Number 26
Lucas calls calling round to see if anyone's seen Kate because he thinks she's done a runner to some beach. They haven't seen her but Jade mentions that Kate said she was planning on going travelling although adds she didn't think she was serious. Kyle asks if Paul knows but apparently he's in Sydney on business. Before leaving, Lucas asks to be informed if she does contact any of them.

(Later)

Realising that nobody's been watering the plants, Jade lays down the law to Kyle and Rhys that one of them will need to do it as she does enough around the house already. Rhys terminates the meeting after telling Kyle to agree to it because he knows he'll do so eventually!

Beach somewhere
The stranger Lucas talked to in the last episode looks through the photos on Kate's phone. He seems quite taken with the pics of Kate! Mr Stranger puts the phone into his pocket and walks away from the beach just as Kate appears looking for her phone. She asks some of the random folk lying sunbathing but nobody knows where it is.

Dougies
But we now know where Kate is - with Erin in Dougies backpackers resort, Port Douglas! Erin is ill and is stick in her bed when Kate returns looking for her phone and borrows Erin's so she can call her own. Luckily Mr Stranger does answer the phone and they eventually agree to meet at some surf place to return the phone... that is once Mr Stranger is finished with the police after getting a ticket for riding one whilst using a mobile phone!!!

Number 24
Lucas and Michael chat about Kate doing a runner whilst cooling off watching the cricket with a beer. Emilia calls round and feels she is interrupting but is assured she isn't. Lucas hands her a key to the house and is rewarded with a kiss and Michael quickly makes his excuses to leave. The sudden bailing puzzles Lucas but Emilia tries to make it seem not a big deal.

Harold's Store
Michael joins Tash and Chris for some drinks and uses the meeting with them to get out going to meet Priya when she calls wanting to see him. Tash tries to quiz him on what she was after but he keeps quiet, so she remarks that he could call his girlfriend. Michael points out there isn't one and she reaffirms that the next time won't be like what has happened in the past.

Number 26
"I knew you'd cave," Jade calls out when she comes into the kitchen and sees Kyle watering the weeds... or what was once plants! Sprung, he quickly backtracks and says he was just getting a drink but she doesn't believe him. The pair of them have a domestic over what Jade perceives to be as him being pushed around "and then running after them the minute they come calling." Kyle doesn't see it that way, he's just backing up his mates, but Jade reiterates he's caving in citing the fact watered the plants after swearing that he wouldn't!

Port Douglas
Mr Stranger sits patiently waiting for Kate to appear at the beach while she tries to find the place... and just as she gets there he's left!

Dougies
A miffed Kate returns back to her room and Erin gloats that she was right - the stranger was never going to return the phone. Erin suggests that it might be a blessing - she's now going to be able to totally get away from what is happening in Erinsborough since they can't contact her! Kate is now in tune with what Erin has said and suggests they head out.

Port Douglas
The ladies head out to some bar, which rather looks a bit like the Lassiters Complex it has to be said! Erin makes a toast to their trip beginning now and just as they do that, Mr Stranger calls to give Kate another chance to retrieve her own phone. He sets a new venue for them to meet at and Kate heads off to meet him.

Charlie's
Emilia spots Tash at the bar collecting a food order when she goes up to get fresh drinks for Lucas and herself. She confides in her aunt that she thinks her dad is seeing someone in secret (and thus using the excuse of having to go to the school as a cover). Emilia is shocked and worms it out of Tash why she thinks her dad is dating. "He's happy," she replies which is strange for him and mentions Michael asking her about him dating again, and tries to see if Emilia knows anything. "As if he'd tell me," Emilia jokes and Tash buys it and asks her aunt to let her know if she hears of anything happening.

EMILIA: You'll be the first to know.

Number 26
Jade returns home from a run and spots that the kitchen is potless - Kyle decided to throw them out (a sensible decision given they were on life support!) and will buy new ones prior to the next inspection given their lease agreement. She doesn't seem to like this assertive Kyle!

Dial a Kyle
Rhys leaves Kyle to it after they arrive in the Ute at his yard (Rhys was driving). Turns out that Kyle didn't throw the plants out; he's taken them to his yard for some TLC with some assistance from a couple of books on caring for indoor plants. Aww the big softie!

Rydges Hotel, Port Douglas
Kate and Mr Stranger finally meet up. He is most impressed at seeing her in the flesh and we finally get to know his name when they do the intros. Before he hands over the phone, Dominic asks Kate to have dinner with him. "You've got to be joking," she replies and goes to grab the phone but unfortunately it ends up in the pool they are standing right beside! Oops!! Dominic apologises profusely but Kate stomps off annoyed at the phone being destroyed.

School
Michael is surprised to see Emilia arrive - she is after some honest answers from him! "I think I deserve it," she adds. Michael closes the classroom door and signals for Emilia to ask away, although he says to her that he's unsure what he wants her to say.

EMILIA: You really don't know?!
MICHAEL: ...
EMILIA: Do you have any idea what the last couple of weeks have been like for me?
MICHAEL: ...
EMILIA: When you took me surfing?
MICHAEL: ...
EMILIA: And I sat in your car for the first time since Helena died.
MICHAEL: ...
EMILIA: It's still there Michael.
MICHAEL: ...
EMILIA: What we had, I know it is.
MICHAEL: ...
EMILIA: And you know it is too.
MICHAEL: You're with Lucas.
EMILIA: I know.
MICHAEL: And this makes it...
EMILIA: Complicated.
MICHAEL: It's impossible. (Pause) Do you love him?
EMILIA: I don't know what I feel about Lucas but I know what is happening with us.
MICHAEL: You're with Lucas.
EMILIA: Michael, look, we're not kids any more okay. This isn't Romeo and Juliet. We have this connection but we're both old enough to know that life doesn't work like that. There are no guarantees. So, yeah, I'm with Lucas.

Although she is saying that she is with Lucas, she is looking deeply into Michael's eyes and he's staring back just as deeply back into hers before he stands up and they begin pashing! After a few seconds pashing, Emilia breaks the kiss but continues to look deeply into his eyes, almost mentally tossing a coin trying to decide who she wants to be with.

- Sophie asking to help in the video production... then going ballistic!
- Kate and Dominic running into each other.
