PirateNet studios
Zeke is surprised to see Summer sitting alone in the studio - she's hiding out there. He's okay with her staying (and invites her to do a slot with him later on) and reveals he's been doing some research into spending time at a UK University (the London School of Economics) as well as catching up with his sister again/doing some travelling.
Harold's Store
Lyn is telling Susan about her plans for Charlie's birthday and that the lizard needs to be returned to its owner too - one of Jim's employees. They then comment on Sophie hanging out at the store because she doesn't want to go home when nobody else is in and Susan remarks that even Lucas isn't himself.
Tash comes into the store looking for Summer but Lyn hasn't see her, she then adds that she is worried because Summer's packed her bags - this is news to Lyn!
PirateNet studios
Zeke has had enough researching and instead decides to go on- air instead with Summer. The two of them have great banter as they strut their stuff in the studio.
Lyn finally catches up with Summer when she begins to charge up her phone up. The call is brief but Sum explains she just needed some time out but lies over where she is staying - saying she is at Chris' although does promise to be home for Charlie's birthday.
Charlie's
Billy can't work out why Lucas wants to race given his debt to Garland is paid off.
Police station
Mark briefs his fellow officers about the undercover operation.
Charlie's
Lucas continues to ignore what Billy is saying - he just wants to know the race details.
Susan spots Lucas and comes over to enquire how the investigation into the break in is going and hears him explain they reckon it was just some random person. She then spots that Lucas has company and does the intro's with Billy...
Police station
And Mark tells the others about the other side of Billy...his criminal side and his friends too I.e. Garland Cole but Mark admits he is more concerned about those they have yet identified.
Charlie's
Lucas explains how he knows Billy - they met in rehab and they've kept in touch. When Susan leaves, this only reinforces Billy's stance over why Lucas wants to race again. Once more, Lucas isn't listening; he just wants to know when the next race is.
Police station
Mark finishes the briefing reminding everyone to be careful.
Charlie's
After telling Lucas he will get all the info via a text message, he calls him an idiot as we head into the first commercial break.
(Later)
Karl thinks that Lucas being hyper and checking his phone constantly is him having a lady but Lucas doesn't deny this and instead decides to leave although gets accosted on the way out by Susan and Toadie to check what pressie he has for Charlie so the wee man doesn't get duplicate pressies. It turns out, Lucas hasn't got one and Susan tells him to get one in the morning when he has to leave for "his date".
Harold's Store
Lyn chats to Susan and Karl about Summer's news - she hopes that Sum wasn't rude to Tash/Michael and she gets the chance to ask then when the duo enter the store.
"Is it me?" Tash asks when Lyn explains that Sum is having a time out at Chris' and her reply is she doesn't think so and adds that Sum will be back in the morning. Michael, after getting Tash to get some shopping, then indivertibly tells Lyn about Tash' pregnancy (he thought Sum had already told her) but she agrees to keep what she has just heard quiet given Paul doesn't know.
PirateNet studios
Zeke and Summer continue to strut their stuff but then get a visitor - Lyn (Zeke called her). Sum exits the studio and Lyn can now see why Sum bolted. "Its just really hard," Sum explains than adds she is struggling to no longer feel anything for Andrew before the two of them share an emotional hug.
Number 24
Lucas is still on tenterhooks waiting for his text from Billy.
Police station
Mark tells the others that when the info comes thought, they need to move quickly.
Number 24
Sophie finally comes home but when she spots Lucas has his jacket in his hands, and that Kate isn't home, begs him not to leave.
Police station
The silent officers signal they've no questions for Mark after he finishes the briefing so now it's a matter of waiting.
Number 24
Lucas is trying to come up with suggestions over who can sit with Sophie but she is having none of it, so he tells her to go set up the guitar hero to see if that will take her mind off things. However just as she goes to do that, Lucas gets a text with the race details - its going to be an all nighter at the Ashley Street Railyard.
Police station
Mark gets the same text too.
Number 24
Lucas looks at Sophie.
Police station
Mark gathers his biker gear and heads out of the station.
Number 24
Sophie slaughters Lucas at guitar hero but then feels guilty when she finds out Lucas had to cancel a "date" when Toadie calls round. Lucas wants to go on his date but Toadie dissuades him from doing so, saying that "the lady" wouldn't be impressed with him calling now.
PirateNet studios
As they sit in front of the studio, Sum confesses to Lyn that she doesn't think she can ever go back to #32. When Zeke wraps up the show, he dedicates the next record to Sum and gives her an invitation to crash at #28.
Number 28
Zeke escorts his new housemate into #28 and Lyn checks that its okay with Karl and Susan - it is. While the adults chat, Sum thanks Zeke and fears that Lyn might not handle her staying there but the two of them share a warm hug as Lyn says goodnight to her. Before leaving the house although she does wistfully look as Zeke escorts Sum into Donna's old room.
Number 24 (next day)
Lucas sits and stares at his racing jacket whilst watching monotonous TV.
Ashley Road Railyard
Lucas rocks up to where everyone is gathered - apparently there is one race left although Billy does tell him it isn't worth it and that he should go home.
Garland approaches them and confirms that there is still one more race and Lucas makes it clear he isn't interested in any more deals he is just there to race. Garland wants to introduce him to someone else - Rob who is a mechanic from Sydney but as soon as Lucas sees "Rob" he knows that isn't the correct name because it's the undercover Det. Brennan! Neither of them says anything when they shake hands although you could cut the atmosphere with a knife!
(Later)
Final commercial break later and Lucas spooks Garland when he suddenly backs out of racing. Even Billy is surprised to hear him say that he'd rather bet on the race than race in it. As the racers head to their bikes, Mark pulls Lucas aside to ask what he is doing. "Leaving," is his reply because he doesn't want to be busted but Mark informs him that won't happen and adds that he leaving will spook the others and put them both in hot water.
MARK: You race just like normal.
LUCAS: In front of an undercover cop?
MARK: Just do it Lucas or we'll both cop it.
