Rebecca is getting something from the boot of her car when Paul comes along and sits on the car. After a pause she asks him if she can do something for him. He says it's more like can he do something for her?
She rolls her eyes and comments on his salesman-like patter. He produces tickets for a weekend away.
Paul says he won them; they were 'heaven sent'.
REBECCA: I never picked you as the religious type.
PAUL: Oh Rebecca, come on, it's spring-time, love is in the air.
Just then Dan comes shouting after Libby and watch as they row in the street. Dan gets a dressing down and notices Paul and Rebecca afterwards and walks back to the house.
REBECCA: Love is so not in the air Paul.
Lucas' Garage
We see Libby arrive outside the window. When she comes in though, she says she thought Lucas might still be at the exhibition.
He says there wasn't much point 'after what happened'. He tells her the photos 'almost all sold out'. She says he must be happy. He says that wasn't why he took them 'you know that'. She asks if he knew Dan would be angry if he saw the photos. Lucas says he was right, Dan can't handle the fact Libby was with him first. She says they'll come through it. Lucas says if it was him she was in love with there's nothing he wouldn't come through for her. He goes back to work as she watches him.
General Store
Elle comes in and asks Donna if she can join her. Donna says her dad was supposed to join her, but he got held up. Elle sits down and asks if they're having lunch. She says she spoke to Ringo who was worried about Donna. She laughs it off as him being jealous. Elle tells her Matt is going to Jail. Donna says that's why she wants to concentrate on 'him and me' right now. Elle asks if Matt is blaming her for what happened. Donna replies 'no' a little too defensively. She covers it by saying it's good they're trying to make an effort to work things out. She gets up to pay but Elle stops her saying she didn't mean to upset her. Donna says she didn't, she just realised she should be at home talking to him. Elle spots that Donna suddenly has a large wad of cash in her purse. When Donna turns to leave, she sees Miranda and Steve standing there. She splutters an apology before rushing out. Miranda looks sad for her. Steve just looks blank. No change there then.
Charlie's Bar
Paul comes in and spots Dan 'drowning his sorrows' in the ultimate 'ancient blokey tradition'. Dan confirms that's why he's there, but what's Paul's excuse?
PAUL: I, my friend, am here to listen.
Dan is suspicious, but Paul sits down and explains that a harmonious Street is good for everyone. Dan then invites Paul to join him.

Steph is polishing while on the phone.
STEPH: Yes I'll hold
LIBBY: I never held his relationship with his wife against him.
STEPH: Guys and their pathetic fragile egos....(into phone)Oh, no I wasn't speaking to you'
She finishes the conversation and puts the phone down. Libby says she didn't think Dan was like that, but doesn't say he wasn't. Steph says he may not have heard her, or understood her, or maybe he was just hungry? What was he doing when she asked? Watching the footie she says.
The camera changes and we now see Toadie is there. He begins to bang a remote control on the table.
STEPH: There you go, they can't do two things at once....isn't that right Toad?
They laugh.
Charlie's Bar
Paul says the problem with women is they just don't understand the rules. Dan asks what 'The Rules' are?
PAUL: Well, you can't leave the pub while it's your shout, what happens on the trip stays on the trip, and...a man can't go where his brother's already been. Dan's face drops. Paul asks him what guy wouldn't have a problem with that. Dan says he hoped he was better than that. Paul says his mistake wasn't thinking that way; it was letting her know he thought that way. Dan asks if he should have lied. Paul says no, just tell them what they want to hear. Dan says that sounds like lying to him. Paul says if everyone thought that way, population growth would be down to zero.
DAN: So I'd be doin' it for Australia!
Paul says he can do it for whoever he likes. 'Just don't let her slip away, otherwise you'll regret it - Take it from me'.
Ramsay Street
Libby is getting her car as Dan comes along. Strangely he's walked the long way round the cul-de-sac, but whatever. He wants to talk to her, but she says it's long past time for that. He begs and she gives him 30 seconds and begins counting. He says he was at Charlie's. 'Typical male response' is her retort. He wonders who's thirty seconds they're using, but she says she won't go. He tells her he's had relationship advice from Paul, which amuses her.
DAN: So I'm listening to him and it's like I'm listening my inner voice.
LIBBY: Channelling Paul Robinson, that is scary.
He agrees and she asks what his new 'spiritual adviser' thinks he should do? Dan says lie to her, which she figures. He says he won't. He wants to be honest with her. The answer is yes. He's been worried about her and Lucas. He explains he ran out of her room because he saw Lucas' photo and imagined them together. She wonders if she knows how that makes her feel. They connected 'up here' way before any of that. She thought they were on the same wavelength. He argues he feels the same way.
Just then, Lucas pulls up. They continue to row.
LIBBY: I'm just some trophy for you and your brother to fight over. Go to hell....(as she gets in the car, to Lucas) You go to hell too.
Lucas just shakes his head. He loves this.
Gym
Libby explains the situation to Rebecca as they work out on treadmills. Rebecca says they're cavemen, the lot of them. Paul comes in and bids them good morning. He says he bumped into Daniel earlier. Libby snarls she heard, and walks off. Rebecca questions his membership.
PAUL: Oh no, exercise makes me allergic. I break out in something.
REBECCA: It's called a sweat.
He wants to know if she's reconsidered the weekend away. Obviously not from the look on her face, He suggests she go anyway, take a girlfriend. Rebecca asks what being funded by him would do to her pride, and he leaves her to it. He bumps into Elle.
ELLE: Dad, this is a gym.
PAUL: Yeah? I thought it was a bar. Won't make that mistake again.
Elle wonders if he's been harassing Rebecca, but she says he's harmless. Elle asks Rebecca if she can have a word with Donna. She explains the story and says Donna needs a mother.
Freedman House
The women are let in by Donna, and Rebecca says they came to see how she is. We're doing good, she says....considering. Elle is snooping through a bookcase. Rebecca asks if Donna has spoken to her mum, and is she coming down? Donna says her mum thinks her and her dad got what they deserved. Turning the conversation onto Matt, Rebecca asks if he's about. 'Gym', says Donna. Funny, says Elle, they were just there, and didn't see him. Suddenly he had to see his lawyers first. Oh, and his car's outside because he got a cab. Elle suggests he's done a runner. Donna asks if she'd want to show her face at the moment. Rebecca says they just want to help. Donna says she doesn't need help and holds the door open for them to leave. Rebecca says they were just checking she's OK and she knows where she is if she needs her. 'I won't' she replies. As they leave, Elle hands Donna something she found. Donna goes to put it in a drawer and finds her father's gym pass.
Gym
Ty is behind the counter as Donna comes in and they exchange small talk. Ty jokes about The Fighting Fitzgeralds at the gig. She asks him for a water bottle. As he turns to get it, she swipes her father's pass through the machine quickly. As she pays for the drink, she decides not to work out after all and leaves.

