Susan not impressed at what her family are trying to do.

Kate and Declan kissing.
Teen's apartment
Kate and Declan are struggling to come to terms with their kiss as she hides out in the bathroom and him the kitchen. Eventually they face each other when Kate comes out of the bathroom and they feel a spark when Kate hands him some kitchen roll to wipe up the OJ that spilt when he opened the fridge. Kate apologises to him for the kiss saying she was caught up in the whole party mode but he tells her not to be. She tries to tempt him into going to a party on the beach but he rejects her suggestion in favour of going for a run.
Teen's apartment (next day)
Donna finally comes downstairs looking rather the worse for wear and asks Declan and Kate what they got up to last night. Kate replies that she went to bed and Declan that he went for a run.
RINGO: Wow guys, way to let your hair down.
Zeke makes it home after partying all night and watching the sun rise. The others are glad he's moving on and he asks what they are doing today...
Beach
...and the answer is they are heading to the beach. They claim their place on the beach and debate what to do. Ringo moans that all Donna wants to do is sunbathe instead of playing cricket or volleyball. Zeke bails to go for a walk and the girls then decide to go and get some juice.
Later (and it looks like the sun is setting in the background!) Donna and Kate walk back from getting their drinks. Donna wants to know why Declan is all moody but Kate plays dumb and turns it round to ask if things are going to be okay between her and Ringo. Donna is very noncommittal about but admits that she feels she has too much fun for him.
They then come across a stray ball on the footpath and when they return it to the owner they are invited to play beach volleyball.
DONNA: Ringo who?
Harold's Store
Steph catches Libby when she comes in for some bread, to invite her to have a coffee since they haven't had a catch up for a bit. Libby rejects her offer, saying she is flat out and departs as quickly as she arrived.
Lyn takes great delight in telling Paul that his coffee is behind him when he moans at her about its whereabouts. He isn't impressed at the piece of tinsel on the lid either and finds out from her about the Christmas competition his paper is running.
Another one who is annoyed is Steph after Toadie tells her that Dan and Libby are going to go for counselling to see if that can sort out their marriage woes. She wants to know how he knows about the counselling and he replies that Lucas told him, which annoys her even more, so she asks Lyn if she can look after Charlie before leaving the store.
Charlie's
Lucas spots Steph entering the bar and he thinks it's because he's going to get told off for the mess #32 is in. However that isn't what she is in for and she's further miffed when she finds out from him that it was Libby who told him about the counselling
STEPH: I know things aren't great between us at the moment but this is big stuff. You know I would have thought she'd tell me.
LUCAS: I'm sure she'll get around to it.
STEPH: I just want us to be mates again.
Lucas then tries to offer himself for a hug but she rejects his offer and leaves.
Meanwhile, Rebecca has spotted an advert in the paper for the Christmas competition Lyn told Paul about - The Erinsborough News Christmas Spirit Competition that is open to all local businesses although she doesn't think that she will enter because Paul owns the paper. Paul shows her the small print (as judged by an independent expert) and gets her to enter when he mentions that Lyn is.
REBECCA: Well I can out spirit Lyn Scully.
Beach
Zeke returns with tickets for the all-ages dance that is happening that evening. Ringo wonders where Donna is and Zeke points her out as she (and Kate) make their way along the beach accompanied by the volleyball players...the male volleyball players. They lose the guys just as they reach Zeke, Declan and Ringo.
DONNA: You guys should have seen it, he had his tongue out.
KATE: I think he would have been into any girl who gave him a bit of attention.
DECLAN: Yes, and I bet you gave him heaps of attention.
Ouch! Ringo isn't amused either at what he thinks is Donna going off with other guys trying to make him jealous and tells her it's immature and he isn't playing that game.
DONNA: Can you just chill out and stop acting like a fifty year old.
RINGO: (before walking off) Whatever.
DONNA: And what is with that? I mean this guy was totally into Kate.
KATE: (embarrassed) Donna, Donna.
DONNA: And you go all caveman and stuff. I mean she could have got his number or something. Its just like you guys don't want us to have any fun at all.
All-ages dance
The teens are queuing to get inside and Zeke goes down the queue handing the tickets out telling them to have a good time.
