Number 28
Ringo sits on his bed, staring at Zeke's bed across the room. Susan comes in, and they briefly say the memorial was good. Susan tells Ringo that she's just come off the phone to Katya who wants a hat that belonged to Zeke - but Ringo freaks out...he doesn't want Zeke's stuff being disturbed.
Susan quietly says goodnight, and leaves the room.
Number 22
Donna tells Sam that the memorial for Zeke was good, but she misses her siblings - the house is too quiet without them. Paul, on the other hand, is blissfully happy in the new silent house! Donna confides in Sam that this current set up is the closest thing she's ever had to a family, and she doesn't want to lose it. Sam assures Donna that Elle will look after her.
Number 28
Ringo can't sleep, and finally gets out of bed, carrying his duvet to the lounge to sleep on the sofa.
In the morning, Susan's up first, and sees Ringo asleep on the couch. Worried for him, she wonders how long he's been sleeping out in the lounge, and Ringo confesses that he hasn't slept in the room since they lost Zeke.
SUSAN: It's your room, too.
RINGO: No, it's not. It's his.
Ringo takes his duvet to the bedroom.
Number 22
Cassandra arrives.
CASS: Hi. What?
PAUL: Well, it...just the last time we were at a front door...
Cassandra has heard that there's a sales job at Erinsborough News, and she's interested. Paul seems keen to hear about her experience.
PAUL: Do you have any experience?
CASS: Yeah...I've sold some advertising space. Not in newspapers.
PAUL: Oh, what? Billboards? Magazines?
CASS: Er, no...more, erm, various parts of my person.
PAUL: Really.
Sam comes downstairs and Paul tells her that Cass is interested in the sales job - to which Sam retorts that it's already been filled. But Cass has Sam's number and knows she's not telling the truth.
Harold's Store
Miranda and Steph are having coffee when Cass comes in. She introduces herself to Steph, but wonders where Miranda's sexy husband is; apparently Steve is at home fixing the toilets.
But Cass is no longer interested because she's just seen Karl across the store, and pretends to sympathise with Steph that she feels for his son being missing. When Karl approaches the counter Cass suddenly has no money to pay for her coffee, so Karl offers to help out. She immediately launches upon him for a job at the hospital...she'd be so grateful if he could put in a good word for her.
Lost for words, Karl just smiles.
Lassiter's
In the complex, Ringo is musing over his tea. Dec and Didge join him and they talk about Zeke - they can no longer pretend he's still alive, and it's all weird. Declan and Bridget have to go, and when Cass sees Ringo, she asks to talk to him. She knows that Donna warned him off her, and she tells Ringo the 'truth' - it was actually Donna who went off with *her* boyfriend, not the other way around.
She leaves Ringo stewing over what he's heard.
Number 28
At number 28, Ringo is back home, and Susan announces that they're going to clear Zeke's room of his things. Didge, Dec and Donna are all there to help. Ringo's not keen, but Susan insists - they all have to deal with the fact that he's gone. Susan wants the kids to go through it and take whatever they want to. Rachel can't be there but she's okay with her friends doing the packing up.
In Zeke's room, the teens get about packing things into boxes - Declan gives his Dingoes' shirt to Donna, the unnamed branded MP3 player to Ringo.
Donna gets a call from Simon and storms out of Zeke's bedroom without a word and into...
Number 24
...the next scene where her mother is tarting herself up for the night. Simon has told Donna that their mum is after Paul Robinson. Donna is determined not to let Cass get away with it, especially as Sam already knows what Cass is up to. She reminds her mum that her home is with Paul and Elle, and she's not moving.
Erinsborough Hospital
In the waiting room, several interviewees wait to be interviewed about the secretarial job. Cass waltzes in and announces that it's been filled...she's so sorry, and she'll let her PA know that this is unacceptable...
The applicants all walk out, and Cass takes a seat herself to wait...
Number 28
In Zeke's room, the teens find a love song with lyrics that are apparently beautiful, and they wonder who he wrote it for. Susan overhears and walks in, and asks Declan and Didge to take the boxes through to the lounge. She takes the time to talk to Ringo - and shows him the pictures of Donna that Zeke took.
Ringo is furious and storms off. Susan calls out after him that she thinks it was a harmless crush - in which case, why throw such an enormous, giant, huge-esque cat amongst the previously happy and pecking away pigeons??!
Lassiter's
Ringo throws the photos down in front of Donna and demands to know what's going on. Donna is confused - she has no idea about the photos, and wonders what Ringo thought. Ringo says that after he spoke to Donna's mother this morning, he now things she and Zeke were together.
Furious and upset, Donna agrees that he caught her out - she and Zeke were *obviously* having an affair. Ringo, the idiot, believes every word of it, and storms off again. He's getting awfully good at that.
Donna sits there in tears.
Erinsborough Hospital
Nurse Jodie is taking Cass through the process of reviewing medical files. When she leaves, Cass takes a sneak peek at Sam's file, and notes that she has bipolar disorder. On cue, Sam walks in to see Doctor Olenski, surprised to see Cass in her new job.
Cut to moments later when Nurse Jodie walks in to see Sam, as Doctor Olenski is held up. Jodie needs to talk to Sam about the change to her delivery date, something Sam knew nothing about. Apparently Sam's conception date is out of whack with the dates they originally thought - about three weeks out. Sam is shocked.
Charlie's
Paul, Donna and Sam are eating at a table when Cass walks in. Sam goes to get drinks, and Cass joins her - telling her outright that she has learnt so much about Sam from her file. Sam threatens to sue her if she tells Dan that the baby isn't his - which is brand new information to Cass.
Cass says that if she decides to divulge such information to anyone, she'll let Sam know first.
CASS: I bet you wish I'd got the job at the newspaper now.
Number 28
Karl and Susan sit alone, looking at the boxes of Zeke's things. Ringo comes home, and Susan tells him they'll be taking it to the salvos tomorrow, in case he wants to keep anything.
RINGO: As if.
SUSAN: Have you spoken to Donna?
Ringo lays into his dead friend - Zeke's a cheating liar. Karl leaps in to defend his son, but Ringo's having none of it. Susan tells them to calm down, but Ringo's furious that no-one really knew Zeke after all. He kicks over a box of Zeke's belongings which upsets Susan, and Karl yells at Ringo to pack a bag and leave their house immediately.
Ramsay Street
Wandering across the street, Ringo runs into Cass who offers a shoulder and a place to crash for the night. With nowhere else to go, he agrees, and Cass' plan begins to take form...
