Lassiter's Complex
Chris catches up with Aidan; he wants to make sure they're okay after their row before, but also asks what he was doing hanging around with Andrew afterwards. Aidan says he just was checking on how Andrew has been since the accident because he's a nurse, but Chris isn't buying it.

CHRIS: Why are you guys so chummy all of a sudden?
AIDAN: I dunno, erm... Maybe we're in love and we're going to run away together.
CHRIS: So you think this is funny, do you?

When Chris again accuses Aidan of taking Andrew's side, Aidan admits he's become friends with Andrew since he's been in the hospital a lot visiting Sophie. He says he doesn't want to get involved in the situation surrounding the lawsuit, but Chris pressures him into saying whose side he's on. Aidan tells Chris he can't make him choose, and Chris walks off, annoyed, while Aidan looks exasperated.

No 26
Kyle is bored as Jade and Sonya discuss which pairs of shoes Jade should take to LA with her. She's flying out later this evening and just wants a low-key departure, but Sonya squeals at her incessantly until she agrees to have one drink at Charlie's before she leaves.

When Sonya's gone, Jade tells Kyle she'd do anything to get out of the 'one drink' - so after slipping the photo-frame he made her into her suitcase, he buys in some supplies and prepares a quiet evening in for just the two of them - calling Rhys and telling him to make himself scarce, then asking Harley to go out as well.

HARLEY: I get it. You're not going to get any for a while, and you want to make the most of tonight!
KYLE: That is so wrong coming from you.

A cash bribe seems to do the trick, but Harley expresses concern that what Kyle's preparing doesn't look that spectacular. Kyle says Jade wants something low-key, and that's what she'll get.

Charlie's
Sonya is with Callum, trying to book a large table for Jade's leaving drinks this evening, while Tash fixes her nails and looks uninterested. Eventually she passes Sonya the booking sheet so she can fill it in herself! Tash tells Sonya it had better not be a party, but Sonya insists it won't be. Cal warns Sonya that Jade wanted something low-key, but Sonya insists Jade will have fun when she gets there.

No 32
Chris visits Lucas under the pretence of picking up his payslip, but really he needs someone to talk to. He explains the situation with Aidan and Andrew. Lucas says he can't expect Aidan to dump his other mates at Chris's behest, but Chris argues that Andrew and Aidan were never even friends before the crash. Chris says Andrew doesn't deserve to be anyone's mate after his recent treatment of Tash , Ed and Summer - and says he thinks there's more to it.

LUCAS: I reckon I've never heard you sound so much like a girl.
CHRIS: What?
LUCAS: You're over-thinking it, and you're being paranoid.

Lucas adds that paranoia is the quickest way to turn someone off, citing his eccentric ex-girlfriend Michelle as an example. He tells Chris to chill out and let Aidan be friends with who he wants.

Erinsborough Hospital
Aidan closes the blinds in the examination room as he prepares to take a blood sample from Andrew for the test he's organised. He says this is the last thing he's doing for him, and that if he wants more help he'll have to go through the proper channels. Aidan has put Andrew on the hospital records under the false name of Ben Anderson, and tells him the results will be in some time next week. Andrew says he appreciates it was a big ask, and thanks Aidan, before leaving.

Charlie's
Sonya and Callum decorate the corner they've booked with balloons for Jade's 'not-a-party', while Kate comes in and orders a latte from Tash. Sonya tells Kate the news about Jade going to LA for six months; and Kate seems surprised, as well as saddened that she hadn't heard about it. Kate asks Sonya to tell Jade she's really happy for her, and leaves.

Later, Sonya rings Toadie to find out if he's on his way, but he's been held up. Jade and Kyle arrive, and Jade is slightly perturbed to find that the 'one drink' has become a party populated by boot-campers. Jade explains she and Kyle were going to hang out together before she left, but Sonya insists they stay and say hello to the guests. Jade reassures Kyle that they won't have to stay long, then goes to join the party.

Later, after much present-opening, Kyle admits he'd organised something for Jade back at home, and she feels bad for having been sucked into Sonya's soiree. Kyle admits to Jade that he's not ready for her to leave, but she doesn't want to talk about it, saying she doesn't want to say goodbye until they have to. Happily, hitherto-unmentioned boot camp supercouple Nat and Craig arrive, giving Jade an excuse to creep off and talk to them instead of confronting her feelings.

