This week on Neighbours
Zeke telling Mia how he'd like to spend his birthday.
Steph refusing to have some tests done and Toadie backing her up telling Karl she's just run down.
Lucas insisting to Steph that she loves him and Toadie saying they need a bigger plan.
Summer telling Harry that he has boyfriend credentials.
Previously on Neighbours
Andrew and Harry preparing to do battle to win Summer's hand.
Mia admitting that she put some files onto Zeke's computer.
Number 28
Zeke is doing some computer stuff trying to work out what it was that Mia put on his laptop and when he does, one of them is a map of Eden Hills. During this, Karl and Susan returned home wanting to talk with Zeke how to celebrate his 18th but his mind was rather occupied doing the reconstruction although he did say he'd phone Mia so she could be involved in his special day.
(Later)
Mia arrives and wants to head straight to his bedroom since they are alone but he diverts her to the kitchen and luckily too because Susan and Karl come in from the garden. They talk birthdays and Mia suggests getting his favourite DJ to play in Charlie's, even suggesting food options too and Zeke is happy with what's been suggested.
Harold's store
Donna has now been dragged into the birthday chat - Karl and Susan seem more excited about it than their stepson! The oldies leave to... brainstorm at home although how much chatting they will actually get done in the bedroom who knows!
DONNA: That's disgusting!
ZEKE: Yip but you don't have to live with it.
Zeke makes a funny face and says "gross" when Mia comments that its sweet they are still in love although she leaves them to it, to take a call from her granddad.
Donna can suss that Zeke needs to talk and he tells her about the files found on his laptop and who put them there. She tells him to talk about it with Mia as there is bound to be a simple explanation.
Lasstiers Complex
Mia meets up with 'granddad' aka Detective Skinner. She tells him that Zeke is targeting the CEO of the research company (that explains the map Zeke found) but can't give him any more details, despite his annoyance at her, because Zeke's still in the planning stages.
Zeke exits the store and spots them but Skinner leaves before Zeke gets over to where they were standing. She turns on the crocodile tears to say that Skinner has been hassling her since the last protest and didn't want to tell him.
Zeke mentions the files on his computer and she replies that the map is of her granddad's house and is then insulted that he doesn't believe what she is saying. "Of course I do" he quickly says when she goes to walk away and puts his doubts down to seeing Skinner. He asks that if Skinner hassles her again she tells him, so they can deal with it together. She thanks him and promises not to keep anything else from him.
Harold's Store
The duo return to the store and Zeke heads to the table where Donna is whilst Mia gets the coffees in. He tells Donna that the map was of her grandfather's house and Donna replies that she knew there would be a simple explanation.
Zeke then heads to the counter to get cake and gets caught by Harry wanting love advice and Zeke's words of wisdom is to just be yourself.
Meanwhile back with the ladies, Donna suggests that the two of them go shopping for Zeke's pressie and Mia recommends a good record shop that is round the corner from her granddads place... in West Warratah! Donna doesn't let on about the slip up.
Charlie's
Rebecca seems a bit jealous when the very happy Karl and Susan enter the bar for some refreshment after their new "exercise regime" especially after Paul flatly ignored the attention she was trying to give him as he was up to his eyes in paperwork.
Number 26
Donna bursts into #26 as she is after Summer's help, throwing the previously newly arrived Harry out of the house (he brought round a piano concerto CD for them to listen to). "This better be good" she replies and Donna explains she wants to borrow Sum's iPod so she can gather incriminating evidence against Mia. Sum agrees not just to lend her iPod but herself too after hearing Donna's plan.
Charlie's
Donna (dressed up so we supposedly don't recognise her) and Summer enter the bar. They've decided to put the iPod into Mia's jacket but while Donna mutters away to herself wondering how she could achieve it, Sum takes the initiative of going over to the table where Zeke, Mia, Karl and Susan are having their meal to chat and subtly slips the iPod into Mia's jacket.
Donna is still twittering on when Sum returns telling her the mission was successful! They then decide to follow Mia when she leaves on the pretence of getting Zeke a birthday pressie.
