Rebecca falling to the ground in the kafuffle of Ringo's party.
Despite Frazer and Rosie leaving on Friday there are no changes to the titles.
No. 30
Steve picks Rebecca off the floor apologising profusely for accidentally pushing her and explaining that getting tough with the clowns is the only language they know. Rebecca thinks otherwise but Steve and remarks looking directly at Declan, "you're the expert at raising teenagers are you?"
No. 28
Susan is on the hunt to find out who bought the alcohol and Zeke replies that he bought it at a bottle shop. Taylah wants to call a taxi but Susan would prefer that her dad collected her so they "can talk". Zeke isn't in a discussing mood but its all temporary forgotten when Karl arrives home from the UK talking 10 to the dozen about the cheap champers he picked up (for Susan's pressie) in Singapore until he can sense something is up and asks who is going to tell him.
SUSAN: I found these two in a compromising situation with those (points to the beer).
KARL: Right.
ZEKE: (sarcastically) Add them to your champagne and make a cocktail.
Zeke points out that they are always drinking alcohol and so shouldn't treat him like a little kid.
KARL: That's good. We can have a mature conversation. Adult to adult.
Ramsay Street
Ollie spots Declan helping an injured Rebecca home when he returns from jogging and wants to go sort things out with Steve when she says how the accident happened and that Steve implied she was a bad mother. Rebecca stops him and praises Declan for not smuggling booze into the party - cue Elle having a very guilty look on her face.
No. 28
Angry Brad has arrived and isn't amused at Zeke trying to get his daughter drunk. Zeke explains that they didn't come home to drink the alcohol but that the pair of them decided that they were ready [to have sex]. Susan isn't chuffed at them wanting to use her house and Brad doesn't take the news at all well and wants to leave immediately. Karl is being more rational and wants them all to talk but Ringo's arrival home isn't exactly welcomed at that moment in time and Brad uses the window created to take Taylah home.
Susan apologises that they weren't ready for him and are astonished to hear about Steve flattening Miranda at the party.
No. 22
The 3 ladies of Ramsay Street are drinking their wine, letting off steam about their day and respective kids' behaviour towards alcohol... before promptly put their wine glasses down . With Declan listening in unnoticed, they wonder who bought the alcohol and his name is mentioned last.
The General Store
Ollie wants a word with Steve when he catches up with him but Steve literally takes the words out of his mouth and instead passes onto Miranda some sorry gifts to her via him before exiting the store (he is scared to hand them over personally in case he ends up wearing them!)
Elle fesses up to Ollie that she was the one who gave the alcohol to Declan for the party and she feels worse when he tells her Declan asked him too but turned him down. Ollie tells her to stop beating herself up and he'll accompany her to tell Rebecca.
No. 28
Ringo wants the gory details if Zeke managed it or not but he explains that they got sprung.
RINGO: Man that is bad.
ZEKE: Tell me about it.
Ringo excuses himself to meet Didge and Karl and Susan aren't amused at Zeke leaving a message for Taylah to call him back because Brad told him not to. Zeke is equally unimpressed and asks what it is that they've done that is so wrong.
ZEKE: Is this about the alcohol or is this about Taylah and I wanting to be together?
KARL: It's about both. It's illegal for you to buy alcohol and we have to respect Brad's request.
Zeke then blows up and Susan mentions his attitude which annoys him even more.
ZEKE: What attitude, sticking up for myself? Isn't that always what you've always said to do? Ask questions don't take things lying down, be your own man.
SUSAN: You're not a man yet love.
ZEKE: Says who?
KARL: We know you think you are, but Susan and I don't think you're ready for a committed relationship.
ZEKE: So, you decide when I'm ready? Don't forget to let me know then.
SUSAN: Zeke!
ZEKE: What? How does this work, exactly? I'm meant to give up the most important thing in my life, just to prove to you two that I'm mature enough to have it.
SUSAN: I am not budging on this. Sometimes you have to accept that we have more experience in these things.
KARL: We only want what's best for you mate.
ZEKE: No you don't. You want what's best for you and what's best for you is you having your little boy around still.
Susan wants him to stay and talk but he doesn't want to continue chatting and storms out of the house. They then discuss what has just happened. Karl points out that they'll just find a way to do it regardless and it may be better for it to happen under their roof so at least they know that they're informed and have taken precautions.
