Andrew and Summer bump into Corey who is having trouble with the lock on his bike. Andrew asks if Corey's got in contact with Sophie to which he replies that her dad was pretty mad and that he had left his phone at home anyway. Andrew reassures him, telling him that Paul is her uncle and he's not that bad anyway. Andrew's manipulative tendencies are clear to see, as he even gives Corey his mobile to phone Sophie, telling him there's plenty of credit on it.

Lucas is asking Chris whether he thinks Emilia would like to be taken to the lake tomorrow for a barbeque. Chris doesn't seem in the mood to be giving advice on romance, joking that things seem to be getting serious between the pair because Lucas never talks about anything else anymore. Lucas refuses to believe that he only talks about Emilia, while pointing out that Chris never talks about his love life, to which he replies that he doesn't have one.
Talk about fate - Aidan pulls up at this very moment, could this be an indication of what lies ahead? Aidan explains to Lucas that his car is over- heating and the gage is now in the red. Chris emerges from the shadows of the garage.
CHRIS: Aidan, hi!
AIDAN: Hey, Chris. You're looking good.
CHRIS: (awkward) Thanks. Well thanks to you guys.
AIDAN: (at Lucas) I can wait, if you can look at it now...
LUCAS: (unsure) Err, yeah sure, Chris, why don't you take a look at it. It's overheating.
CHRIS: Yeah, cool.
Lucas watches on as a clearly love- struck Aidan witnesses Chris leaning in the car to pop the bonnet.
Harold's Store
Sonya is double- checking whether Susan wants to join her and Toadie today but Susan is adamant that she doesn't want to get in the way. Meanwhile, Andrew appears to be boring Summer with his promotional campaign for Red Cotton, despite not even being their actual manager yet. Summer is concerned about Andrew's motives. She thinks his ideas are great, but doesn't see why he has to use Corey like he is. Andrew replies that he's doing nothing wrong - Sophie gets the boy of her dreams, and he gets to manage a band.
Ramsay Street
Andrew and Summer are continuing their discussion about Andrew's manipulative behaviour. Summer worries what will happen if Sophie gets caught out by Paul, while wondering how she'd feel if she finds out that Andrew's using her boyfriend. Andrew's convinced that Sophie won't find out. Arriving home, Andrew finds Corey waiting for Sophie outside again. He advises that it may be a better idea not to wait outside the front door next time, causing Corey to ask if Paul is home. Sophie comes out to find a keen Corey asking if she'd like to go to the lake. The pair head off after Corey and Sophie tell Andrew that they owe him one.
ANDREW: (mocking) Ah, young love, hey?
SUMMER: Yeah, like you care.
ANDREW: Of course I care Summer, I am a very caring kind of guy.

Chris has just finished working on Aidan's car, to which Aidan asks how much it will cost. Lucas is happy not to charge Aidan for the work considering he helped Chris at hospital. Aidan obviously feels bad as he then suggests he gets lunch for the pair. Lucas, clearly aware of Aidan's interest in Chris, suggests that Chris go with him as someone has to hold the fort at the garage. An oblivious Chris suggests that Lucas has his mobile should anyone need to contact him. Aidan suggests Charlie's before Lucas asks whether he really doesn't mind him coming too. Aidan says he's the one who invited Lucas to which Lucas replies that it will be more expensive with three people, his body language clearly revealing that he doesn't want to get in the way of Chris and Aidan's budding romance.
Charlie's
The scene begins with Chris and Aidan huddled together discussing the menu, while Lucas, seemingly alone on the other side, joins in the conversation. Trying to figure out whether Aidan is gay, he asks if he likes a pub lunch or would prefer something a bit fancier. Aidan remarks that he can't see the point in fancy food, to which Chris replies that Charlie's isn't really a traditional Aussie pub anyway. Aidan agrees, pointing out that the decor is quite unique.
LUCAS: Do you like interior design?
AIDAN: What?
CHRIS: Why are we talking about interior design?
LUCAS: (defensive) Some people like it!
CHRIS: Well do you like it?
LUCAS: No.
CHRIS: Then shut up!
LUCAS: See the way he talks to me Aidan! I don't know why I hired him.
AIDAN: Oh I don't know, he seems to know his stuff.
Lucas looks even more convinced that Aidan is interested in Chris.
LUCAS: So, what kind of music are you into?
AIDAN: Oh, loads of different stuff.
LUCAS: Hey, did you hear the latest Lady Gaga?
AIDAN: Yeah, but, I didn't pick you as a Gaga fan.
LUCAS: Yeah, she's awesome.
AIDAN: Well I prefer heavier, kind of vintage rock, ACDC, that kind of thing.
LUCAS: Right.
AIDAN: Well there's this great dance mix of Back in Black.
Lucas looks pleased with himself which makes Chris head off to the bar to make his order. Aidan orders the Chicken Stir- fry which causes Lucas to ask whether Aidan is watching his weight. Aidan replies that it's important to watch your weight. Lucas is clearly enjoying himself while Chris's stare clearly indicates his disapproval of Lucas's behaviour.
Charlie's
Lucas thanks Aidan for the meal at Charlie's before Tash enters the bar which he sees as an opportunity to suss out Aidan once and for all. He heads off to the bar to 'get a round in' asking Tash for her help. Tash says she already knows Aidan to which Lucas asks if she knows him that well. Unfortunately Tash's gaydar is 'on the blink' and she can't tell if Aidan is interested in Chris. After all, she had thought someone was interested in Chris before when it actually turned out he was straight. It doesn't take long for Tash to become her usual shameless self, walking up to Aidan and asking him flat out if he is gay or straight. Aidan reveals he is gay, asking Lucas if he has a problem with that.
