Number 30
Libby is preparing an injection for the hormones. Dan walks in and freaks out about the needle and bumps into Toadie. Libby says she'll put away the scary needle and suggests that partners are meant to help with injections. Dan looks like he's going to throw up at the thought and Toadie tells him to man up. Dan says he's ok now and walks over to help. Libby tells him its ok and he doesn't have to but he does anyway. Libby holds up the needle and Dan passes out. He then comes to, wondering what happened and Toadie puts on a big grin.
TOADIE: Do we need to call a 'wambulance'?
Later on and Karl is over, telling Dan how it's done and demonstrates the needle is in a dart like motion. Dan is finding it difficult to handle and sits down, Toadie grinning and commenting on his struggle. When Karl finishes explaining how to inject, Libby asks how Susan is.
KARL: Well, put it this way: your call saved my life!
LIBBY: Oh, he just needed a few 'pointers'!
Karl heads home and Ben comes in asking to go to the garage. He says it's for a school assigment to do a project on someone he looks up to in the family and he picked Lucas. Ben thinks he's cool for taking him riding, working on cars and previously being a motorbike racer.
Number 28
Susan is yelling in pain from Karl giving her the injection and says she's a wife, not a dartboard. Karl says he's done many injections in one day and Susan says he still can't get it right and no wonder he's suspended. That hit Karl hard and Susan apologizes. The hormones are making her snappy.
SUSAN: I'm fine one moment and then I'm the Incredible Hulk!
KARL: Not quite, darling. He had nice moments.
(Susan suddenly bursts out into tears, talks in a squeaky, upset voice and Karl comforts her.)
SUSAN: I just don't know what I'm going to be feeling, one minute to the next! And then it's the hospital!
KARL: With any luck, Toadie'll have a win and we can start everything as planned.
There's a knock on the door and Susan goes angry asking why people can't leave her alone. Harry's at the door and she welcomes him nicely. Harry begins talking politely, wondering if it was a good time to visit but Susan's suddenly furious that she's just vacuumed and he hasn't wiped his feet. Karl tells her to calm down and she starts apologizing to Harry but he still ends up leaving, sorry himself for hassling her and wrecking her floor.
Garage
Ben is questioning Lucas about his bikes and asks if he was scared of riding them for testing. Lucas says he was never scared and even loved the big bikes. Steph arrives and asks for a tool. Ben then asks why Lucas isn't racing anymore and Lucas says you can't live that kind of life forever. Ben asks what he does now and Lucas replies he's got the garage and he's living with Elle but Ben was looking for more exciting stuff. Lucas doesn't have much of an answer for that one.
Later on, Lucas can't concentrate on paperwork and catches sight of a motorbike racer on his calendar. He relives his racing days and we hear his old races in his mind. There's a flashback of him and Dan racing as there's commentary. Lucas is told by a moody Steph that he has another customer. Miranda arrives saying that Steve booked the car in for a service and Lucas books it in, telling her he'll call her when it's ready. She says Lucas looks like he could do with a break. He gets on the phone suggesting to the person on the other line (possibly Elle) that they go on a bike. Steph overhears him as he says that work can wait and that he just wanted some fun. Steph leaves as Lucas hangs up and Johnno arrives wanting the £4000. Lucas says that he took a couple hundred from the till so it's now £3800. Lucas doesn't have it and Johnno's about to smash the windscreen on the Parkers car. Lucas stops him and says he'll get the money.
Erinsborough Hospital
Toadie is thinking of different ways to start his speech., leading to him to think what he's doing. Jodie tells him the board is ready to see him.
In the meeting, Toadie starts off by thanking the board and the head of the board, Doctor Rode, immediately says he was out of line. He also comments that he's a friend of the Kennedys but Toadie thinks the decision the board has made is legally flawed. He says Dr Olenski approved the surrogacy on medical grounds. Toadie says on how the patients would not be medically harmed and it would face bad publicity. Dr Rode turns it around to it being unfortunate to the Kennedys. He says Libby's record is less than spotless and Karl's marital past is complicated. He says that if this is dragged into a public fight, the Kennedys would get out of it very well.
