Rhys informs Toadie that his low sperm count could be the reason they're struggling to conceive.
Paul prepares to fly to Queensland to find Kate.
Kate is shocked to hear Sophie vandalised the school, but Sophie is angry at her sister leaving.
Sophie asks Susan to be her guardian if Kate doesn't return.
Kate realises she has to go home, as Sophie runs away.
As the phantom lawnmower is in full force, Susan arrives for Sophie's tutoring but quickly twigs that Sophie isn't about.
Susan spots Callum outside and enquires after Sophie. Callum thinks Soph may have done a runner with everything that's going on, and agrees to ask around at school.
Paul returns from Queensland having had no luck with Kate, and Susan admits she phoned Harry as it looks like Sophie has run away. Paul wonders why and is frustrated to learn Susan said no to Sophie asking her to become her guardian.
Toadie can't get his car to start, so calls work to organise a teleconference and heads back inside.
Sonya is surprised to see Toadie setting up his computer on the table. He informs her he'll have to work from home that morning.
Sonya wants to know if he's had a chance to read the papers she put out for him. He admits he hasn't had time yet and asks her to leave him alone to work.
Karl bumps into Sonya in the store and asks after Toadie. He informs Sonya that Toadie came to speak to him, and she admits he won't open up to her. Karl advises Sonya to give him time and help him find a way to relax. He leaves her stocking up on tuna (which may also help Toadie).
Erinsborough High School
Callum asks Rani if she knows where Sophie is. Mrs Patel arrives with Paul to ask the class if anyone has been in contact with Sophie, and to come forward. No one does, but Callum suspects Rani is hiding something.
Paul phones Andrew to see if he has found Sophie, with no luck. Susan suggests that it maybe time to call the police, but Paul is against the idea, with the DHS hearing the following day.
SUSAN: The DHS isn't a monster; they understand what kids are like. This is about Sophie's welfare; her safety.
PAUL: Yes and if the police were involved, Sophie's welfare would be taken out of our hands. Now we do this my way.
Susan realises there is nothing more she can say.
Callum catches up with Rani, as she heads home for lunch. Callum points out she was rather quiet in class when they were asked about Sophie. Rani claims she hasn't seen or heard from her in a few days, but Callum doesn't believe her.
RANI: Look, I told you, I don't know where she is alright.
CALLUM: I just want to find her. I'm worried.
Rani recieves a text message and is very coy about it, but insists to Callum that she has to go, and heads off leaving the poor boy very confused.
Sonya returns and is surprised to see Toadie still at home. On learning that he plans to work the remainder of the day at home, she sneaks out into the hallway. Toadie is curious to what his fiancée is up to and Sonya reappears, this time wearing a pair of boxers; House of Trouser style. She encourages him to join her and throws a set of undies in his direction; but he remains tense and insists he has to work. Sonya realises her tactic isn't working, and reluctantly leaves him alone again.
Callum has come by to visit Rani, and Mr Kapoor shows him to her room. Rani is surprised to see him at her house, but he informs her father they have a project to work on. With Mr Kapoor gone, Callum immediately starts snooping around her room and discovers Sophie hiding under the bed.
Callum is angry at Sophie for running away and getting Rani into trouble, but Sophie refuses to come home. Mr Kapoor calls from downstairs that they'll be late getting back to school, but Rani doesn't want to get busted, so suggests they argue (talk) after school, when both her parents are out. Callum tells Sophie to be there when they get back or he'll tell the adults what's been going on.
Rani and Callum head off to school, leaving Sophie alone. Lying on Rani's bed, she starts to cry.
Paul is determined to find Sophie, and starts phoning the parents of all the children in her class. Susan isn't sure about his tactics, and mentions calling in the police again.
PAUL: No, Sophie is not missing, we just don't know where she is that's all.
SUSAN: She could be in anywhere, she could be in danger.
Paul snaps that it doesn't matter, and besides Susan doesn't care anyway, following the guardianship discussion. Susan points out that Sophie only asked her because Kate isn't around.
SUSAN: She's a teenager Paul. Treating her like a child is what got us into this mess in the first place.
Paul can't cope anymore and yells at Susan to get her stuff and leave. He immediately realises he is helpless, and realising he has no other option; he picks up his phone and calls the police.
Toadie returns from a phone call to find Sonya has taken over the lounge; set the DVD player up and ordered in some pizza. She explains that she's ordered the pizza to help him remember a time when he was happy.
SONYA: Welcome back to the House of Trouser!
TOADIE: Sonya, it's not like I don't appreciate all the effort you're putting in...
SONYA: No, no, it's pants of Tuesday, and it's Hawaiian (shirt) Tuesday, so come on....
TOADIE: Sonya, stop. I understand what you're trying to do here, but forcing the whole baby issue...
SONYA: No, just forget about babies, and forget about conception calendars, and fertility tests and everything else. Today (softly), I want you to relax.
TOADIE (softly): And you really reckon that some DVDs and pizza are going to do the trick do you?
Sonya does, and mentioning that an Ace Ventura marathon is on the agenda, Toadie finally lets down his barriers, smiles and kisses his girlfriend.
One Ace Ventura film later and Toadie has embraced the old House of Trouser pizza eating. Karl pops by to see how they are and Sonya reassures him that things are going just fine, so he leaves them to it. Toadie requests to Sonya that they keep everything in house from now on.
SONYA: I've got you in boxer shorts and a smile on your dial. My work here is done.
Callum and Rani arrive back from school. Callum warns his mate that everyone is looking for her so she has to come home. Sophie however refuses to return to the street and plans to on head to Sydney to be with Harry. Callum warns her that they've already called Harry so the best thing she can do is come home.
SOPHIE: I don't care. I can't let them take me into foster care.
CALLUM: Well they might, if you don't go home.
Callum reminds her that Kate will be there for her. We see him secretly typing an e- mail to Kate from Sophie's account asking her to return. Sophie however doesn't believe that Kate will come back for her. Rani offers Sophie her room for as long as she wants, but admits she agrees with Callum.
CALLUM: They're still going to have that meeting whether you are there or not.
CALLUM: So do you want to leave it to them to decide where you live? You've got to go back and stick up for yourself.
Kapoor House/ Number 22