CHRIS: What, you reckon every gay guy likes Lady Gaga?
AIDAN: No, no, fair play, most of them do.
LUCAS: I've said sorry a million times, what do you guys want, blood?
Chris jokes that he'll have Lucas' ice cream instead. To Chris' shock his dad enters Charlie's. George wonders how they run a business if they just go to Charlie's all the time for ice cream. George introduces himself to Aidan, and admits he thinks he's seen him somewhere before. Aidan tells him that he's a nurse at the hospital, which jogs George's memory that he actually nursed Chris. George insists that he buys Aidan a drink, Chris clearly being uncomfortable with the idea, but convinced by his father to stay for ten minutes.
Charlie's
George is chatting to Aidan about his responsibilities at the hospital before asking how Chris and Lucas got on with fixing his car. Aidan replies that they'd done great, but says that he'd been meaning to do it for ages but usually bikes to work so hadn't needed to. George is surprised as he hasn't ridden a bike for years. George is left shocked when Aidan says that his ex was really into it.
AIDAN: Yeah, he was totally into it. He used to race and stuff.
George suddenly remembers that he has an 'appointment' when he finds out that Aidan is gay, and hastily exits Charlie's.
Number 30
Susan is doing her usual motherly thing - this time the washing. Toadie asks Sonya if she fancies hanging out together, maybe watching a movie or something, but Sonya has other ideas - she wants to go and check on Jade. After everything that's happened between her and Toadie lately she feels like she's neglected her relationship with Jade and wants to see what the state of play is between Jade and Kyle. Toadie agrees to let Sonya have some sister time, saying he might go over to Karl's to watch the cricket on his new big TV.
Number 26
Kyle is watching the cricket with Jade. He tells her that there's a community picnic at the lake tomorrow but she seems less than excited by the thought of it. Kyle manages to convince her after reminding Jade that they'd already talked about her overcoming her relationship issues. Jade answers the door to an enthusiastic Sonya, who wants some girl time with her sister. Jade indicates that she's not in the mood for girly chats, so Sonya suggests that her and Kyle come over for a barbecue with her and Toadie. Jade reluctantly agrees seeing as there's not much food in the fridge.
Harold's Store
Chris is still embarrassed by the day's events but Tash reminds him that he can date Aidan now they know he's gay. Tash is not convinced by Chris attempts to claim that he's not interested in Aidan, thinking it's been obvious for a while. She doesn't understand why Chris is so miserable and he reassures her that it's not her, it's just that things were going so well with his dad but as soon as George found out about Aidan, things became weird again. George calls Chris, asking him to meet him back at the garage.
Garage
Chris is looking miserable as Lucas heads out on a job. George arrives with his dad's old car - the one he'd promised Chris could work on if he did a good job on the Holden. George tells Chris that he did a good job, clearly proud of his son - an indication that he perhaps regrets his earlier behaviour at Charlie's. Chris says it would be easier with two people so the pair crack on with work on the car.
Number 30
Toadie arrives home with ingredients for the barbeque, eager to watch the cricket but Sonya turns the TV off, telling him he can record it and watch it later. Jade and Kyle arrive and Toadie calls Kyle to help with 'preparing the food' but the pair sneak off to watch the cricket on Toadie's mobile.
Garage
Chris and George have just finished working on the car and George heads inside the garage to find a cloth. Meanwhile, Aidan pulls up at the garage. Aidan asks how things are going, to which Chris replies that things are pretty busy. Aidan tells Chris that he doesn't want to hold him up.
AIDAN: I was just wondering if you wanna go for a drink sometime.
CHRIS: (looks in the direction of his dad) Uh...a drink?
AIDAN: Yeah, just you and me, if you're up for it.
CHRIS: Uh, I'd love to...
AIDAN: (interrupting) Great!
CHRIS: But I've got a lot of other things to focus on right now.
AIDAN: Ok.
CHRIS: Sorry.
AIDAN: No, no. I mean, you don't know, if you don't ask, right?
Aidan tells Chris that he'll see him around and departs. Chris and his dad start up the vehicle they've been working on, Chris seeming happy to have some bonding time with his father.
Number 30
Toadie and Kyle are still watching cricket in the other room. Jade thinks Sonya is being weird when she tells her that she's just enjoying spending time with her sister. Sonya admits that she feels like the pair might have missed out on a lot of important stuff during the years they weren't in contact. She admits that she feels like there's still a lot she doesn't know about Jade's life, including the boyfriend she had during that time. Jade is shocked that Sonya knows, but Sonya reassures her that it's normal to feel apprehensive about getting into a new relationship after the turmoil of a past one. Jade asks if Kyle is the one who told her about this previous boyfriend which leaves her extremely annoyed.
Number 30
Kyle, Jade, Toadie and Sonya are tucking into their food. Kyle is loving the food and gives Jade some to try. She tells him she doesn't want any and Kyle asks what's wrong. She then claims to have a stomach ache as an excuse to leave. Toadie seems secretly happy as he sneakily puts the cricket back on TV.
Number 26
Kyle follows Jade into the living room, asking what's wrong. She tells him that she can't believe he told Sonya about her ex and that it was private. He defends himself by saying that he didn't go into details but Jade argues that that it is not the point. She feels like he's broken her trust. Jade heads to her bedroom to be alone.