Community gardens
Summer and Donna hide in the buses watching Mia. Donna is beginning to doubt herself if she is doing the right thing or not but Sum reassures her it's better that Zeke knows if something is up. They conceal themselves more when they spot Skinner arrive and chat to Mia.
Number 22
Paul cuts short a call about money when Rebecca enters the house. She tries to tempt him into having a few nights away but he replies that now isn't a good time to go away.
Harold's Store
Harry watches on as Andrew and Summer chat at a table. We then go into dreamland with Harry dreaming that he sweeps Sum off her feet with the thought of sharing a cup cake at his place when he brings over her coffee (he's all suited up and his curly hair is now straight).
Back in the land of the living, Jumilla gets him to re- enact part of his dream though when she asks him to give Summer her coffee. However instead of the perfect delivery in the dream, some of the coffee sloshes over the side as it slides across the table and even worse, unlike the dream, he just about falls off his seat too when he joins them. Harry puts it down to trying something new when they quiz him.
Number 22
Rebecca is in a mood, slamming door cupboards as Andrew and Harry enter the house. As usual, they are chatting about Summer and Andrew subtly drops in that he's taking her to some concert at the botanical gardens tomorrow.
The boys notice that Rebecca is in a mood when she heads upstairs and Paul tells them never to enter a fight they can't win. Andrew replies that he learned that years ago because it isn't worth the hassle and Harry asks if that includes their competition? Andrew confirms it and Harry is upset at his cousin giving him false hope and departs the house not a happy bunny!
Harold's Store
Summer and Donna enter the store and after spotting Mia sitting with Zeke, now try to work out how to get the iPod back. Andrew gets roped into helping (he was trying to get Summer interested in having a milkshake with him) and puts a plan in motion which successfully brings about the safe retrieval of the iPod.
Number 28
Rebecca is over for a cuppa and subtly brings up how Susan keeps the "fun" in their relationship. "You should get yourself a blue box, it works for us" Karl calls out as he returns from the bedroom having overhead the ladies conversation. Rebecca quickly decides its time to go home but before leaving, tells Susan that Paul won't be taking her for granted (Susan caught her on the way out, worried that they still needed to chat).
Number 22
Rebecca arrives home in a very determined mood!
REBECCA: I am intelligent, I am sexy and I am frustrated! So you tell me Paul Robinson what is your problem?!
Oops! Turns out that Paul was on a conference all and all in sundry have just heard what she said!
After he brings the conference call to a halt, she wants to know where their passion has gone and is getting fed up getting the brush off from him. He quickly reassures her that he isn't disinterested then admits to her that there is a temporary cash flow problem until revenue from PirateNet kicks in and that they need to watch the pennies. Rebecca is surprised to hear this news as she thought PirateNet was going to solve their money worries and he admits that it will but it's just taking longer than planned.
REBECCA: I don't want you to keep things like that from me okay? You've got to remember we're a team.
PAUL: Yes we are.
Number 26
Summer and Donna connect up the iPod and hear what Mia said - she told Skinner that tomorrow morning there is going to be a break in at the CEO's house and records will be destroyed. Mia also adds that the evidence to incriminate Zeke will be there too. Skinner tells her that once this job is done, Mia will be freed and Zeke will be locked up.
DONNA: She's setting him up.
SUMMER: Mmm.
DONNA: This is really, really bad.
SUMMER: What a piece of work.
DONNA: And he's so happy with her.
SUMMER: Donna. What are you going to do?
Donna suggests the police but Summer reminds her that Skinner is the police adding that she needs to tell Zeke.
Number 28
Karl and Susan have come up with the perfect theme for Zeke's 18th - St. Patrick's Day since his birthday is the same day. "It's different" Zeke replies but Mia is up for it, so he too is now in. With that settled, next on the to- do list is making a collage which Mia is roped into helping Karl and Susan with.
Donna arrives wanting to talk but before she can, Zeke thanks her for setting him straight about Mia and thanks her too for standing by them at the beginning when others weren't. She's just about to tell him that she needs to talk to him when Mia returns with photos and so the moment is lost.
