Ramsay Street
Toadie collects today's 'Erinsborough News' from the garden. He reads an ad for a Community Meeting about the development. He says 'Morning' to Michael as he collects his paper. Michael waves and goes back inside. Toadie sees all the papers lying in front of the Ramsay houses.

In a musical montage, Michael takes out a black book containing a photograph of him, his wife, and baby Tash at the beach. He also takes a small brown box and puts them both in a bag.
Tash enters. Michael says he's off to see his mate Ritchie at the usual place for their yearly surfing get together. Michael asks Tash how her ears are, she says she's fine and gives him a hug, wishing him well on his trip.
Harold's
Andrew and Paul sit down for breakfast, Andrew complains about having to bring his car this morning, but Paul says it'll help him get used to the car. Paul notices the ad about the meeting in the paper (surely being the editor he would have seen it before now.) Andrew says it should be good for the community, but Paul isn't convinced.
ANDREW: Should we be worried about it all then?
PAUL: These developments always sell themselves as something for everyone. It's never as simple as that, someone always loses out.
Charlie's
Paul reads the confidential plans for the development. He calls Ron and thanks him for getting him the plans, asking him what he knows about a proposed hotel with the development, which will be in direct competition with Lassiter's.
The Beach
Michael stares out to sea, holding the brown box, and kisses it.
Number 32
Tash is on the sofa with her laptop, Summer enters and busts her for checking facebook when she's supposed to be studying poetry. Tash starts to hear sea noises again. Summer's concerned but Tash says it's nothing to worry about. Tash agrees she should see a doctor.
Hospital
Summer asks Tash about her symptoms while checking online with her phone. Summer asks if she's had any headaches.
SUMMER: You're not as 'Tash' as you normally are
TASH: What's that supposed to mean?
Summer suggests Tash might have a brain tumour. Karl takes Tash in for her appointment.
(Later)
Tash is now very worried. Karl comes with Tash's test results and says everything's normal. Summer asks if Tash needs an MRI but Karl tells her it's not needed, suggesting the noise could be stress related.
The Beach
Michael walks along towards the sea with his surfboard. He puts it down on the sand and opens the brown box, taking out a handful of red and orange petals. He crouches down in the water and drops them in.
Number 28
Summer and Tash set up 'Hula Hoop' on the Wii in an effort to de- stress Tash. They nag Andrew to go first. Summer and Tash sit back and laugh, watching Andrew shakes his hips at the computer screen.
TASH: Maybe you should take your shirt off
ANDREW: Maybe I shouldn't take my shirt off
SUMMER: Maybe you should keep wiggling, pretty hips
(Later)
Andrew leaves to visit Chris. Tash thanks Summer for the game. Tash starts to hear sea noises again.
Charlie's
Lucas is doing paper work as Paul approaches. Paul asks how the new business is going, Lucas says it's the best decision he ever made. Paul shows Lucas the ad about the town meeting for the development. Lucas thinks the development will bring in more customers for the garage,
LUCAS: Why don't you go to that meeting and have a bit of a cry.
PAUL: This is just a token effort from the council to make it look like any concerns from the public are heard. Well you know what; it's not where the real decisions are made.
Lucas leaves. Paul looks at the confidential plans, seeing that 'Simmons and Colbert' are the firm behind it, and decides to give them a call.
Simmons and Colbert Law Firm
Paul is surprised to meet Toadie at the law firm. He asks Toadie about the development, Toadie says he knows nothing about it. Paul wants to know how the development got fast tracked. Toadie defends the development.
Men's Shed
It's night time now, Karl and Lucas talk about how Paul is squirming about the development as Toadie arrives with snacks. Toadie's pleased that Karl and Lucas are saying how good the development will be for the community.
Number 32
Summer wonders if Tash's ear problem is hereditary. Summer asks Tash about her mother, and says she should ask Michael about her. Tash used to ask Michael about her mother until she saw how upset he would get.
The Beach
Michael sits by a campfire, he looks at a newspaper clipping with the heading 'Woman Drowns.'
Number 32
Summer asks if Tash knows how her mother died, Tash says it was some kind of illness.
(Later)
Tash calls Michael to check on him. He says it's great, saying Ritchie's about to start the barbecue. They say good night and end the call. Tash tells Summer she can't ask dad about her mother because she doesn't want to ruin things.
