Police Station
Rebecca is being questioned and says they weren't running away after being accused of it. It was a romantic holiday and Paul didn't mention anything of Jill Ramsay. Skinner says that because Rebecca is his partner, Paul's not the only one to benefit for Jill Ramsay's death. Rebecca's insulted and Toadie says that if there's nothing specific to put to Rebecca he'll advise Rebecca not to say anything else. There's nothing that Skinner has to say.
Number 26
Toadie says Skinner won't back down but Rebecca has nothing to hide apart from Paul, which Toadie points out clearly. Rebecca doesn't know where he is even if they are in contact and Toadie points out that he called her and she lied to him about it. Toadie says he's not doing any good and causing Rebecca grief and Rebecca says no one knows about it, not even Declan. Toadie tells her not to lie to him again.
Number 28
Sunny and Zeke are playing scrabble and Zeke comes up with the word 'maladroit' to which he claims to have forgotten what it means. Zeke changes the subject to Susan's famous stash and goes to get it saying if you replace it, you can take as much as you want. Whilst he's distracted himself Sunny finds maladroit in the dictionary within 6 seconds and is angry that Zeke chose that word, which means unskilful, tactless and awkward. Zeke says it was the letters he got and Sunny interrogates him that it was just the letters. Zeke says maladroit would not be the way to describe her.
Jeez it's only a scrabble game!
SUNNY: What would it be?
ZEKE: Something a lot shorter.
SUNNY: Gawky. Dumb. Stupid.
ZEKE: I was thinking hot.
Sunny goes all coy as Zeke goes in to kiss her but she dodges. Zeke wants to know what's wrong and Sunny says that she's never kissed a guy before and gets embarrassed by her braces. Zeke says they don't matter and it's time to break Karl's rule and go out.
Gym
Ringo's on the phone to Sunny and is begging her to help him write the letters as Donna loves them. She's just hung up on him and he gets ready to try his own letter. Donna comes up and says that he's such a romantic and Declan never knew it. Ringo turns embarrassed at the thought of Declan reading a letter when he caught Donna reading one.
DONNA: Don't be embarrassed. I told him that your words were as good as your abs. And that's saying something.
Donna wants to know when she'll get the next letter, which is soon, and she's so excited. She leaves and Ringo's face says he's stuck in a muddle.
Harold's Store
Libby walks in and Steve greets them and asks about the babies. Steve sees the pictures and notices they have her eyes and the strong family resemblance. Dan looks on as they talk about Bridget being a mum and as soon as Steve leaves, Dan approaches her about baby Grace asking if she's ok. Libby says she's fine and its just what she needed. Libby wonders is Steph and Greg would like to go to dinner tonight but Dan asks if Steph's told her about Greg
Number 32
Steph opens the door to Libby and they both squeal and hug. Libby asks why Steph didn't call but Steph says there wasn't much to talk about and she was busy. Steph says they broke up for the right reasons and asks about the twins. Libby says Billy and Anne are amazing parents and shows Steph the photos. Libby quickly puts them away and says that they both need a girls night out like they did in Shepparton (episode 5388) and Libby insists that it's what they need. She goes off to tell Dan that she won't be home tonight, doing a little dance, and Steph looks concerned.
Number 28
Sunny is showing Donna her different dresses and none of them are good. Sunny says her outfit doesn't have to be perfect but she obviously doesn't know about the first date rules, one of them being the outfit has to be perfect. Not that she should feel any pressure, which she doesn't. Sunny turns to one side to check her breath and Donna susses that she's going to kiss Zeke. Squee! Donna's so excited and happy.
DONNA: It's so sweet and awesome it makes me wanna bake scones!
SUNNY: What?
DONNA: Never mind.
SUNNY: Hey, look, do you think my braces are going to get in the way?
DONNA: The way Zeke looks at you, I don't think anything's going to be getting in the way.
Donna tells her to just take precautions and gives her breath fresheners and a dress she thinks is perfect.
DONNA: I can't believe how Disney everything's working out for us. You and Zeke, me and Ringo.
Donna says that Ringo's working on her next letter and she's so excited. Sunny looks anxious.
Gym
Ringo is working out and Sunny asks him what he's doing, writing more letters to Donna. He says he tried to tell her but it was like smacking a puppy. Donna comes in and tells him she can't wait for his next one and gives him a quick kiss and runs off. Sunny calls after her and is about to tell her but instead thanks her for the breath fresheners. Donna welcomes her and walks out and Sunny turns back to Ringo and says she promised Zeke she wouldn't write another letter when Ringo asks her to write one more letter. Sunny tells him to write from the heart. Ringo looks completely lost for what to say and Sunny caves and says she'll write one more letter.
Number 22
Donna finds the letter at the letter and talks to Cat, considering to save it like chocolate, or in Cat's case, sardines. Donna's changes her mind and opens the letter, letting a little squeal out, reading it and says Ringo's so the one. Cat just looks around and you can almost tell she's wondering what the hell Donna's on about.
