- Chris getting bashed at the garage
- Rhys wanting Chris to stay in hospital until they get the results of his scans.
- Chris discharging himself.

- Karl and Susan getting stuck in the storage container.
- Karl and Susan kissing, Karl hoping it means a fresh start, Susan deciding to move out.
Storage Container
Karl gets frustrated trying to take the projector apart, saying he ought to have thrown it out years ago. He paces around the container before trying to shout for help again. He bangs violently on the door and Susan tries to calm him.
KARL: You want out too!
He continues banging, but Susan is concerned he'll hurt himself. He says he'll be fine when he gets out.
Charlie's
Sonya thanks the guests for coming and Toadie for wearing the Santa suit. She has something in mind for how she's going to thank him, but first they need to clean. Toadie makes his excuses by saying he has to return the lights to the shed.
The teens come in and Summer is on edge about VCE results. She wants a really unwell looking Chris to check his phone to see if he got his results yet, but he's left his phone at the garage. Andrew asks what happened to his face and he replies that he walked into a door. To escape the inquisition Chris gingerly gets up to get burgers for them, but unfortunately for him, he bumps into Rhys who wants to know what he's doing there instead of taking it easy. Chris lies that he got his test results and they were all clear.
RHYS: Chris, you copped a pretty hefty beating, you have to take this seriously.
Chris tells him he just wants to forget it happened and walks away.
Storage Container
Karl is still banging on the walls and shouting and sweating profusely- how else will anyone find them there?
SUSAN: OH FOR GOODNESS SAKE JUST STOP IT!
KARL: WILL SOMEONE JUST OPEN THE DAMNED DOOR!
SUSAN: (shrilly) STOP IT!
Karl thinks he can hear something - it's Toadie come back to his car which is no longer blocked. He jumps in and reverses to let them out. When he realises Karl and Susan were in there he starts apologising profusely, he didn't realise there was anyone inside. Karl stalks off to his own car, leaving Susan standing helpless.
Charlie's
Tash nearly spills her drink on Summer's phone, much to Summer's horror. Results were supposed to start coming through 10 minutes ago. Just then Summer receives a text - it's her results, she got 99! Everyone congratulates her.
ANDREW: I'm so proud of you, after everything that's happened this year, you deserve this. You made this happen.
MICHAEL: ...because you cheated. Any results Summer receives are void.
Oh no! It's dream Michael. This is all a dream...which means we're going to have to sit through more VCE results tension.
So, Tash nearly spills her drink on Summer's phone (tell me, will this déją vu never end?). Chris is back to looking seriously unhealthy, which he didn't in Summer's dream, suggesting she hasn't noticed her friend is acting strangely. Michael walks in and Summer stresses out even more.
SUMMER: Why is your dad here?
TASH: I invited him. I'm kidding!
He asks if they've had their results yet and reassures Summer that she's worked really hard and she'll be fine. Chris and Tash go to get more food leaving Andrew to assure Summer that Michael doesn't remember that she cheated.
ANDREW: And he's right, you do deserve a good mark.
SUMMER: But I cheated.
ANDREW: Not when it counts. Whatever mark you get, it's all you.
Number 24
Lucas comes into the house, grabs a laptop and sits down to look at the CCTV footage. Just then Emilia arrives and sits down to watch with him. She spots a guy getting out of a white car and Lucas doesn't know who it is. When he comes back out of the garage, Lucas pauses the tape so they can get a good look at his face. It isn't a customer he recognises, but it might be another disgruntled development employee...or the same one back again. Lucas goes back to see if the man has been to the garage before. Emilia thought the guy who sabotaged the garage had been sacked but Lucas doesn't know what to believe anymore.
Peter Noonan's Law Firm
Lucas asks the receptionist if he can see Peter Noonan, but Mr Noonan doesn't have time to see him so clearly he doesn't think Lucas is there to sell the land. Lucas is willing to wait. The receptionist tells him he's tied up for the rest of the day, but Lucas is willing to wait until the end of the day.
Harold's /Number 28
Toadie apologises again to Susan for locking her and Karl in the container. Susan wonders whether it was a blessing in disguise - at least it got everything out in the open.
Karl arrives home and pours himself a glass of water.
SUSAN: It's been so exhausting pretending everything is just the same, when it's not. It's completely different.
TOADIE: So what now?
SUSAN: Well I can't go home, I know that much. I thought he understood.
Karl wearily leans on the kitchen counter and looks down at his wedding ring. Trying to swallow tears he shakily takes the ring off his finger.
Toadie asks where Susan will go, which she hadn't given much thought to. She says she'll book into a hotel for the time being. She can't hold on until she finds somewhere else, it wouldn't be fair to Karl.
Karl puts the ring in his pocket and valiantly holds back a break down.
Susan tells Toadie not to worry, they'll be fine. He offers to get her another cuppa and while he's away Susan slowly takes her ring off her finger too. She surprises herself with the wave of emotion that sweeps over her as she fully removes it and tears prick her eyes.
Number 28
The teens burst in still waiting for exam results, startling Karl a little. He hurries past them to disguise his emotion and tells them to keep him posted on the results front, he needs to get dressed for work. Summer wonders if Karl is ok, but the others haven't noticed anything. They all put their mobiles onto the table. A message comes through and Summer picks up the phone and laments that she only got 85.
SUMMER: I knew it, I am not going to get into journalism. That is a terrible score!
ANDREW: It's my score.