Ramsay Street
Lucas is heading to Charlie's for Jade's farewell, and runs into Kate. She says she's fine with not being invited, but Lucas tells her that Jade's leaving tonight, and is about to ask Lucas to say goodbye for her - but then changes her mind. Lucas says Kate should say goodbye to Jade in person, but she doesn't want to make things worse. Lucas talks her into going, however.

Harold's
Aidan is having a coffee when Chris arrives. He's not in the mood for more aggro, but Chris says he doesn't want to fight: he's come to apologise, and says Aidan can be friends with whoever he wants. Now it's Aidan's turn to feel guilty, and he tells Chris that the time he's spending with Andrew isn't what he thinks it is. Chris says Aidan doesn't have to explain; but Aidan apologises and says that of course he and Chris are still friends. Chris asks if Aidan's coming to a party at Jake's, but Aidan says he has work stuff to take care of, and leaves.

Ramsay Street
A courier delivers Andrew's latest batch of epilepsy medication as Aidan approaches. The nurse is none too pleased to learn Andrew's still ordering meds online, and tells Andrew to take his condition more seriously. Aidan's upset that he's risking his job over this, and also says he needs to tell Chris the truth - especially after he broke up with Chris for being dishonest with him. Andrew's having none of it though, and tells Aidan that if he's really his friend, he'll do the right thing and keep quiet. Aidan points out that Andrew hasn't done 'the right thing' since the accident, and tells him he can't keep his secret anymore. But Andrew warns him that if anyone was to find out that Aidan had been giving him unofficial advice and doing blood tests for him on the sly, he'd lose his job.

AIDAN: Are you threatening me?
ANDREW: No. No I'm not. If nobody finds out about me I will never say anything about you.
AIDAN: You're not going to dob me in?
ANDREW: Just keep your mouth shut and I'll never have to.

Dismayed, Aidan walks away.

Charlie's
Sonya finally twigs that Kyle had made his own plans for Jade this evening, and feels guilty, encouraging Kyle to go and spend time with Jade before it's too late. Lucas and Kate arrive, and Kate bites the bullet and talks to Jade. The conversation is friendly but very awkward, as Kate apologises again for going after Kyle. She hates what it's done to their friendship, she says, and suggests that they could call one another when Jade leaves. Jade has moved on and isn't angry anymore, but says they both know they're never going to be best friends. Kate says she understands.

Kyle catches up with Jade again. He's disappointed they haven't spent much time together this evening, so Jade suggests they sneak off and enjoy the bubble-bath that Kyle bought earlier. It's too late for that, he says, but they agree to head home anyway - only to be stopped by Sonya, who's guarding the exit like a hormonal Cerberus, and wants to make a speech.

SONYA: I know that personal training started out as a way to earn money doing the thing that you love - yelling at people - but really, it's no surprise to me or anyone that knows you, that it's turned into so much more. And Jade is - she's the bravest, and the strongest, and the most loyal person that I've ever met. And if you're loved by Jade then you're loved for life. And we're all going to miss you so much, and I just don't know what I'm going to do without you!

Jade does her best to cheer up an emotional Sonya, as Kyle also looks emotional in the crowd. They all raise a toast to Jade.

Lassiter's Complex
Kyle prepares to drive Jade to the airport, but she's already called a cab - she doesn't want him to take her.

JADE: Kyle, can we please not do this right now?
KYLE: You can't push me away like this, Jade. Not on your last night. I want to be the last person you see before you leave.
JADE: No, I can't.
KYLE: Then you'd better have a bloody good reason why not.
JADE: Because I know you won't be able to handle it.

Jade doesn't want this to be a proper goodbye, as she'll be back in two weeks.

JADE: I really didn't want to make a big deal of this. Because it isn't. Because it's not goodbye. Okay?
KYLE: Okay.
JADE: I love you.
KYLE: I love you too.

They kiss as the cab pulls up. Jade promises she'll see him in a fortnight, as he goes to fetch the bags.

Monday on Neighbours
- Kyle and Jade talk to each other on a video- call; Kyle admits to Susan he misses Jade already
- Harley drops litter at school and won't pick it up when told, to Kate's disgust
- Ajay's late back from work, leaving Priya with a candlelit dinner for one - until Paul shows up
