Ramsay Street
The street is in complete disarray the next morning with trash from the party strewn everywhere. Rebecca hassles Andrew to help clean up, but when he approaches Harry to give a hand, Harry gives him the cold shoulder. Summer walks out to put more rubbish in the bin and glares at Andrew before returning inside.
Lassiter's Complex
Harry gets annoyed with Andrew for following him but Andrew claims he's just there for a coffee. Harry doesn't get why his cousin's acting like such an idiot.
HARRY: I know everything's up in the air for you right now, and that sucks, but at least you had me and Summer to rely on... Until now.
He heads into Harold's to get a takeaway coffee leaving Andrew sitting by himself.
Charlie's Bar
Libby and Steph chat about the disaster party just as Declan walks in with India. The women comment on how big she's getting and Declan says she's nearly outgrown all of her clothes.
LIBBY: She just needs some new dresses.
DECLAN: Hey don't go giving her any ideas.
LIBBY: (to India) Dresses, tell daddy you need dresses.
Libby starts to look at the menu but Steph gets an odd look on her face. Claiming she needs some water for a dodgy stomach, she heads to the bar. With a grin she pats her stomach and whispers, "Hello, mate!"
Number 30
Steph bounces inside to tell Toadie that the baby moved. She was upset she couldn't share the news with Libby so she went out shopping and bought a onesie and a cute mini leather jacket for bubs. Toadie's slightly worried that it's too soon to be buying clothes, especially if someone sees them, but Steph says she'll make sure they're well hidden.
Number 26
Andrew eavesdrops at the front door while Harry and Summer talk about him. Summer thinks he's a coward for leaving them to clean up the mess. Harry says Andrew's just scared about going back to Sydney, but Summer doesn't get why he keeps defending him. She's angry that she put her trust in Andrew.
Number 30
Libby brings Steph some herbal tea in a thermos for her stomach but she can't stick around - she's got soccer revision to do. Charlie runs out holding the leather jacket and Steph freaks (good job with the hiding, dude), ripping the price tags off before Libby can see. She claims it's Charlie's old jacket from when he was little. Libby buys it but Steph still looks rattled.
Number 22
Rebecca finds Andrew on the couch and wonders if the clean- up is finished already, but Andrew retorts that they'd get on much better if she pretended he wasn't there. Rebecca says she can see through his tough guy act but Andrew says she's not his mum so she should stop acting like it.
REBECCA: Don't push me, Andrew.
ANDREW: Or what? You'll call my dad again? That's getting a little old, Rebecca, just like you.
Andrew heads upstairs just as Declan and India arrive home. Declan's concerned and Rebecca says she's close to "pulling the pin on that miserable brat". Declan reckons that she should just let Andrew's mum deal with him.
Rebecca calls Christina to have a chat about Andrew, letting her know that he's been getting in trouble and that he's not settled. But she's shocked when Christina says she doesn't want Andrew back in Sydney and hangs up on her.
First Commercial Break
Number 22
Rebecca tells Andrew off for drinking milk out of the carton but he ignores her, even when Declan steps in. Andrew goes upstairs and Declan vents his annoyance, but Rebecca says he's just lashing out. Declan can't believe she feels sorry for him now, but Rebecca is astounded that Christina's just given up on her son.
REBECCA: I never gave up on you.
DECLAN: Yeah but as bad as it got I learnt from my mistakes. That kid is a repeat offender.
REBECCA: Well it's a good thing I don't give up on a hard case then isn't it.
DECLAN: Whatever happened you were always my mum. I would never treat you the way he does.
REBECCA: Imagine what it would have been like if there was no one in your corner.
DECLAN: All Andrew thinks about is Andrew. Do you really want to come up against that?
REBECCA: I'm not going to give up on him.
Harold's Store
Steph finds Toadie and asks him for a favour - she needs him to return the baby clothes to the store. She confesses that Libby saw the jacket but bought her lie about it being Charlie's. Steph suddenly has a change of mind and says she'll take the jacket back to the store herself.
Lassiter's Complex
Steph finds Summer moping on a bench and goes over to cuddle her. Steph knows the party didn't turn out the way she wanted, but there'll always be next time. Libby sees them and is troubled to learn that Andrew left Summer in the lurch to clean up. Steph spots Declan with India and is inspired to give him the leather jacket. Declan's pleased and Toadie walks out of Harold's just as Libby is taking a photo of Declan, biker India and Steph on her phone. Steph holds India but feels uncomfortable and quickly gives her back to Dec. Toadie notes her reaction.
Number 22
Rebecca has a chat with Andrew and says she wants to find a better way for all of them to live as a family. Andrew thinks it's a waste of time - as soon as Paul finds out about the party he's gone. But Rebecca says she could help him with Paul. Andrew's confused and snits that he doesn't need her help, but Rebecca reminds him that he's got no one else now that he's put Harry and Summer offside.
REBECCA: You can keep pretending that you don't need me, but I'll be here when you do.
Second Commercial Break
Number 26
Harry crashes onto the couch, tired of cleaning, but Summer says they've still got the gross bathroom to do. Andrew calls in and Harry and Summer aren't too pleased to see him. But Andrew wants to apologise for acting like such a tool last night and for stuffing the both of them around when they've always had his back. Summer says that words aren't always enough, but Andrew says he'll do anything to make it up to them, so Summer and Harry set him to work cleaning up the bathroom.
Number 30
Toadie returns from the shops and gives Steph a hug on the couch because she looks sad. He says it was a really nice gesture to give India the jacket.
STEPH: When I felt bubs move I was so happy.
TOADIE: Yeah me too.
STEPH: Now I just feel so guilty. It's not the baby's fault. He deserves to be celebrated just like any other child.
TOADIE: Too right he does, and I have just the thing.
He shows Steph the Dingoes footy scarf he bought "for our boy". But it can keep Steph all cosy and warm till he arrives so they don't have to hide it. He wraps it around Steph's neck while he talks, but is concerned when she gasps. But Steph smiles and says that the baby moved again; he must like the sound of Toadie's voice.
STEPH: Keep going!
TOADIE: OK, uh... (he taps Steph's stomach) Where's the microphone on this thing?
Harold's Store
Andrew runs into Declan while he's buying some drinks and Declan can't believe that Summer and Harry have forgiven him. Andrew starts badmouthing Rebecca, saying that she's only playing nice to prove something to Paul, but Declan says he has no idea. Andrew says there's a whole life waiting for him back in Sydney. Declan tries to bite his tongue, but his anger gets the better of him.
DECLAN: Have you checked on that lately? My mum is offering you a lifeline, OK, don't be an idiot.
ANDREW: Stuff your mum and Paul, I've got my own life waiting for me.
DECLAN: I reckon you'll find that they've given up on you just like everyone else.
He walks out and Andrew looks unsettled.
Number 22 - Andrew's Bedroom
Andrew is on the phone to his mum, realising that Declan was telling the truth. He's not wanted. Feeling stung, he hangs up and contemplates his next move while Rebecca walks in to check up on him. She reassures him that she'll talk to Paul and sort everything out, but they have to do it together. Unable to handle anything in his current frame of mind, Andrew tells her to leave him alone before storming out.
Third Commercial Break
Ramsay Street
Andrew walks out and starts to unleash hell. He smashes some pot plants on the ground near his driveway, before rushing out onto the street and tipping over every bin he can find. Rebecca runs out, and Harry tries to stop his cousin (along with Toadie and Steph) but Andrew ignores them all charges away in a fit of rage.
