being off her meds (and what the consequences could be) as they make their way to the backyard. Karl is concerned too that he can't get hold of Steph on the phone and both seemed relieved that Lucas didn't go with her on the camping trip. They try to talk to him about Steph but he doesn't want to talk about that until after the eclipse as he's got something special planed and doesn't want to ruin the vibe.
Harold's Store
Paul reacquaints himself with Brad Willis (Terese's hubby) and he himself is taking a trip down memory lane to when the store was called 'The Hungry Bite' and why it was named so. Paul then hands over the keys to #22 but refuses to answer specifically when Brad asks if he will know anyone still living there!
Lou does a double take as he passes Brad on the way out and goes "oh" when Paul confirms that it was Brad!
Lassiters Complex
And we see for the first time Brad and Terese's kids (twins Imogen and Joshua) who are chatting about the eclipse waiting for the return of their parents, who after a bit of PDA (much to the kids' embarrassment) eventually arrive.
Number 32 backyard
Lauren is concerned that her dad isn't back yet as she takes a call from Amber (who's at #26) to say she's going to watch the eclipse there with Chris.
Toadie/Sonya, Lucas/Vanessa prepare themselves for the eclipse by putting on their special glasses. Bailey and Callum discuss arrangements for looking at it via some projector contraption Bailey has created but Rani decides to just use the special glasses. You can just about cut the tension in the air between Rani and Bailey!
Karl yells out for everyone to put on their special glasses and the gathered all start to watch the eclipse. In the middle of it Lucas gets down on one knee and proposes again to Vanessa. She accepts and love is in the air too among the other couples. Cal's time looking through the projector is up but Bailey forgoes looking through it to follow Rani into the house when she suddenly takes off.
Number 32
Bailey comes into the house and wants to know what is wrong but Rani tells him to go back outside and watch the eclipse. He ignores that and instead walks over to where she is standing and gets it out of her that she's thinking of her mum. She's wondering if Priya can see the eclipse and what happens when you die, so he gives her a reassuring hug.
Ramsay Street
Lauren is getting concerned for her dad and eventually finds him coming up Ramsay Street and just as he's going to tell her about Brad, the man in question calls out her name!
He jogs over to her side of the street as Lauren tries hard not to let her chin totally hit the floor when both discover that they are going to be neighbours and that Brad has a family with him too.
LOU: Just like the old days eh!
First commercial break over and we rewind back in time to 45 minutes the eclipse
Number 26
Sheila finishes reading the boys what the Warratah Star is saying about the eclipse as she's heading off to work. Kyle teases Chris that it will be safer to watch the eclipse in the spa with him and Georgia than at #32 with Amber! "I don't what to encourage her anymore," he tells Chris literally seconds before she enters the house! He doesn't look really enthralled at going to chat with her (Kyle leaves him to it) and he explains his reasons for not wanting to watch the eclipse at #32 (he doesn't want to do crowds). Amber replies that she feels the same too and asks if she can watch the eclipse there and without much reason to say no, he replies "sure".
Number 26 backyard
Kyle likes the greeting Georgia gives him when she enters the backyard (a pash) - it's his reward for not doing a runner after how she's been recently. The good mood is killed when grumpy Chris comes out of the house and Kyle explains to her why.
Number 26
Amber calls her mum to say she's going to watch the eclipse from #26 but she quickly ends the call when she spots Georgia in the house. Georgia takes it upon herself to have a 'quiet word' with Amber over what Kyle said to her outside. Georgia asks that she has a think about what she is doing and does something about it before she ruins her friendship with Chris altogether.
Number 26 backyard
Its eclipse time (again!) and Georgia and Kyle watch it from the pool while Amber stands with Chris just at the back door. The four of them put their special glasses on and Amber admits to Chris that she has feelings for him (despite knowing that nothing would come of it from his end) and apologises. He accepts her apology and reassures her that if he was "on the other team" then he would want her as his girlfriend.
CHRIS: We can still be mates?
AMBER: I'd like that.
Somehow Bossy has managed to get hold of Kyle and/or Georgia's glasses (probably came off when they were pashing) and she gets out of the spa to go chase Bossy to get them back but silly Kyle decides to watch the eclipse without them!
KYLE: It's beautiful.
As the eclipse finishes, Georgia yells at Kyle not to look (at the sun) because he'll damage his eyes and looks like some damage has occurred when she reaches him and she shouts for Chris to call Karl as we head into the next ad break.
And we return from this ad break to 20 minutes before the eclipse
Lassiters Park/Lassiters Lake
Kate (and Paul) is impressed with the impromptu selling that Mason is telling some couple that are interested in an eclipse apartment. He comes over and explains that he referred them to one of the sales agent and that he did the impromptu stuff as a way of paying Paul back for organising Tim Collins to be his lawyer. The trio then discuss how the meeting with Tim went before he leaves them to get back to work.
Paul announces that he's off to Charlie's thus ignoring the eclipse, which surprises Kate, but as he walks off she's found someone else to keep her company - Mason. While he was walking away, Paul seemed to be having second thoughts about Mason and seeing how close/good Kate/Mason are together.
Charlie's
Sheila is surprised to see Paul enter the bar as the punters leave to go watch the eclipse. He then tells her to head outside too but she's fearful in case they try to sell her an apartment again! (She explains she doesn't want one now as she feels Kyle still needs her.)
The pair then start talking about families and putting their best interest first, when Paul asks how far she'd go to protect her family.
SHEILA: When it comes to my family, there's nothing I would do to stop them from getting into harm's way.
Lassiters Park/Lassiters Lake
And for the third time we're about to see the eclipse as Mason makes sure Kate has her special glasses on. He then tries to have a serious talk to her about what will happen in court.
MASON: I never said this to a girl before. I love you.
Just as Kate takes off her glasses to respond to Mason's declaration, she spots something... or should that be someone - Mark Brennan standing in amongst the trees.
KATE: It can't be?!
Mason asks her "what is it?" but she ignores him and instead starts heading in the direction where Brennan was standing in. After a second, Mason follows her also as we head into the final commercial break.
Commercial break later (and no rewind this time) Kate reaches where Mark was standing and calls his name out. Mason reaches her asking who is Mark?
KATE: He's my ex boyfriend but he's dead.
Number 32
Vanessa and Lucas head into Mason/Bailey's room to check on Patrick and discover he isn't in his pram, where he should be and that his dummy is lying on the floor.