Harold's Store

KARL: Hide the knives
After telling Karl not to push his luck when he didn't tell her what they were talking about, Susan goes to Harry to explain herself about the medication. She says she enjoyed his music the other day and would love to hear more of it, and she says that rather snappily. Thanks to the hormones, she can't even compliment without it sounding harsh. Harry leaves and Susan and Karl find Toadie and ask him how everything went.
Number 30
Toadie explains that they don't have the money for the case. They all start suggesting ways to earn more money but Toadie says that Brian Rodes will drag this out dry. They could lose everything and end up with massive debts. Toadie begs them not to go down that road. They unhappily accept.
Harold's Store

They tell Libby about it and Dan goes back to the table from ordering drinks and says they can go if it's too hard. Libby says she has to get used to it and gets up to see India. Bridget offers Libby a hold of her and Libby accepts. She gets choked up and gives her back to Bridget before walking out the door. Lucas approaches Steph eating lunch and asks if they could just get over this. Lucas says they got carried away and said things they didn't mean but Steph meant every word. She gets up and leaves as Dan walks in and asks what the deal is with Steph giving him a dirty look but Lucas says everything's ok. Dan says Ben wants a photo of him on his bike but Lucas says he can't do it.
DAN: Mate, he's busting his gun on this, don't be a goose.
Lucas gets angry, almost sounding hormonal, and says he didn't exactly ask Ben to pick him. Dan says Ben thinks he's a hero but Lucas brings it to Dan being the hero. Lucas also says he's sick and tired of playing happy families. Dan explains everything that's going on about the hospital and sarcastically thanks Lucas for his support through everything.
Garage
Lucas gives Steph the rest of the day off, he can close up. Steph tells him not to think that's an apology, Lucas very much denying he's got nothing to apologize for. She leaves and we see Lucas' motorbike calendar on the wall and we hear the motorbike revving up in the background again.
Number 26's Garage
Susan's cleaning and her eyes drift over to the keyboard in the middle of the room. She goes over and plays the only tune she knows: chopsticks. Harry walks in and offers to play, wiping his feet before he walks in. He plays and Susan snaps to turn it down. She apologizes and says she's a crabby person and Harry says she should have seen his mum sometimes. Harry begins playing Fur Elise by Beethoven (if only they had a proper piano, it would sound so much better than it already does!) as Susan says he's about the only person who can stand being around her.
Ramsay St
Dan drives home and asks Ben where Libby is. Ben tells her she's inside and something's up: she keeps saying she loves him. Lucas races up on his motorbike and Ben excitedly goes to get his camera after Lucas asking about the shots. Erinsborough Hospital
There's baby after baby in hospital and Karl notices it too, saying she wasn't kidding when she was working the phones. Libby asks Susan if she's ok but she was angry before and now she's about to cry. Libby says Bridget's amazing and learns even more are coming. Miranda's worried about Bridget taking on too much but Didge says it's important. Toadie turns up, telling them to shut this whole thing down. He admits Brian Rode threatened him saying that if they wanted to take this public, he would take them through the media about all of their personal lives. He again very seriously tells them to shut it down but Libby says no.
Brian Rode appears and confronts Jodie but she says it's not her problem. Bridget says they're not going anywhere until Libby gets treatment. He says it's not their concern and that it's a public hospital so Bridget argues that everyone should get the same right to treatment. Brian harshly points his finger at Didge in a violent gesture as Susan snaps a photo of it. Brian leaves and Bridget shouts after him that everyone deserves treatment. The police arrive and Bridget continues to shout, despite the cops telling her to calm down. Miranda begins shouting at Bridget to stop and another cop tries telling her to calm down, taking her shoulder and Miranda telling her to get off. Bridget becomes defensive and tells her to get away from her child, pushing the cop over. Uh, oh, Bridget's in trouble. She's been arrested for pushing over a cop.
