Toadie questions Peter about Lucas' break- in and how the items taken were those necessary to pass a safety inspection. Peter quickly shuts him down and denies all knowledge, but he promises to look into it because he doesn't want any more bad rumours.

Rhys has come in for a coffee because the coffee at the hospital still sucks. He checks how things are with Kyle and Jade regarding their old housemate Brennan, and he offers to have a house day since things have been a bit tense.
Toadie comes in to talk to Lucas and assures him that Peter will look into it. Lucas is unconvinced that the Hamilton Group is not behind the harassment and he makes it clear that he won't be intimidated into selling.

Andrew and Chris get out of the Pickle Mobile and are all hot and sweaty because Mr Pickles doesn't have air con. Chris can tell that Andrew has no idea how to get out of the mess he's in with his tattoo because Andrew has no intention of telling Summer. Summer runs up and welcomes Andrew home and Chris finds Andrew's situation extremely hilarious.

Chris is welcomed back by Lucas just as Kyle and Dane head off. Lucas finds a gay pride sticker in the car and offers to put it up on the wall but Chris brushes it off and says that Andrew just grabbed it as a joke.
Number 28
Summer goes to hug Andrew and he tries his very best to stop her from pressing onto his very sore tattoo. He leaves to take a shower but Summer would rather he take one at number 28...but Andrew is not keen.
ANDREW: I'd much rather just take one at home. You know, we've got great water pressure over there.
Summer is very confused at the standoffishness.

Lucas is filling Chris in on the development situation and he asks how Chris went on his exams. Chris assures him that he did indeed study for them but the results aren't out yet; Lucas tells Chris that his cut hours at the garage were only during the exam period - he'd love to have Chris around as many hours as he wants now that the exams are over.
Number 22
Andrew is feeling up his tat when he's surprised by Summer bearing food and some DVDs. He quickly puts his shirt on and he tells Sum that there are no real good stories from schoolies - no parties at all; they just hung out. Summer is mega suss. So she does what any sensible person (not) would do and snoops through the photos on Andrew's phone. She comes across a few photos of Andrew with a blonde girl...
The food is plated up and Summer is trying to suss him out and he's quite confused, so she confronts him with the photos of him and some girl and yells at him. Finally he confesses to doing something stupid and shows her the tattoo and lies that it says "Summer". She thinks he's an idiot but acknowledges that it's sweet...and then she takes a picture to put on facebook and Andrew looks concerned.

Chris looks through the client list for the day and sees the name Burrell.
LUCAS: Mate, it won't be like last time.
CHRIS: Yeah, maybe he'll be racist instead of homophobic.
Chris offers to leave early but Lucas is adamant that he doesn't have to go anywhere and to further his support; he grabs the gay pride sticker and puts it up on the wall next to a Saints Fans sticker. Chris jokes that he can't get behind that one!
Number 28
Sum is happily staring at the photo of the tattoo when Rhys comes over looking for Susan, but she's at work.
RHYS: Actually, I'm after a big baking dish.
SUMMER: Right, well Susan's pretty attached to her cookware...
Rhys promises he'll have it back in one piece. He sees the picture of that tattoo and he comments that even though high school was a while ago, he remembers the seasons and that tattoo definitely is not summer.
Number 22
Summer confronts Andrew with the actual word for summer. He initially tries to claim that his tattoo does say summer but he finally tells the truth: he wrote her name on the back of the old business card of the guy who owned the car, and the guy at the tattoo parlour must have read the wrong side. Summer is very amused and teasingly calls him Pickles over and over again.

Lucas and Chris are buying lunch when Peter Noonan and Toadie come looking for Lucas. Peter tells him that an overzealous foreman sabotaged Lucas to secure his own job at the development. The guy in question has since been sacked.
LUCAS: And you came all the way up here from your fancy office to tell me that?
Toad expresses that Hamilton Group have denied knowledge of wrongdoing and do not support the low- level employee's actions. Peter apologises on behalf of Hamilton Group and Simmons and Colbert and they agree to cover all costs. Lucas thanks Toad who returns the favour by asking if he wants to sell.

Mr Burrell arrives and it's actually the son, Blake Burrell. Blake points to the sticker and calls it "brave" - but he's actually referring to the Saints sticker and not the gay pride one. Talk turns to footy as Blake is filling in the form and it's perfectly civil to Chris' surprise.
Later, Blake returns for the car - with his father, Warren. He comments that business wouldn't be helped by the sticker...and he's actually pointing to the gay pride one.
WARREN: Rainbow brigade got you, have they? Political correctness gone mad if you ask me.
LUCAS: Yeah, well I didn't.
WARREN: No one wants a fairy fixing their car, do they?
Lucas warns him that he should stop but Warren keeps going until finally Lucas shuts him up. Warren is annoyed that he can't tell "jokes" anymore but Chris firmly speaks up that he is gay and he finds the jokes offensive. Lucas backs him and Warren threatens to take his business elsewhere before driving off.

Toadie is looking at the development plans when Peter Noonan comes to tell him that the development is taking longer than expected. Toadie looks concerned and even more so when Peter mentions that he had to make a decision on whether to keep Toadie on at the firm. He's surprised when Peter offers him a permanent position and drinks are poured. Toadie hesitates.
PETER: What?
TOADIE: Well, without wanting to shoot myself in the foot, I'm a little surprised that I still got the offer given everything that's happened today.
PETER: That's what made my decision easy. You came to me with your concerns when it would have been easier to ignore them. A lot of people wouldn't have wanted to know about that sort of problem. I was impressed. It's that quality that I'm after to keep this firm a cut above the rest.
TOADIE: I haven't got Lucas to sell yet.
PETER: Yeah...but you will.
Ominous.

Chris apologises for Lucas losing a customer but Lucas apologises in return for not backing him earlier. They drive off and we see someone watching them from a nearby phone booth...
