No.30 (evening)
Sonya is upset that everyone has found out about her pregnancy - she wanted some time for her and Toadie to take the news in, particularly after the abuse she's done to her body in the past. She receives yet another message - this time from Susan, gushing about the baby.

TOADIE: They just want to share the joy, babe.
SONYA: I know, I just wish they'd wait!

She is worried about the first trimester and Toadie tries to reassure her. Sonya says it could be their only chance to have a baby, and she's feeling under a lot of pressure. Toadie tells her he'll get everyone to back off.

Charlie's, the following morning
Kate and Tash are both working. They are bickering about who will get the job and Celeste tells them that she'll have a decision by this afternoon - after the lunch shift.

Harold's Store
Toadie comes in and Kyle and Jade immediately jump on him with questions about Sonya.

Sonya's Nursery
Susan is giving Sonya some peppermint and ginger tea, and bombarding her wtih questions.

Harold's Store
Kyle and Jade are talking about baby names. Toadie asks them to tone things down a bit, as Sonya is still getting her head around things.

Sonya's Nursery
Sonya is telling Susan that she's worried about the risks in the first trimester. Susan just bangs on about how pregnanacy can the most amazing experience of Sonya's life.

Sonya finally relents and says she can see why everyone is so excited.

Harold's Store
Kyle and Jade agree not to talk to Sonya about the pregnancy.

Lassiter's
Sheila arrives and chats to Jade, saying she's come to spend some time with Kyle. Jade awkwardly invites her to have lunch, but Sheila says she knows Jade has clients to get to.

Charlie's
Tash spills a drink and doesn't bother to clean it up. Kate tells her off.

Just then, Sheila comes in and Kate shows her to a seat. She explains that she and Tash are competing for the same job.

Outside Charlie's
Tash asks Jade to order a load of food so she can beat Kate! Jade agrees, but only because she's hungry!

Charlie's
Sheila thinks Kate will have no problem beating Tash, but she could help things along by hitching her skirt up a bit(!)

Over a musical montage, Tash and Kate serve customers.

Susan comes in and Kate urges her to order a big slice of cake, but she says she'll just have a coffee.

Sonya's Nursery
Kyle is putting up a chicken run for Sonya, and she's a bit confused as to why he won't talk about her pregnancy.

Harold's Store
Sonya is confused that Jade doesn't want to talk about Sonya's pregnancy and moans about Sheila instead. Then Jade dashes off!

Charlie's
Celeste calls Kate and Tash over to tell them what she's decided about the job. Both girls have impressed her, but tells Tash that she's got the job (what, how?!)

On her way out, Kate tells Sheila that she didn't get the job and she's shocked! Sheila encourages Kate and tells her she has a lot to offer. So Kate goes back over to Celeste and asks for feedback. Celeste says she thought Kate was over-qualified for the job. She looks thoughtful and says she has a proposition for Kate.

Harold's Store
Kyle introduces Lou to Sheila. She immediately attacks him for trying to rip Kyle off.

LOU: It's water under the bridge!
SHEILA: Not my bridge!

She warns Lou in no uncertain terms that he'd better watch his step with her. He looks a bit scared and makes a sharp exit. Kyle asks Sheila to go easy on Lou - he's having a hard time financially at the moment.

Lassiter's
Lou is meeting Vera. He tells her that he had a great time at the wedding with her, then tells her that he lost his wallet. She is sympathetic and says she'll give him some money to help him out (she gives him $100). He goes on to explain that his rent money was in the wallet, so Vera says she'll cover that too - $350! She says she'll bring the money to the dance class this afternoon.

Sheila comes over and looks at Lou suspiciously as Vera heads off. Lou looks rather guilty.

Ramsay Street
Sheila asks Kyle how well he knows Lou. He says Lou is trustworthy, even though he's been in prison for fraud(!) Anyway, Kate does the books now.

No.30
Sonya comes in looking fed up and tells Toadie that Kyle and Jade are ignoring the subject of babies. Toadie explains that he asked them to back off for a bit. Sonya smiles in relief and tells Toadie that she's changed her mind - they should just enjoy telling everyone about the baby.

Charlie's
Tash gloats at Kate, but her face falls when Kate tells her that she's Tash's new boss! Celeste has given her the manager's job!

Kate goes over and tells Sheila and Kyle about her new job and thanks Sheila for her pep talk. Kyle hugs Kate and Sheila looks pleased to see this!

(Later)

Jade comes in and chats to Kate about her new boss. Sheila is a bit stand-offish with her.

When Kyle and Jade are off at the bar, Sheila asks Kate if she likes Kyle. She insists that Kate should fight for what she wants - like she did with the job.

SHEILA: Make up your mind, and go after it. No guts, no glory!

Kate looks thoughtful.

Tomorrow on Neighbours
- Sheila tells Kate that she and Kyle could have something.
- Rhys and Vanessa spend time together cooking. Lucas is rather jealous.
- Sheila confronts Vera about Lou.
