Ramsay Street
Lyn walks out into the street and looks up at her house. She sees Susan watering plants in her garden and then sees Steph coming out to check the mail. She tries to smile at Steph, but Steph just scowls.
Number 30
Steph wonders if she was too hard on Lyn. Toadie says she was honest, Lyn has lots of great qualities but keeping a secret isn't one of them. It was bad enough she stuffed up with Susan, but what if it had been Callum or Libby? He tells her to do what feels right, Lyn's her mum after all. I wonder how Angie would feel about all of this?
Erinsborough High
It's all go in the corridors as usual. There's talk of big teas and basket ball training but more importantly some random extra dude is having a big party and really wants Chris and Summer to come. He dashes off and they think it's weird. Callum and Sophie explain that they're the new "it" couple, he's the basket ball captain and she's the cool clever chick. They deny being a proper couple and don't think it matters whether they go to a party or not. Party Princess Natasha has her antennae tuned to party talk and wants to know where, when and who? Chris and Summer don't even know if they're going.
Natasha cobbles Andrew and Harry to see if they know about the party. She wants to know where the invitations are for the three of them. Harry doesn't think it's his kind of thing. Andrew doesn't know if he should care - who needs popularity when you have power? Old family moto there.

Susan is concerned that Lyn is still upset and Kate is worried too. Lyn tells Kate that Lou will be managing the store for a while because she's going back to Shelly Bay. Kate doesn't get it, Steph is going to have a baby and a wedding and she's taking off? Lyn breezes that she has a lot of things to do but she'll be back in no time. It's no big deal.

Natasha is still smarting because Chris and Summer are the hottest new couple. Andrew tells her to drop it. Natasha spies Adam the party host and asks if he needs help to throw the most amazing party. He says no, but she thinks he's wrong if because he's going to B- graders like Summer and Chris to get everyone interested. Doesn't he know that she's A list? He tells her to chill, she'll get an invite when he gets around to it.
Natasha hassles Andrew about the stupid party some more. She's on posters, so clearly she isn't the problem. It's Andrew who needs to raise his game, maybe he should run for school captain. Andrew reminds her that as a year 11 he can't run for anything except class and off he goes. Undeterred, Natasha approaches Chris and tells him that as basket ball captain he has a responsibility to look good, and he'll need the hottest girl in school by his side to complete his image. He asks if she's asking him out. She says yes. He says no.
Number 26
Lyn has her case packed but can't stop to speak to Susan who has just turned up on the doorstep. Susan makes her sit down and acknowledges that she was wrong to stick her nose in with Steph and Toadie, but she can see that Lyn isn't happy and she wants to know why. What is wrong with the wedding? Lyn fights back tears and the secret. She tells Susan that it's just best if they all just have a bit of a break. She wants Steph to be happy and if she leaves she will be. She doesn't want to be the interfering mother- in- law who wrecks her daughter's relationship.
Ouch.
Number 30
Susan knows it's none of her business, but she can't just stand by when Lyn is so upset. She's got her bags packed - Steph has to talk to her. What on earth can be wrong with this wedding? Toadie explains that they need to work it out amongst themselves, they know she's worried, but it'll be fine.
Susan leaves and Steph admits that she doesn't want Lyn to leave. Toadie says that if she does, Susan won't stop asking questions and then someone will find out.

Number 26
Lyn has all her bags packed and her coat on and is waiting for the taxi when Steph comes in. Lyn tells Steph that she and Toadie should move back in to look after Summer, it's for the best.
STEPH: None of this is for the best. I'm so sorry for everything I've said to you. I never wanted to hurt you.
LYN: I never wanted to hurt you, love. This. This whole situation is too hard.
STEPH: That's why I don't want you to go. I just don't think I can get through the next few months if you're not here.
LYN: And the wedding?
STEPH: Well we have to go through with it now, people are going to ask why. Please mum. I need you.
Lyn hugs her daughter and agrees to stay and even reluctantly agrees to the wedding.
Number 22
Natasha comes in and calls out for Andrew. While she waits for him to come down she strikes up a conversation with Cat, inviting her around to watch Birds of Prey. Harry, who is hiding out in the dining area is entertained that she's turning into crazy cat lady. She tells him that she and Andrew have important things to do, so unless he has a plan to take down Summer and Chris... Harry knows that not being the coolest kid on the block is killing Natasha - how sad that the captain of the basket ball team gets party invites, but not her!
Harold's
Kate speaks to Lyn on the phone and relays the message that she's staying to Susan. Andrew and Natasha come in and Natasha makes a bee line for Griffo and another basket ball bully (who may even be Party Boy Adam) to relay some hot gossip, straight from the principal's office. Summer and Chris come in and Chris also heads over to the guys to talk about a practise. They up and leave as soon as Chris approaches. Oh Natasha, what fresh hell is this?
Chris frets, but Summer tells him not to worry, they'll have forgotten whatever it is by tomorrow. Michael comes over to talk to Chris. There's a rumour going around that the school accepted a bribe for his position as captain. He knows it's a load of nonsense, but some parents want to make a formal complaint. He's spoken to Chris' dad and they'll get to the bottom of it. Chris knows he's going to get hell from his dad who isn't keen on him being so heavily involved in sports when there's school work to be done. The captaincy isn't worth the hassle, he'll have to resign.
Harold's
The Ramsay Clan are hanging out and discussing Harry's potential to be a Harlem Globetrotter. Sophie thinks he should apply for the scholarship that's advertised at school. Oo, I smell a storyline coming along! Summer wants a word with Harry so Kate and Sophie go to get ice cream. Sum tells Harry about the tough time Chris is having and thinks it would be good if Harry could back him up as a team mate. It's the right thing to do...for the team.
Charlie's
Griffo and yes, it is Adam, are playing pool and have the coveted invitations for Natasha and Andrew. Natasha tells Adam if he really wants her there, he'll need to have her Pirtate Net posters up and she'll be bringing her iPod as she doesn't trust his taste in music. Adam agrees. Andrew wants to know what's happened to the golden couple. Griffo says that nobody wants to hang around with a cheat and Harry backs him up. Controversial.
Number 26
Lyn explains to Susan that she just doesn't want people thinking that Steph and Toadie wouldn't be getting married if it wasn't for the baby. Susan says that anyone can see how in love they are and she's really sorry again for sticking her nose in it. Lyn is really glad she's staying and thinks it was good to get everything out in the open. There's a knock at the door and it's the hot priest! Susan leaves and Lyn tells Father Corrigan that she just really needs someone to confide in.
A chat with Father C has allayed some of Lyn's concerns. Clearly she hasn't told him everything, as the priest thinks their relationship has strong and healthy foundations. Friendship is important and Love comes with friendship. Lyn starts to get ideas...
Number 30
Toadie, Steph and Callum are watching TV when Lyn barges in with Summer in hot pursuit. She's got Summer's wedding planning book and announces that although she was grumpy about it before, she'd really like to help out with planning the wedding and taking some of the pressure off. Toadie and Steph agree as long as it isn't too big and fancy. Lyn promises it will be perfect and romantic and built on a solid cornerstone.