SUSAN: So you reckon you can handle it, do you? 'Morning Taylah, tea or coffee?'
KARL: (Having second thoughts) Oh, I don't know.
SUSAN: Zeke might think he's ready for this, but I know I'm not.
Karl heads off to see if he can find Zeke.
The General Store
Ringo, Didge and Declan whisper talking about Zeke and Taylah trying to avoid Zeke overhearing them however they can talk a bit louder now because Karl has arrived and takes Zeke to the other side of the store to chat.
The lad doesn't want to talk about it but Karl isn't giving him much on option but to talk. Karl brings up that they think they are rushing into something, which Zeke denies pointing out if that were true they'd have done it ages ago. Karl remarks that they might have been more understanding if alcohol wasn't involved but their chat is curtailed when Zeke spots Taylah and Brad entering the store.
The kids want to be together but Brad stops his daughter and forcefully tells Karl that if he can't keep Zeke away from Taylah then he will.
No. 22
Elle and Ollie arrive home and think everyone is out but Rebecca is just sitting in the dark. They hand over Steve's gifts and for those who were oblivious to the flashing message that has just appeared onscreen - Big Brother starts tonight in Australia!
Moving on, Elle fess up to Rebecca over who did buy the alcohol and Rebecca isn't amused despite Elle explaining the rationale behind it.
Taylah's bedroom
Just as Taylah is looking at a picture of herself and Zeke, the man himself knocks on her window and climbs in once she opens it (he tried to call but Brad has confiscated her phone). Both are still annoyed at their respective parents but have to act quickly when Brad knocks on her door almost springing them. Brad wants to talk about what has happened but Taylah refuses to discuss it with him so much so he gives up and says they'll talk in the morning.
ZEKE: He can't stop me from seeing you. No-one can.
(Later)
Taylah is explaining to Zeke why her dad has come "possessive" of her - it was just the two of them after her mum upped left (because of Brad working too hard) and their closeness tailed off when he returned to work but they started to get close again after Jessica's death.
ZEKE: And then I showed up.
Ah, that puts a different slant on it and Taylah goes onto explain that she is torn between wanting to be with Zeke but equally not wanting to lose the closeness with her dad.
No. 22
Rebecca apologises for going off at Elle especially after Declan can be so persuasive. She wonders if Steve was right after all and wishes that Paul was here to help. "Its pathetic how much I miss him," she bemoans to Elle.
Elle heads off to bed and Declan arrives home to find his mum wanting to talk to him. She bemoans to him that she doesn't know him any more and that he lied to her about the alcohol because Elle told her. "It's complicated, you wouldn't understand" he replies but she doesn't care - he's always got an excuse and asks if he thinks she is an idiot?!
DECLAN: Mum, please just listen.
Rebecca isn't in the mood to listen or talk more and tells him to come up with something for a change.
No. 28
Ringo quietly calls Zeke to tell him to get home now but has to end the call quickly when he hears movement and jet lagged Karl appears wanting to cook a fried breakfast to help get his body into synch. They talk about his eating disorder and subtly Karl tries to ask if Zeke talked to him about yesterday. Ringo is just about to cover for his roomy when Susan comes in asking if they've seen Zeke.
KARL: Ah, not yet, still asleep.
SUSAN: No he's not; his bed doesn't even look slept in.
RINGO: Ah, he must have gone for an early morning run. He did say that he was going to go... (Ringo knows he's busted) and made his bed too.
Taylah's bedroom
We find Zeke coming to in Taylah's bedroom (both are lying on top of the blankets snuggled up to each other) and he tells her to wake up when he spots the time (7.45). They hear Brad coming but a bit too late for him to jump out the window as Brad walks in with Susan and Karl right behind him.
BRAD: You little mongrel.
Ramsay Street
As Elle goes to retrieve the stranded paper in the hedge, Kirsten appears to tell Elle that she's ended things with Paul for good after their chat while she was in Paris and is going to tell Rebecca everything.
Before Elle can convince her otherwise, a happy smiling Rebecca appears after spotting her, asking how the trip was.
KIRSTEN: ...
As the credits roll, Rosie and Frazer's names have been removed.
