This week on Neighbours

- Lucas trying to tell Sonya that her sister has changed.
- Summer and Andrew getting together.
- Panic amongst the Ramsay Street Residents.
Previously on Neighbours
Lyn reaffirming she is keeping Tim on as their lawyer.
Sonya's little sister rocking up.
Number 30
Sonya hurries to hide more personal effects before Jade enters the house... and she's brought along her stuff because she's been made homeless. Sonya makes it clear that her sister isn't wanted; even offering to pay for her to stay in a backpackers, but Jade isn't leaving!
Harold's Store
Paul points out a fault in the store's Christmas lights (Lou still wants to keep alive the Ramsay Street Christmas lights competition) when he comes in for a coffee and to remind Lyn her rent is overdue.
It looks like Lyn's money worries are beginning to pile up when she opens a letter from Tim Collins and Associates asking for $10k to be transferred within 10 days!
Number 30
Sonya wants to know why Jade is in Erinsborough but she doesn't reply to that instead, says that she's been to see their Gran lately and she isn't doing too well. Rubbing her arm (the one Sonya broke) she adds that they have a lot to catch up on and asks Sonya to give her a chance after all they are family and it is Christmas.
(Later)
Jade wants the two of them to head out for drinkies but despite Sonya telling her that she doesn't drink, Jade still wants them to go out - she'll shout sis a non- alcoholic drink! Sonya is quite hesitant about going out, but Jade makes it clear that they can catch up together or she will go out alone and find out everything from others. Reluctantly Sonya agrees although can't talk Jade out of going to the Lassiters Complex rather than the city that she'd have preferred.
Number 26
Lyn has an estate agent around to put #26 on the market but despite her being confident that they can get it on the market quickly, its still going to take 3- 4 months for the money to come through.
Charlie's
Jade is impressed at the bar and at Lucas when he (and Lou) enter the bar (Sonya's gone to the toilet). He is equally as taken with her and they begin do the basic chat up stuff but before they get too far, Sonya comes back and he now knows the identity of who he was talking to.
Lassiters Complex
Tim has come to see Lyn and she drags him round the back of the store to have a very quiet word - she wants to defer the initial payment until she can sell the house. He isn't interested, and tells her bluntly to find the money by the date on the invoice, or Steph is staying in jail.
Harold's Store
Lyn follows Paul into the store and turns on the charm when taking his order before asking for a quiet word. He is gobsmacked when she asks for his help - she is after a loan of $10k from him.
LYN: I don't want to beg but I will if it will get me the money.
"Please Paul" she says as we head into the first commercial break where today's trip down memory lane is to 1995 and Billy Kennedy and Cassie the sheep.
Charlie's
Lucas and Jade are getting on like a house on fire while Sonya sits and cringes. Jade admits she is pleased to see the new Sonya and that she is being allowed back into her life.
"Are you okay?" Lucas asks when Jade goes to the bar to get another round of drinks in. "No" is her reply and Lucas sympathises with her but reminds her that he and Dan got there in the end and suggests she gives Jade a chance.
Harold's Store
Lyn is trying to butter Paul up to get her loan. He wants to know what the loan is for and she replies it's for her kids and denies it's for Steph's appeal when he asks. He promises to let her know later that day when he's had a chance to talk to his accountant.
(Later)
Charlie is showing off a stocking he made for Steph at kindie to Summer and Lyn that they are going to hang up on the tree. Sum asks where the decorations for the tree are and Lyn isn't sure but tells her grandkids to take some of the ones Lou has out the back as he has plenty.
Paul enters the store and delivers the bad news to Lyn - she isn't getting the loan as he found out about the appeal (Tim is his lawyer too). Lyn is distraught when he tells her to give [the appeal] up and as a final insult he puts $5 into the stocking Charlie made for his mum.
Charlie's
Sonya seems to have relaxed more as the three of them have been chatting and when her phone rings, leaves to take it (its Toadie). Jade quizzes Lucas on Toadie and he tells her that the two of them are meant for each other. She then decides to strike while the iron is hot and invite herself to Lucas' place (since they seem to be getting on like a house on fire) but he rejects her advances. Sonya then catches them pashing (Jade forced herself on him) when she finishes her call and isn't amused!
Lassiters Complex
Charlie and summer head off home laden down with Christmas decorations after saying bye to Lyn who is outside clearing some tables.
The whole complex then witness a full blown argument between Sonya and Jade and Sonya (don't call her Son!) makes it clear she doesn't want to see her sister again.
Number 30
Jade obviously didn't listen to her sister because she turns up at the house. She makes it clear she isn't going to walk away, she's had enough of that, until they sort things out. "Call me in a couple of weeks" Sonya replies but Jade isn't listening (or doing what Sonya said) and makes herself comfy on the sofa!
Number 26
Lyn is impressed at how the tree looks when she gets home from work. Sum quizzes her on if the house is being sold (she heard the voicemail the estate agent left) and Lyn reassures her that it's nothing to worry about, she'll sort it out. "I know this is difficult, Christmas without Steph," Summer tells her adding that Steph would want them to stay strong and stick together. "I'm so lucky to have you," Lyn says to her and Sum gives her blessing to the house being sold if it needs to be.
Sum heads off to check on Charlie and when she goes, Lyn sees that there is a letter about their insurance in the mail. She then notices the dodgy Christmas tree lights the kids brought home from the store and you can see Lyn swithering.
Number 26 (next day)
Lyn is treating her grandkids to the movies and after they say bye, she then goes online to renew their insurance for the house and contents... before retrieving the dodgy Christmas tree lights from the laundry.
Tomorrow on Neighbours
- Lyn switching on the Christmas tree lights.
- Karl v Susan over citizen of the year.
- Paul trying to put Mark off the scent.
- Paul threatening Kate.
- Kate asking Mark if he can smell burning.
- Lyn arriving home and the sound of sirens being heard.
