The kids get ready for school excited at the prospect that their older sibling will be joining them soon. Matt and Lauren are still concerned though at not knowing where he is - Matt has spread the word round the stations where they used to live, hopeful that someone will give him a call with news unlike the one he got a few moments ago.
MATT: I'm sure Mason will turn up somewhere.
School
Priya is relieved when her phone bleeps, that it's just a message from Ajay and not from whoever was sending the offensive messages. She tells Kate that it's all calmed down after the non- meet last week and thinks she's heard the last of it.
Ramsay Street
Vanessa is clearing out stuff from the house... including the gnome with the money Mason hid in it! She runs into Rhys and explains the clear out and tells him about relocating to the hospital with Lucas. He seems rather fine about it, but it could just be Rhys putting on his usual facade!
Number 32
The Turners are becoming very wondered about Mason when he literally walks into the house, well the kitchen! He quickly embraces his mum and she tries to stop Matt interrogating him, relieved that he has arrived safely.
School
Bailey and Cal ward off the latest school bully (Alistair) when he hassles Rani. She admits to the pair of them that she is sure he's the one behind the Facebook page but can't prove it.
Rani heads off and Cal has a go at Bailey for jumping in to help him ward Alistair off as he felt it undermined him and made him look like a wimp! Bailey suggests that if Cal got confirmation that it was Alistair who set up the Facebook page, that would get him back in major favour with Rani!
Number 32
Bailey rushes home from school to meet his brother. Matt still isn't amused at not hearing from him for 2 weeks after his early release but Mason keeps quiet over what he did other than to confirm to his parents that he has changed, he just needs them to let him prove it.
Lou enters the livingroom and embraces his grandson, please that he's finally been able to join the others. Mason also finds out about someone breaking into the house when Lou winced upon them hugging.
School
Cal has roped Sophie into helping him prove Alistair was behind the Facebook page. Her task is to distract him so that Cal can get his mobile phone. Eventually the plan comes to fruition and she helps out again when Cal realises the phone is pass code protected so they can finally get into it.
Harold's Store
Cal has found the incriminated info on Alistair's phone and tries to convince Rani to tell her mum about it all even though she's extremely reluctant to do so.
Ramsay Street
Sheila can't resist having a look through the junk that is lying on the kerb awaiting collection.
Number 32
Bailey explains his suspicion to Mason that it was Robbo from Mount Isa that did the recent break in - he's after the money from the robbery (that Mason was sent down for) that he found under his jacket in Lauren's car.
Ramsay Street
Sheila continues her scavenging and comes across the gnome with the money hidden in it!
Number 32
Mason doesn't think it was Robbo as he doesn't know they've moved to Erinsborough and thinks it's just as Matt suggested, it's a random break in. We know now how much money was inside the gnome - $10,000!!
Ramsay Street
Mason and Bailey rush outside to get the gnome but of course it isn't there and they start panicking. However their panicking is momentarily stopped when Amber spots her big brother and rushes to embrace him.
School
Priya is surprised to see Rani at her door although she doesn't seem too rapt when Rani tells her they have the proof on Alistair's phone that he was the one who set up the Facebook page. "That kids always been a ratbag," she tells Kate though when they discuss it after Rani leaves.
(Later)
Priya dishes out the punishment to Alistair - he's suspended for 2 weeks. She confronts him over the texts but he denies it was him.
After finishing with Alistair and his mum, Priya then seeks Rani out to thank her for what she (and Callum) did. The normally very frosty atmosphere between the pair of them seems to thaw by several degrees!
Number 26 back yard
Sheila adds Bailey's gnome to her existing collection that she's decided to bring out from storage much to Rhys' disgust!
Harold's Store
Lauren admits to Matt that she is relieved that Mason does seem to have changed.
Number 32
Mason decides to confront his dad over his role in putting him in jail. He also admits that the "I've changed" speech was just a facade to the others and that he hates his dad even more! "I hated what I had to do," Matt reveals to his son and reminds his son how many times he'd been arrested previously!
MASON: That's irrelevant.
MATT: I made the only call left. We did everything we did to stop you going down that path and nothing worked.
MASON: You tell yourself whatever you need to.
MATT: It's the truth. If you hadn't gone to juvie, in six months time you'd have been in adult prison and you think I didn't have nightmares about that? You were out of choices mate, juvie was the lesser of two evils.
MASON: No, I didn't have go to either, that's on you.
MATT: You gave me no choice.
MASON: You did have a choice and now you have to live with it and so do I. I don't forget and I don't forgive. How's that for your clean slate?
