Number 22
Sophie and Harry offer to do the washing up so that a reluctant Kate can put her feet up. Harry really believes that she's in with a shot at the showcase. Donna appears and apologises for how she's been acting and offers Kate a foot spa! Donna sees Kate's feet and looks pretty shocked (perhaps they are hobbit feet!)

Number 24
They're not hobbit feet. Donna tells Ringo that Kate's feet are "wrecked". Donna says it's all her fault and she doesn't deserve a friend like Kate, nor a boyfriend like Ringo. RIngo tries to convince her otherwise saying that she's a kind person. Donna tells Ringo that Saffron liked one of her designs. He tries to hug her, but she pushes him away.

RINGO: What's wrong?
DONNA: It's not my best work.
RINGO: So design something better...?
DONNA: Sure, I'll just push my creativity button and press print!

Donna thinks it's too late, but RIngo convinces her to give it another go.

Number 22
Sophie has mail! She's won an excellence award from Erinsborough Primary for a story she wrote about dinosaurs. Harry asks if he and Kate can go, and when is it. Sophie looks at the invitation and then passes it to Harry - same day as the showcase.

CALLUM: Bummer.

Harold's Store
Harry tells Sophie that they'll figure something else. Libby comes over being the proud parent - Ben got an award for his science project! (Enter Kate) Libby said she thought Sophie would have got one for her story - as Ben says she's the best writer in the class. Sophie says she must have just missed out, and that there's always next year. Libby goes to do her shopping and Kate asks if Sophie is upset, and Sophie thinks that it's just a dumb award. Kate goes to get their blueberry pancakes. Harry wonders why Sophie didn't say anything.

SOPHIE: Stop hassling me, alright? Otherwise you won't get any of my pancakes!

Charlie's Bar
Toadie, Libby and Karl are talking about Libby and Dan moving out. Karl has a face like thunder. So much more room for everyone! Toadie is excited:

TOADIE: Control of the remote. Room in the fridge. No longer busy in the bathroom. TOILET SEAT UP, YEAH BABY! [goes to high five Karl]

Callum appears and Toadie gives him Rocky to take for a walk. Toadie gets a phone call and leaves Libby and Karl to it.

KARL: You haven't spoken to Dan yet, have you?
LIBBY: Not yet...

Libby promises to talk to him.

Number 22
Kate's brought cupcakes 'round for Donna. She admires Donna's work, wishing she could draw.

KATE: Some of us struggle with stick figures.
DONNA: Some of us aren't brilliant dancers.

Kate notices a picture (the one that Donna copied from the internet) and loves it. Donna throws it away - it wasn't finished. Kate tells Donna to believe in herself and she'll get discovered.

Number 24
Harry and Sophie talk. Sophie says she can't tell Kate because Kate will want to be there and dancing is everything to her - she loves it. Harry thinks that Sophie will be disappointed if Kate isn't there. Sophie replies that she wants mum to be there, but that's not happening either.

SOPHIE: As long as you're there.
HARRY: Well, I am so going to be there.

Harry promises to embarrass her, like Libby did Ben earlier. He then tickles Sophie.

Ramsay Street
Callum thinks the fact that Sophie has to get up infront of the whole school and get her award is "lame". Sophie says he's just jealous! Toadie says hello to the next JK Rowling and Sophie says she doesn't want it spread around.

Callum shows Toadie that Rocky can sit, on command, first time. Callum's glad he's good at something.

TOADIE: What are you talking about? You're a legend.

They do the manly fist/punchy thing and it's sweet!

Donna runs up - she needs a reluctant Sophie to model for her. She drags her off. Toadie doesn't understand and Harry agrees - he'll never understand Donna. Toadie says Harry and Kate must be proud of Sophie. Harry says he is, but he hasn't told Kate yet because it's on the same day as her showcase. Toadie thinks he'd want to know if Callum was getting an award.

Number 22
Donna has done something horrendous with Sophie's hair. She looks like a traffic cone (with a red dress on as well!) Donna chokes her with hairspray. Ringo comments that the hair is cyclone proof. Donna gets Sophie to pose and then lets her go.

Number 32
CALLUM: What happened to your hair?
SOPHIE: Donna happened.

Sophie asks Callum to keep her award a secret. Callum thinks there are too many secrets, at the moment. No-one tells him anything.

Ben runs in to help with Rocky's training. Can he help?

CALLUM: That depends. Anything you'd like to tell me...?
BEN: Errmmm....there's something wrong with Sophie's hair?

[Callum gives him a snarl]

BEN: Ooooh! You mean my award!
CALLUM: No, not that. Wait...you got one too?!
BEN: Yeah. For my science project.
CALLUM: Oh man!
BEN: Who else got one?
CALLUM: [pointing to Sophie] She did.
SOPHIE: I told you not to tell!
BEN: But you said you didn't get one.
SOPHIE: I just didn't want Kate to find out.
BEN: But you lied!
CALLUM: Yeah, she's not the only one. When were you going to tell me you were moving?

