Kyle leaves his bedroom to answer the front door. It's Sonya, who's come to invite Kyle to dinner. When he refuses, she assumes it's to get a good night rest before Jade gets back tomorrow. Sonya lets him off for tonight, but just as she's about to leave, she remembers she wants to borrow the vegetarian cookbook she gave to Jade as a present. Sonya comes in to hunt around for it, so Kyle unconvincingly says that Jade has taken it to LA with her.
KYLE: She spotted it on the shelf and said it reminded her of you.
SONYA: A cook book reminded her of me?
KYLE: A vego cook book, because you're a vego. (Kyle says guiltily)
SONYA: (Sonya's suspicious look turns to a smile) That's really sweet!
Sonya leaves. Kyle sighs with relief as Jade leaves the bedroom, making fun of Kyle's lying skills. Kyle says that if Sonya knows she's back, she'll want a piece of her too, and he wants her to himself. He spins Jade around and kisses her.

In Kyle's bedroom, Jade sits on the bed while a shirtless Kyle joins her. Sonya calls Jade, to find out if she's bringing the cookbook home with her. Jade says she is, and pretends she's at the airport. Kyle puts on a dodgy American accent, and calls for Jade's boarding pass as she's holding up the line. Jade says bye to Sonya, and laughs about Kyle's terrible accent. He then play feeds her ice cream.

PAUL: I hand that boy a gift and he treats it like everything else in life. It's just a complete waste of my time and money.
KARL: There's a lot of stress in running a bar.
PAUL: Andrew wouldn't know stress if it asked him out for dinner.
KARL: He has been through quite a bit in the last few weeks, Paul
PAUL: He is not the one learning to walk again. He has got no idea how lucky he is.
Karl asks if Andrew has spoken to him about anything, Paul wonders why Karl is so interested in Andrew. Paul says that Andrew came out of the crash with only a few scratches and a bruised ego, and he's sure Andrew will be fine.

He assumes that Andrew had been out partying all night, which Andrew denies. He reminds Andrew that if he has one more stuff up, then that's it. Andrew says to wait until tonight, people will come.