Kate pulls Declan aside so they can talk and clear the air between them but Declan thinks there is nothing to talk about even if you could cut the atmosphere with a knife!
Kate rejoins the queue but with Donna this time as the promoter guy comes out to tell the waiting punters to be patient and not push because they will all get in. He takes a fancy to Donna and invites her (and Kate) to queue jump straight into the club.
Harold's Store
Rebecca is in to buy the ingredients for mince pies but they're suddenly out of stock. Lyn takes delight in telling her that Paul hates them but Rebecca replies that the pies are for the customers not Paul.
LYN: So, baking up a storm for the Christmas spirit competition?
REBECCA: Yes I am. I hope you're not scared of a bit of healthy competition?
LYN: Bring it on! Sorry I couldn't help with your order.
REBECCA: That's the spirit.
All-ages dance
Donna is trying to deny Kate's accusations that Andrew (they did the intro's as they were queue jumping) is into her just because he's been buying them drinks all night. Kate brings up the 'R' word and at the other side of the club we see Ringo standing drinking at a table with Declan. Donna says that it's the guys own fault if they don't have a good time tonight just as Andrew arrives with more drinks for Kate and herself.
Harold's Store
Toadie's nose has sniffed out Lyn's homemade mince pies and is tempted by her offering him some for free.
TOADIE: Oh Lynnie, you are a goddess.
There is a catch though... and she leads him into the kitchen where a new batch is just cooked.
Number 22
...and the catch was he'd to deliver some to Paul! Paul isn't pleased at his pressie especially when Toadie passes them under his nose to smell causing him to feel very nauseous! He orders Toadie to take them away just a Rebecca comes downstairs and who is fuming at Lyn putting one over her.
PAUL: She's good but she's not afraid to play hard you know.
REBECCA: Well we can play harder.
All-ages dance
Donna is in the mood for dancing but Ringo wants them to go for a walk on the beach, so she sends him away and resumes dancing. In the background, Andrew watches her before eventually approaching her to say she looks amazing and to keep on dancing because people love her.
Commercial break later and Donna is still strutting her stuff. Ringo isn't amused one bit but Andrew is.
Later on, Donna is at the bar and Andrew approaches her to complement her on her shrug-olero. She tells him about it and that she is going to start production in the New Year and he tells her that this dance is his business.
DONNA: It's impressive.
ANDREW: And so are you.
DONNA: Well I'm glad someone sees it that way.
Andrew asks her who the guy was that was giving him the evil eye as she danced and Donna replies "no-one".
Harold's Store
Lucas comes straight to the point after Libby arrives to tell her that Steph's cut up because she thinks Libby is avoiding her. Libby's silence confirms Lucas' (and Steph's) suspicions and he urges her to talk to Steph but Libby feels she can't because of the time that has passed. "Shutting her out is what will make it worse" he tells her, so Libby says she'll talk to Steph.
Charlie's
And we cut to the bar where Libby and Steph are hugging after making up. Over a glass of wine, Steph tells Libby about the crazy thought she had about Libby and Lucas, which Libby instantly dismisses. Lib turns it around by asking how the two of them are and Steph replies "its okay" and that she is going to take Lucas out bike shopping since he's after a new bike.
LIBBY: Ooh, would that be like a date?
STEPH: No, it's not a date exactly; I haven't even suggested it yet.
Steph then asks Libby about the counselling and she tells Steph that she had to apply pressure to Dan to get him to agree because ultimately they both want the marriage to work. "Cheers to that" they both say before Libby concedes that she's missed Steph. "I've missed you too" Steph replies.
All-ages dance
Zeke and Mia finish chatting about what they are going to do post school (she wants to do law)...
Teen's apartment
... to spend some quiet time alone with each other. However just as things are about to get interesting, Mia's handbag falls to the floor and Zeke isn't impressed with the fake ID's that fell out of it. He tries to put it behind them so they can become intimate but Mia decides its time to head back to her apartment.
All-ages dance
Donna and Andrew are pashing each others faces off as we return from the commercial break. Andrew offers to get Donna a taxi but she rejects that and goes with his suggestion of his place!