Ben looks blank. He didn't know they were moving!

Number 28
Libby is telling Ben about the move. Although they haven't decided yet, but they've been leant the money.

BEN: How many rooms does it have?
LIBBY: It's Steph's old place, you know it.

Haha, well diverted! Ramsay Street houses...the houses with infinite rooms!

Ben is excited to have his own room and have all his posters up! He's really excited about the move and runs off.

Karl walks in and comments that Ben's excited. Libby says he is - he gets his own room. Karl makes a noise in agreement.

LIBBY: Don't start. [Karl stays silent] You know, I'm a grown woman. I'm married, I have a child, I have another one on the way - I don't want to live in a share house anymore.
KARL: I know.
LIBBY: It's so crowded there with Toadie and Lucas and Callum and that dog. [She sighs] I want Ben to have a room where he can put up his posters.
KARL: [he takes her hand]I know that.
LIBBY: [becoming teary] I want a home. [she pauses, and looks at Karl] I miss Dan.

She starts to cry and Karl pulls her in for a father-daughter hug. Aww!

Number 24
Kate's packing her bag for the showcase - she doesn't want to forget anything. Kate thanks Harry - if it wasn't for him she wouldn't be doing this. She asks Harry to go with her, and after some gentle persuasion, he agrees.

Harold's Store
Harry has got Sophie a milkshake, with an extra ice-cream. She can see through it though - it's a bribe. Harry admits that he agreed to go to the showcase with Kate.

SOPHIE: You ditched me?!
HARRY: She really needed me to go. You know how she gets. She never asks us to do anything...she got all emotional , I just couldn't handle it.
SOPHIE: Well, what happens if I get all emotional, what will you do then, huh?
HARRY: Then I'd have to run away and hide because if I was forced to choose between you, I never could do it.

Harry wishes they could tell her - because she's be so proud. He apologises and Sophie says it's OK - Kate needs it more.

Number 22
Donna's on the phone trying to convince Saffron that her new design is better. But it's too late. Ringo doesn't understand - she'll still get her name out there.

DONNA: That's what I'm afraid of.

Ringo doesn't understand, and Donna says she's afraid it'll all go wrong and not work out. Ringo tells her she's really talented and she just needs to relax.

Charlie's Bar
Libby approaches Karl and Toadie - she's tried getting in touch with Dan but they keep missing each other (she left a message, he left a message, she left a message etc!). In the meantime Toadie wants to resent Callum with an award for the best Puppy Guide Dog Raiser. Callum sees through hit - is it to make him feel better?

TOADIE: Yeah, is it working?
CALLUM: [lying]Yeah.
TOADIE: No?
CALLUM: No.

Libby's phone rings and she answers it. Toadie gives Callum some money.

CALLUM: Are you buying my off?
TOADIE: Yeah. Is it working?
CALLUM: Yeah!
TOADIE: Sweet! [they high five]

Libby's not on the phone to Dan, but it's the bank. She's outraged! Dan's transferred $12,000 dollars from their shared account into Sam's account. She tells the bank she'll ring them back. Libby tells Karl and Toadie what's happened and that the bank may not give them a loan now as they don't ahv enough money for a deposit.

LIBBY: That was our money. And he gave it to Sam.

Number 24
Harry wins a game of Monopoly against Sophie and Callum. Sophie gets Callum a book and Harry says he knows Kate is freaking out about the showcase. Kate says she's better now that Harry is going with her. Callum comes out with Sophie's book. Kate's shocked - that was one of Sophies favourites.

CALLUM: Yeah, she said it was her inspiration.

Kate's confused. Callum lets slip about the story. He said he promised he wouldn't say anything and closes his eyes.

KATE: Callum, open your eyes. [he opens them] Tell me.
CALLUM: She won an award at school.
KATE: Why wouldn't she tell me?
CALLUM: Because it's on at the same time as your dancing thing and she didn't want you to feel bad.

Later...
Kate is looking thoughtful. Tentatively, and quite emotionally (and after a dancing flashback) Kate picks up the phone and dials the Ministry of Dance number.

KATE: Hi. This is Kate Ramsay. I won't be coming to anymore classes. And I'm withdrawing from the showcase performance. I'm sorry.

FVO: And Dan's home from his ex.
(Libby and Dan argue)
LIBBY: Do you still love her?
DAN: Don't be stupid Libby!
FVO: Can she trust anything Dan says?
(Dan's phone is ringing - screen says "Sam")
LIBBY: Who is it?
(Susan looking mightily unimpressed)