SUMMER: What?
ANDREW: This is my phone.
SUMMER: Oh! Thank god for that!
TASH: Nice.
Summer falls over herself trying to apologise and take back what she said about 85 being a terrible score, but Andrew doesn't mind. He gets into business which is good, so he's stoked. While Andrew and Summer smooch, Tash wants to know what is up with Chris, but he maintains that he is fine.
Like. Whatever.
City Law Firm
Lucas and Emilia are still waiting, which Lucas thinks is ridiculous considering how Peter has been chasing him all over Erinsborough for months. Now didn't I say that earlier? Lucas tries to sweet talk the receptionist into trying to get through to Noonan again, but she reminds him that he's a very busy man. Lucas decides there's no point in hanging around, but as they leave to think up another plan, Lucas walks straight into the guy from the CCTV footage. The receptionist tells him that Peter is expecting him.
LUCAS: That's the guy from the footage.
EMILIA: What's he doing here?
LUCAS: I don't know.
DUH! He just told the receptionist he's there to see Peter. Doesn't take a rocket scientist, guys.

Number 30
Sonya asks for Callum's opinion on colours for "the room", Cal is fairly noncommittal in his response but shows her a plan for the games room. A mobile phone goes off but it is ignored. Sonya is intrigued what has given him the idea that the room will be a games room. Callum suggests it could also be a study, because it is apparently unhealthy for teenagers to sleep and work in the same room. Sonya wonders where the baby will sleep.
CALLUM: What baby? Ohhh, that baby. That's going to sleep with you and dad!
SONYA: No no no, it needs a nursery.
Callum protests that a baby won't come for ages and in the meantime it's just wasted space. Toadie comes home at that point with Susan in tow. Sonya doesn't seem to have noticed Susan and wants Toad to settle the dispute about what the spare room will be used for. She suddenly sees Susan and Susan sort of but not really explains her and Karl's absence at the party.
SUSAN: Yeah, we just had a couple of things to sort through...that we're still sorting through, really.
TOADIE: Which is why I've asked Susan to move in with us.
Ah, Sonya wasn't expecting that.
Number 28
Karl leaves for work with instructions for them to text him with any results news. Tash watches Chris and wonders what Lucas does to him - he's a wreck already! Another phone goes off. It's Summer's. She got 94, which is enough to get into journalism. Andrew thinks they should go and celebrate, but Tash and Chris haven't got their scores yet. Tash doesn't care because it's not about the course, it's about the parties, but Summer can't celebrate until they all have their results so she sends Chris off to get his phone.
Number 30
Sonya has made up the spare bed and Toadie assures her that she's a very welcome guest. Susan sees that Karl's car has gone, so she decides it's a good time to duck over to number 28 to get some things. Toadie thanks Sonya for being so good about it all, when he heard about what happened with Karl and Susan, he didn't feel like he could turn her away. Sonya wants to know where it leaves them with the baby plans.
TOADIE: Ah, nothing is going to stop that. NOTHING is going to stop that.
Sonya doesn't seem as in the mood. Toadie tells her it won't be forever, Susan just needs a bit of support to make the break and everything is going so well for them at the moment that some time in the near future they will have a baby.
TOADIE: This is our yeah, babe.
WELL, he might as well have said "we've got all the time in the world."
City Law Firm
Lucas and Emilia are back, and they've got the police in tow. Ah, such a shame Brenno is no longer around, or Steiger. Or Stu. The officers are shown to the board room and Peter asks Lucas what's going on. Lucas tells him that the guy who was in before broke into his garage and bashed Chris (as if Peter Noonan knows who Chris is).
LUCAS: You told me he was working alone. That he was sacked.
PETER: Well that's what I was told by my clients.
LUCAS: So what did he want with you?
PETER: I'm not at liberty to...
LUCAS: It's you! He doesn't work for the developers at all. You'll go down for this!
Hosptial
Karl arrives to take over from Rhys and get stuck in straight away. Aidan wants to speak to Rhys before he clocks off, he's got Chris's X- rays which nobody has looked at.
RHYS: Chris told me he rang in.
AIDAN: No, no, you need to look at these!
Garage
Chris opens up the garage with great difficulty and an not insignificant amount of pain.
Hospital
Rhys commends Aidan on spotting a cracked rib.
AIDAN: Yeah, it could puncture the lung at any time.
Rhys tells Aidan to call him, they need to get him in quickly.
Garage
As Chris stumbles across the garage to his phone and falls to the ground, it looks like the rib has already done it's worst.
Don't you just love a phone ringing with no answer cliff hanger? Tune in next year to hear the voicemail...
2012 Preview (shown in New Zealand)
MVO: In 2011 one brutal crime shocked Ramsay Street.
(Rhys finds Chris)
RHYS: I need an ambulance.
SUMMER: What's happened? Is he ok?
FVO: But 2012 will leave you gobsmacked.
(Shot of Chris in hospital)
LUCAS: (to Toadie) Chris has been bashed and the guy who was put up to it works for your boss.
TOADIE: I think Peter's trying to frame me.
(A skirmish outside the police station)
TOADIE: You tell them I had nothing to do with this! You scumbag!
SONYA: There's no smoke without fire...
SUSAN: (to Kyle) You don't honestly think that Toadie would be capable of that do you?
MVO: In 2012 it's no more Mr Nice Guy.
TOADIE: (To Paul) I need an alibi.
PAUL: So what's in it for me then?