Bridget and Rachel are pulling the sofa apart looking for her ring. Bridget asks if it's really important. Rachel says Angus gave it to her. Bridget presses the question again and Rachel pauses for a second. She confesses that when Ty said he liked her, she could see herself moving on, She says losing the ring made her scared, she's not sure what it means. Anyway, Rachel asks how Bridget is. Who adopts a silly grin. Rachel eventually guesses Bridget slept with Declan. She apologises for being so wrapped up in everything she forgot to ask about it.
Bridget suddenly shouts 'YOUR CAKE! That's where the ring is'!
Erinsborough Hospital
Miranda is talking to Nicola and stroking her face. Steve asks her if she's thought about what happens if she doesn't wake up. Miranda is sure Nicola can hear. He says nothing's changed. Miranda says they'll talk about it 'when the time comes'.
The girls come in 'to give you guys a break'. Really of course they just want to get at the cake. When the adults are gone, Rachel starts pulling the cake apart to look for the ring, all the while getting covered in chocolate. It's not there, so they go off to put it in a bin. Bridget tells her life isn't over - she's still got Ty on the sidelines. Rachel thinks that would be great, but she can't think about him without thinking about Angus. Cake gone, they walk off, Rachel licking her fingers.
Lassiter's Complex
Ty pulls up and opens the car boot, where he finds Rachel's bent ring.
Gym
Ty is asleep on the desk until Elle comes and bangs on it, waking him. She asks if Matt's been through. He checks the computer screen and sees his name there. He must have been through while Ty was sleeping says Elle. As she leaves, she bumps into Lucas and asks him if he's seen Matt. 'No but say hi for me won't you?'
She asks how his head is. He says it's sore, but he did see the argument in the Street. So, Elle says, does he think he's back in with a chance? He smugly comments Libby knows she wouldn't have the same jealousy problem with him, even if she was with Dan first.
ELLE: Really?
LUCAS: Are you kidding? Any guy would have a problem with that.
ELLE: So you're going to lie to her.
LUCAS: Well, telling the truth's not going to help is it?
ELLE: You're atrocious.
LUCAS: What? You've never done anything atrocious to get what you want in life.
ELLE: I've never needed to.
LUCAS (touching her nose): No, but you just do it anyway.
ELLE: You're quite happy aren't you? Just waiting around for Dan to blow it.
He pretends to consider this then nods and smiles.
Freedman House
Rebecca has popped by with a hamper of food for Donna and her Dad. Keen not to make any judgements, she doesn't ask any more questions. When Donna believes this (has she never watched this show?) She apologises to Rebecca who says it's fine,. Rebecca goes to leave...unless Donna wants her to stay? Donna is suspicious again. Rebecca says she's sure she's doing fine, but, hey, why not take her mobile number...y'know, just in case? Donna thanks Rebecca and she leaves.
She sits down and picks up her mobile.
DONNA: Yeah, here's your message after the tone. I'm going to keep on lying for you, but after that I never want to hear from you again...Ever. You're gutless, just gutless.
Lassiter's Complex
As Toadie locks up, Dan says he can't believe he can be so stupid. Toadie says that normally taking Paul's advice isn't such a good idea. Dan says it's his problem; he's hung up over her and Lucas. Toadie gets it. Dan says but Libby doesn't. She sees he's rejecting her for something that wasn't her fault. She's right. Toadie says he needs to do something about it.
DAN: Yeah but what?
TOADIE: If you can take advice from Paul Robinson, you can take advice from Richard Gere. How does he win Julia Roberts back at the end (of Pretty Woman...er, I think)
DAN: Yeah right.
TOADIE: I saw the last 5 minutes while waiting for the footy to come on.
DAN: Waiting for Celine to come on more like it.
TOADIE: I've already told you, I don't like her.
Dan works out he needs to show Libby exactly what she means to him, no messing. Toadie suggests he thinks about it because he's already stuffed up every chance he had so far. Dan says he's wasted enough time already, and walks off. Toadie calls after him 'Richard Gere, Dan, Richard Gere'.

The girls are enjoying TV and ice cream when there's a knock on the door. Libby gets up to answer it and it's Dan. She starts talking but he interrupts her and gives her a passionate kiss. She backs off, stunned. He talks on, saying that Lucas will never be an issue again. He kisses her passionately again and drags her down the corridor. Come on, he says. Come on where? Says Lib. She twigs it's too the bedroom and asks him what he's thinking. He says it's not a problem.
LIBBY: For you maybe.
DAN: Isn't this what you wanted?
LIBBY: No, what I wanted was respect, not to be dragged off to the bedroom by my hair.
She throws him out and is visibly shaken.
