Ramsay Street
Zeke chases after Sunny wanting to know what will happen to them, he loves her. She says that Susan and Karl need him.
ZEKE: Susan and Karl will be fine.
SUNNY: And Libby will be fine and Dan and Ben? They're you're family.
Because Zeke has the magic answer to Libby and Dan's problems! He tells her he only wants to be with her. Sunny can't accept that answer and walks away.
Number 28
Sunny is booked on the last flight. Zeke wants to know what she'll tell Karl and Susan and Donna and Kate and Ringo and Declan. Sunny thinks they all have enough on their plate at the moment and would like Zeke to get her cases from the garage.
Number 24
Kate is cooking and Sophie is getting impatient waiting for Harry to call them. He eventually shows up on the webcam. They tell him that they're missing him and he puts a brave face on and gives them a mini tour of his new place. He has to go and shoot some hoops so they say their goodbyes. Sophie doesn't think it sounds like he misses them that much, but Harry's face as he looks at a photo of them all tells a different story.
Harold's
Gone are the huge milkshakes and instead a healthy platter sits in front of a grinning Lou, an unimpressed combed over Callum and a bunch of random extra children. Paul's photographer snaps away hoping to get a shot that will convince the DHS that he is fit to be Harry's guardian.
PAUL: Try to look like you don't flog stuff out the back of the pub would you?
Charlie's
Paul moans to Rebecca that it is difficult to find something to work with to make Lou seem wholesome. Oh you can talk Paul! Rebecca reminds him he could sell snow to Eskimos . She thinks people are going to start to get the wrong idea about him.
REBECCA: You've been taking India for walks.
PAUL: Only because her crying gets to me.
REBECCA: And you convinced Donna to come home.
PAUL: Only because if I didn't you'd have kicked me out.
REBECA: Yeah, and now you're putting everything into getting Harry Ramsay back. You're just a big softie aren't you!
PAUL:...who's about to strangle Lou Carpenter.
Sophie interrupts their snuggley lovey moment to drag Paul off to chivvy Operation Bring Harry Home along. She's worried that Harry will forget all about them.
REBECCA: Oh Sophie, you never forget about your family. I mean look at Paul here...
No, don't look at Paul, does he ever give a thought to his children, or his grandmother who must be dizzy from all the spinning she'll have been doing in her grave. Uncle Paul the family man and Sophie go back to the store to speed things up.
Basket Ball Court
Harry shoots some hoops and is joined by Declan who is pretty much awesome at everything. They share some basketball banter before Dec asks how things are going at the foster home. Harry is suitably vague but seems to be hiding an arm injury inflicted by a lumpy bed.
DECLAN: Bet you can't wait to get home.
HARRY: I've just got to sit tight, play by the DHS's rules. I stuffed up before, I don't want to go through that again.
Declan asks about the other kids, but Harry would rather play some ball than have a D&M.
Harold's
Things are clearly moving on the DHS front because Toadie is pacing wearing his suit. Lou tries to make out that he and Ros go waaaaay back and share an interest in pirates. Er..yeah, whatever Lou. Toadie tries to get Lou to be serious and brings up the subject of finances. Paul goes off to ring his business manager.
Number 28
Sunny appears to be icing a Yule Log. There are presents wrapped on the table and suitcases organised by the door. I never understand how Ramsay Street residents are so quick at packing up *all* their belongings. Zeke comes in and Sunny tells him that she has a cab booked and that she has presents organised for everyone. Zeke says she can give them to them herself and the gang all pile in as Sunny protests she told him not to tell anyone. They ask her to let them say goodbye.
Lassiters Lake
The teens chill out in the park reminiscing over the past year as they look at a photo album someone has put together really quickly for Sunny.
DONNA: I thought you were so up yourself the first time I met you.
EVERONE: Donna!
DONNA: No, I mean she was just so angry and stormy all the time.
Sunny agrees and thanks them all so much for the album and for everything. Zeke assures her there's more to come...
