Recap
Sam reminding Steph that jail's a lonely place.
Paul hates to see what Donna's going through, and publishes a piece in the paper about Steph.
Tash wants to get Andrew's attention.
Andrew and Summer get closer.
Andrew kisses Summer to keep a business colleague onside.
Number 26
Summer's in her room, moping over what happened with Andrew at the club. Lyn comes in with clean clothes, and asks if she had a good time; Summer is about to tell her what happened when Steph bursts in, reprimanding her mum for getting everyone's outfits ready for court.
Steph leaves to go to bed, and Lyn kisses Summer goodnight.
The next morning there's a knock at the door and it's Tash. Tash has come to collect Sum for school but Summer reminds her that it's Steph's court case today and she won't be going. Tash tries to get out of Sum what happened with Andrew at the club, so Summer tells Tash that Andrew's all hers, and shuts the door in her face.
Overhearing, Lyn demands to know what happened, and is furious that Andrew took advantage of her granddaughter at the club. Lyn feels terrible that because there's lots going on with Steph, Summer doesn't feel she can talk. Summer says it's all fine.
Harold's Store
Paul and Sam are trying to order coffee but Lyn refuses to acknowledge them. They sit down anyway, and discuss the case: they have all the evidence, but perhaps Steph will cry, show remorse etc, and then the jury will take her side.
Steph arrives with Charlie; she can't stay at home and really, really needs something to do. Lyn puts them to work stacking shelves. Paul again tries to order coffee with no success.
Donna arrives, and sees Steph at the shelves, wanting to talk to her about the court case. Steph freaks out and runs off, much to Charlie's worry. Sam watches: she's knows what will make Steph break today...
Number 22
Paul and Sam arrive home and Sam is trying to convince Paul to get Donna to go to court. She says that Donna deserves justice, but Paul knows that Sam's in it for revenge and a big pay cheque. Regardless, Sam wants to make her case prevail, and wants Paul's help to get Donna there and get Steph prosecuted.
Paul explains that he wants Sam to win the case, but he doesn't want Donna hurt by anything.
Number 28
Paul arrives to see Donna and hands over her sketchbook which he found over at theirs. She flicks through and finds sketches of the shrugolero, Saffron (with 'Saffron Sux' underneath!) and Ringo. She gazes at it; she'd forgotten about that drawing.
Paul then subtly asks if Donna's coming to the trial, and she says no: she's not interested. Paul thinks it might give Donna closure, and he still considers her to be family and wants the best for her. He tells her to think about it. She looks back down at the Ringo sketch.
Harold's Store
Andrew orders a coffee from Lyn who wants to know why he treated Summer so badly last night with the whole kissing thing. Andrew apologises; he shouldn't have let Summer down. Lyn seems pleased, and tells him to tell Summer that.
Number 26
Summer's moping in her room, still, when Charlie runs in with an ice- cream face! Steph runs in after him, and gets him to go wash his face, whilst asking Summer how she is. Sum says she's fine, but it's not been a great year for her. Steph apologises again for making the last few weeks so hard.
Andrew turns up and invites Summer for coffee; she agrees, as long as she gets back in time for court.
Ramsay Street
Andrew apologises again for stuffing things up last night; Summer's a great friend and he doesn't want to lose her.
Paul is on the phone to Sam, and says he doesn't want to push Donna, but Sam obviously convinces him otherwise. Paul sees Donna across the street and calls to her. He tells her again that she needs to go to court that afternoon. Karl appears and has a go at Paul for harassing Donna, and they start arguing.
Donna walks off, upset, past Lucas and Declan who are coming back from a run.
Number 22
Lucas and Dec arrive back to have a go at Paul for picking a fight with Donna in the middle of the street. He asks them for a favour - please can they go find her to see if she's alright?
Harold's Store
Lyn's on the phone to Toadie, thanking him for everything he's done for Steph and their family. She serves Andrew and Summer with hot chocolate and a sundae. Tash arrives and joins them without asking, helping herself to sundae and telling Andrew he can borrow her notes from the class he missed.
Tash is being a pain in the bottom, and Lyn notices Summer getting more and more distressed, so calls her granddaughter over to get her away from the table. In the kitchen Lyn realises that Summer really likes Andrew, and Sum admits that she thought he liked her, too. But she was wrong.
Charlie's
Sam storms in to see Paul and wants to know where Donna is. Paul admits that she's missing. Sam accepts that Donna's out of the equation, but they still have the blood- alcohol reading, and possibly Kate's statement.
Karl and Susan make a random appearance, wanting to know where Donna is.
Graveyard
Donna sits alone, thinking and crying.
Charlie's
Susan doesn't understand why Paul was pushing Donna, but Paul defends himself - he sees Donna as a daughter. Declan and Lucas return, but with no news. Paul is determined: there must be some friends she talks to? Declan has an idea...
Graveyard
Armed with flowers, Donna stands by Didge's grave. She really needs some advice.
She tells Didge that Indy's growing up, and has a furrow on her forehead just like her mum. Donna says that everything's a mess, and the weirdest thing is that she still thinks Ringo's around somewhere, and when she went back to where the accident happened, she almost thought she might see him. But she can't find him anywhere.
Donna wonders if Paul's right, maybe she should go to the trial, then she might stop looking for Ringo.
DONNA: And hey, if you see Ringo around, look after him for me.
She tells Didge that she misses her, lays the flowers on her grave, and Declan arrives with Lucas.
Number 26
Lyn arrives home to a very clean house because Summer needed something to do! She hands Lyn a top to iron, and goes to get ready for court. Lyn starts ironing but breaks down in tears just as Steph comes in. Lyn tells her daughter that she's trying hard not get upset, so Steph suggests that Lyn doesn't go to court. If her mum's upset then she'll be upset, and she needs someone to look after Charlie. Lyn eventually agrees, and promises to be there closer to the time of the verdict. They hug.
Cut to later and Steph is getting ready for court. Lyn hands her some tissues to pack, whilst Summer answers the door to Toadie and Sonya who wishes him luck before leaving.
Number 28
Over at the Kennedys', Karl is ready and leaving, whilst Donna sits on the sofa, staring at a photo of Ringo.
Number 26
Lyn adjusts Steph's suit as she says goodbye to Charlie, telling him that she has to go out with Toadie for a little while.
Ramsay Street
Steph, Summer and Toadie are about to get into a car when Steph sees Donna also getting into the car. She freaks out - she didn't know Donna was going, and she can't go to court with her there and claim it was okay she knocked down Ringo...
