School
Michael gives the Year 11's a pep talk and that he has an open door policy but throughout his chat, Harry has been trying to talk to Summer who totally ignored him. However Libby wasn't impressed and after he didn't take a telling the first time, she sent him out of the room to wait for outside her room. Also Natasha tried feeling up Andrew (rubbing her hand on his leg) but he quickly expressed his dislike for it.
(Later)
Callum and Sophie pass the waiting Harry and she comments that he's been a bit weird lately and thinks he had a fight with Andrew too as she could hear arguing. Sophie then tries to put Callum's visit to see the Principal off too - he wants to talk to Michael about doing wrestling in PE!
The rest of the Year 11's exit the classroom and Natasha asks Andrew what tonight's plans are after their gig the previous night and he replies that it's a quiet one. Summer approaches them and wants a quiet word with Andrew - she wants to know if the competition was his idea. He tries to play it down saying it was "stupid guys stuff" but that doesn't impress Summer and before walking off, she tells him that he and Harry deserve each other.
Natasha returns almost gloating to him about Summer and Harry's romance being off and he works out how Summer knew about it. She tells him not to be so huffy at Summer having a hissy fit, he should be thanking her!
Libby's office
Libby ticks Harry off before dismissing him. Summer replaces him to ask if she can go home, saying she isn't feeling well but Libby spots how upset she is and instead asks Summer to sit down to talk about it. "Have you ever been first prize in a competition," she asks Libby who dishes out the sympathy.
SUMMER: I thought they were my friends.
LIBBY: They will be when they grow up.
SUMMER: How long is that going to take?
LIBBY: Oh I'd give it 20 years if you are lucky!
That comment gets a smile out of Summer and Libby dishes out some more advice - don't let them (or anyone else) send her home. Libby then has another way for Summer to be distracted - matching Chris and her up for a science project (his partner dropped out and I assume she was paired with Andrew/Harry).
Number 28
Karl tells Susan to hurry up - he wants to get to the golf course to beat her! Susan invites Naomi and Ringo along but she politely declines for the both of them.
Naomi remarks that the Kennedys seem a pretty tight family and Ringo agrees but adds that they also take in strays too I.e. him. He adds that Susan is like a second mum to him before asking why Naomi doesn't talk much about her family. "Nothing much to tell" she replies and isn't impressed when Ringo pushes her for more information but he thinks its fun getting to know each other. "You need to get out more" is her reply to that remark and pacifies him with "its all good" before distracting him by the offer of her shouting him something to eat.
Harold's Store
Ringo and Naomi tuck into their food and she suggest wagging Uni to go to the beach but Ringo rejects this as he doesn't want to miss classes, suggesting they go at the weekend instead. Their alone time is ruined when Kate, Donna and Zeke turn up at the store and pinch their chips. Kate invites the pair of them to the gym and while Ringo takes up her offer, Naomi decides to head home to chill instead.
Gym
Ringo gets a text from Naomi as he works out inviting him to her place for a spa. Initially he doesn't want to go (he has Uni soon) but Zeke talks him into it and he heads off with a big smile on his face!
Naomi's house
Ringo arrives and rings the doorbell but Naomi is out the back and looks like she's formulating a plan in her head with the expression she has on her face. Finally she shouts out to him that she's in the spa and to come around the side after he rings the bell again and calls out "hello". He starts to head round and Naomi lowers herself into the spa then as the camera returns to show us Ringo walking, we hear Naomi shouting out for help.
And as we head off into the first commercial break, today's trip down memory lane is to 2000 with Lance Wilkinson and Toadie dressed up as Captain Kirk and Dr Spock from Star Trek!
Naomi's house
Ringo arrives to see Naomi struggling in the spa and he jumps the fence (he couldn't get the door lever to work) and immediately enters the spa to rescues her.
Later once recovered, she explains what happened - her strap got caught and she got pulled under. "I'm just so lucky you were here" she tells him and he remarks that it seems to be a bit of a habit! She turns on the upset look at that comment but he cheers her up when he compares himself to Superman in his effort to getting over the fence.
NAOMI: My Superman.
Number 28
Ringo gets Karl to check Naomi over and he declares her fine but wants to take her home and explain things to her parents. She then mentions that her parents live interstate and that she shares with a couple of fellow students. Ringo asks if Naomi can stay since potentially there is nobody there to keep an eye on her and Susan agrees.
Charlie's
Zeke, Kate and Donna arrive at the bar. Kate wonders where Ringo disappeared to and Zeke replies "secret blokes business" but she can see it really means he was called away by Naomi and Donna plays it cool that she is happy for them.
Andrew finds his cousin playing darts after he skived school. Harry can sense why he's talking to him but instead tells him to go back to Natasha, bitterly adding "at least you've got her," before resuming his game.
School
Callum finally catches up with Michael to ask him about the wrestling and is told to come back when he's got an argument that is impossible for him to refuse.
Meanwhile, Chris and Summer arrange to meet at the store to work on their science project and at the other end of the corridor, Natasha stops to chat to Andrew but he's got something else to attend to and when she spots who it involves, leaves him to it.
Andrew heads over and asks Summer for a word and reluctantly she does that after Chris heads off. He confesses that the whole competition idea was his and that Harry only went along with it because he really likes her and begs Summer to give Harry another chance.
ANDREW: He's a good guy; you and him should be together.
Number 24
Kate gives her siblings instructions for dinner as she has to work but before she does, she tries to talk to Harry about the argument he had with Andrew however someone knocking on the door interrupts the conversation.
Harry answers the door to Summer - she tells him that Andrew said the competition was his idea and returns the CD he gave her adding that they can't be friends any more. He's puzzled by that so she adds that he still went along with it and lied to her.
SUMMER: I can't trust you any more and I can't be friends with someone I don't trust.
Harold's Store
Harry has volunteered to work but when he spots Chris and Summer, tells Kate that he'll leave when he's sure Summer won't see him.
Meanwhile, Callum is continuing with his campaign to get Michael to introduce wrestling at school with a little bit of help from Toadie.
Harry's plan failed, Summer spots him leaving the store as Chris talks to her about a horror movie marathon he went to last week and invites her to attend another one with him in the future.
Number 28
News has spread about Naomi's accident and Zeke and Donna offer her sympathy and distraction (DVD marathon) but she's not up to it so they (and Libby) head off to watch the movies at #22 instead.
(Later)
While Ringo and Susan do the dishes, Karl heads over to the couch to chat with Naomi about what happened. He's rather suss on her and how the accident managed to happen in the first place. Naomi is very evasive in her replies and escapes his questioning on the pretence of going to get a blanket so she can rest.
Final commercial break later and its Karl's turn to chat to Ringo about Naomi and that it looks like its becoming a bit of a habit. Ringo puts it down to Naomi having an unlucky run. Karl plants the seed by suggesting it always seems to happen when Ringo is around and expresses his doubt that the spa incident could have been an accident, despite Ringo protesting that he was there and saw it for himself. Ringo isn't amused at Karl's line of questioning but their conversation is curtailed when Naomi enters the livingroom armed with blankets.
Karl heads off to the bedroom and the duo make themselves comfortable on the sofa with Naomi cuddling into Ringo but you can see Ringo's mind thinking about what Karl has said to him.