Harold's
Paul has transferred $10,000 to Lou's account but makes it clear that it is only a loan and he expects to be paid back in full. Lou swipes Toadie's netbook to check his account and sees that in actual fact $100,000 has been transferred. ( And that he rather splashed the cash on the 18th Nov!) He is shocked but keeps schutm. Paul feels peckish.
PAUL: Jumilla, what cakes have you got today?
JUMILLA: Well Paul, if you came up to the counter you might find out.
PAUL: Between her and Lyn it's a wonder this place stays afloat!
He stalks off to find something to keep him sweet and Toadie wants to know what's up. Paul has loaned Lou ten grand and Lou isn't gloating. He wrestles his netbook off Lou and sees the hundred grand. Immediately he says that he has to give it back.
LOU: Ten grand, yes, absolutely. The rest is fair game.
He goes off to prepare for the DHS leaving Toadie doing a good impression of a guppy.
Charlie's
The teens arrive and something is up with Sunny that Kate and Donna can't get to the bottom of. Before they can probe any further the lights are dimmed and Zeke grabs a mike to announce all the way from the Land of the Morning Calm (I think that's S.Korea) the Black Skirts! Sunny is totally overwhelmed and Zeke confesses he called in a favour from Pirate Net. The lead singer invites Sunny to the stage to help them out with backing vocals. Donna and Kate join her and everyone rocks out, except Zeke who is just bummed out.
After the break the set is over and all the girls have adjourned to the bathroom. Zeke thanks Rebecca for putting the band on at short notice. Rebecca loved it and says that Sunny did too, it was a lovely thing to do and he's really brought Sunny out of her shell. Zeke avoids an emotional display by going to find Ringo. Rebecca tells Declan Zeke is going to need him.
Paul doesn't know what he was thinking backing Lou to be the Ramsays' guardian. Rebecca can't believe he's nervous about the DHS interview. I think he's more nervous about not seeing that ten grand again. Sophie comes in to see how things are going and Harry leaps out at her. Toadie and Lou join the party and announce that Lou got it! It doesn't mean that Harry can come home just yet though, the application still has to be properly processed which could take a few weeks (so that'll be tomorrow in Erinsborough time). Sophie gets angry. Harry takes her to one side and calms her down, it's just a couple more weeks. Juuust a couple more weeks of a "lumpy bed" if that's what they're calling being beaten up these days...
Ramsay Street
Just as when Sunny arrived the teens are congregated around a taxi waiting for her. Zeke says that Sunny won't even give him her skype address. She comes out of the house and hugs Kate and Donna and then Declan and Ringo. Ringo gives her the kangaroo they tried to give her when she first arrived (I think it's shrunk though...). Zeke tries to make some heartfelt speech but Sunny won't let him. She kisses him on the cheek, says goodbye and gets into the taxi. The taxi pulls away and against all tradition we don't see it drive down the street and indicate left at the end.
Number 28
A tearful Zeke sits with Audrey who seems similarly glum. Eventually he gets up and heads over to his laptop where he finds a new video icon on his desktop. He opens the file to find a message from Sunny.
SUNNY: Hey Zeke, I'm glad you've found this. Right now I think you've that frown line, the frown on your forehead you know the... the frown lines.... Grrr! (she laughs) Don't worry, it's cute! Ok, um, I couldn't say this to your face because I know I'd start crying and then you'd hug me and then I'd hug you and then I wouldn't be able to go home and I need to go. Don't shake your head at me, you know it's true. Susan and Karl need you and my parents... You...you changed my world Zeke Kinski and even though I didn't have that girlfriend handbook thing it really doesn't matter 'cause I'll never forget you. I love you.
ZEKE: I love you too.
Harry's Foster Home
Harry goes into his room and finds it totally trashed. All his belongings everywhere. He gets to work clearing up and comes across a photo of Kate, Sophie and him torn in half and with "Watch Yourself" written on the back...