Harold's Store
Steve is helping Ringo, Zeke and Sunny with their work about different cells.
SUNNY: So, an example of some of the organelles within a eukaryotic cell might be?
STEVE: Ok, you've got your nucleus, your mitochondrion, your doofus', your dingbats and your flying spaghetti monsters.
Sprung! Steve says he thought it was meant to be a research assignment and Zeke says it is but they just went to the source. Steve doesn't buy it. Donna walks in, happy and drugged up with love letters and she drags Ringo away for something romantic after commenting on how lovely his last letter was. Zeke's not happy and questions Sunny thinking she wouldn't write any more letters, but Ringo was desperate. Zeke says Ringo's always desperate and is angry she lied to him, even if she thought it was the right thing. He says she needs to stop because it's cruel to Donna.
Lassiter's Complex
Skinner finds Steve and congratulates him on his becoming a grandfather. He wants to ask questions about the Jill Ramsay case and Steve finds it typical that they can't find Paul to ask him about it. Skinner says it must be worrying having his partner living under his roof but he states it's not his roof anymore. Skinner asks if they spoke of Paul's grandmothers will or Jill Ramsay. Steve is angry they're suspecting Rebecca to have something to do with Jill's death as she wouldn't hurt a fly and storms off.
Number 26
Rebecca is building a desk or something in the living room and Declan says he doesn't understand how she could let Paul take advantage of him saying it's simple: good times, Paul's there, bad times, Paul's gone. All you need is a Peter and you've got the Dicky Birds!
REBECCA: He didn't do it, you know.
DECLAN: Maybe you should start worrying about yourself. You're the one who's being dragged down to the police station.
REBECCA: You know about that?
DECLAN: Steve told me.
Rebecca apologizes that it must have been embarrassing for him and Declan says she shouldn't be an idiot. She's the strongest woman he knows and can't believe she's letting Paul take her for a ride. Rebecca asks if Declan still believes Paul didn't do it and just says maybe. Rebecca tells Declan to trust her.
Lassiters Park
Donna and Ringo are lying on the deck, look up at the clouds, Donna finding one that looks like Angelina holding her baby orphan. Ringo finds a car in the clouds. Donna says he'll be fine in biology and she believes he can do it. Ringo takes her hand and says he doesn't deserve her but Donna says they may have had a colourful past but now everything's perfect. Donna asks him to talk like in his letters. He gives it a go but screws up and Donna figures out he didn't write them. He says he means every words. She wants to know who wrote them and Ringo says he got them from the internet and Donna walks off, pretty angry.
Number 32
Libby returns with lots of dresses and champagne. Steph says she's not in the mood for a girls night out, but Libby is adamant she goes out. Steph just wants to put on her favourite jammies and watch TV. Lib asks her to come out, with a please, and Steph says its not about her. Libby tries to hide it and Steph wants to know what's wrong. Lib says it's nothing and Steph says it must have been hard to have seen the babies. Steph says she should go home and spend the night with her boys as she needs to talk to Dan about this.
Charlie's
Sunny tries to call Zeke but gets his answer phone, which starts with "Howdy Doody!" Great way to start of a message. Sunny wants to talk to him and hopes to still have that meal. Sunny bumps into Dan who asks where Zeke is but she doesn't know. She gets a message from Donna and tells Dan she's fine.
Dan brings the drinks to his and Ben's table and Libby rocks up to join them asking what happened to dinner.
DAN: There was a bit of an incident with the spag bol.
BEN: You said chocolate makes everything taste better.
DAN: Not chocolate mate!
Dan asks what happened to the girls night out and Libby said she wasn't in the mood. Steph also said that Libby left hours ago after leaving her wallet behind and Dan called Steph because Libby's phone was off. Ben goes off to order desert and Libby asks what Steph said. She said that Dan should talk to Libby and Libby says she made Steph a promise never to dance on a bar in public again.
Number 28
Sunny let's Donna in and Donna asks if she has massive sucker written on her forehead. She's angry about the letters after making her feel so special. She starts to rip them up and complains that Ringo simply downloaded them from the net. Sunny says they're not from the net and made especially for her. Donna asks how she could know that and Sunny reveals that she wrote them.
Number 22
Sunny chases Donna into the house begging Donna to let her explain. Sunny says she and Ringo sent the letters because Ringo loves her but he couldn't say it properly. Sunny wants Donna to understand that Ringo really loves her and Sunny was the one who could say it.
SUNNY: It's in the way that you're never scared when you really are, it's the way you never let anything like embarrassment stop you from being who you are, it's the way you do anything for the people you love and the way you're so brave and so beautiful and so completely you.
Donna's gone all mushy, looking at Sunny with a smile. Donna stuns Sunny with a full frontal kiss and says it's loveliest thing anybody's ever said to her. Sunny is totally shocked. Donna says she didn't mean anything by it and just got carried away but Sunny says she stole her first kiss!
