Melbourne Club - Sanct
As Angus and Rachel wait in the queue, they both realise that they have the same favourite piece of music by the band that's playing. As two young girls try to enter the club, the bouncer warns them about the use of fake ID and sends them off. He warns no one else to try and use fake ID, and Rachel is worried, but it seems Angus is friends with the bouncer so he lets them straight in.

Marco's Apartment - Client Party
Rosie comments that it's a great party, while Frazer wonders who the other lady is with Marco. Carmella goes over to find out, as Frazer helps himself to another champagne. Toadie is busy enjoying the Italian food, but Steph is too worried about Valda to be able to relax. Toadie agrees it's going to be hard stopping her working at Charlie's. Carmella approaches Marco, who introduces her to Mia, his sister. She tells Carmella she has heard a lot about him, but on seeing her bump, presumes she isn't Marco's crush that he's been going on about for so long.

Random Warehouse - Dance Party
Zeke cautiously walks towards an old warehouse and on seeing some people hanging outside, turns to leave, but is spotted by Jess who asks him where he was going. He admits he was leaving, but she points out that he only just arrived.

JESS: Are you being Zeke the Geek?
ZEKE:(dryly) Yeah, it's my default setting.

She apologises, and realising he's come by himself encourages him to stay, inviting him to hang around with her. Before going in she points out that he's not really dressed for a party, and encourages him to take off his jumper, tie it around his waste and gives him her visor. They head inside.

Melbourne Club
As Rachel waits by the bar, Angus returns with some water for them to drink. Rachel admits she likes to pace herself, and when asks replies that she's at ANU university in Canberra studying literature. Angus seems impressed and tells her that he studied in Sydney where his parents live, and that this is his first job away from home. She tries to ask him about his job, but the band starts playing so he drags her over to the stage to listen.

Kennedys - Zeke's Bedroom
Libby is outside inviting Zeke to watch a DVD with her. However she gets no reply and realising that he's not in his room, finds his bedroom window open.

Warehouse - Home of the Dance Party
Wandering around, taking in the atmosphere of the party, Zeke looks rather out of place. Jess encourages him to dance, but he says he will in a minute. Looking around he spots Taylah dancing.

Marco's Apartment - Client Party
Rosie is staggered at how many people are into fruit and veg. Mia admits it's because the market is right. Carmella introduces her to both Rosie and Frazer. She asks where her partner is, but Carmella admits she's single; Mia is surprised. Rosie points out that she won't be alone, but Mia mentions that Marco is good with kids, though he isn't really relationship material. Carmella comments that her relationship with Marco is still strictly business, and heads over to join Marco to make the speeches.

Melbourne Club
With the band still going, Rachel and Angus are dancing away at the front, but Rachel spots Elle and Riley out of the corner of her eye. She makes an excuse to go to the bar to get some more water, but Angus agrees to go with her.

Kennedys
Libby is on the phone trying to find where Zeke has got to. She asks him to call her back.

Melbourne Club
Rachel also get a call from Libby. Angus sees it as her 'get out' call, but Rachel tries to argue that it isn't, instead hanging up on Libby. Angus takes it as a good sign, though Rachel looks concerned.

Melbourne Club Toilets/ Kennedys
Escaping to the toilets, Rachel calls back Libby. Libby informs her that it's not about Susan; she's fine, she's trying to get hold of Zeke as he's not answering his phone. Rachel tries to cover for him by saying he came to the movies with them, but Libby isn't buying it. She asks what film they're seeing but Rachel can't say. Libby asks that they're both home by eleven.

Warehouse - Home of the Dance Party
Zeke is still hanging about looking rather unsure about dancing, when he receives a text from Rachel - "U r @ movies with me - go home ASAP!" However he ignores his sister's advice and deletes the message. Taylah comes over and encourages him to dance. He admits he's can't but when she asks if he can feel the pulse of the music, she tells him to listen to it and move with it.

Melbourne Club
With the band still going, Elle and Riley are in the crowd at the front, while Rachel and Angus are sitting back on the sofas. He asks her more about herself and she tells him about the latest book she's reading - Portrait of a Lady. He admits he likes it too, but instead of carrying on talking, she kisses him. Pulling back she apologises, but he tells her not to.

Marco's Apartment - End of the Party
With the party over and the end of the caterers leaving, Marco congratulates Carmella on being the 'Belle of the Ball', and points out that he was impressed at how she got on so well with his sister, who is usually so embarrassing. She thanks him and points out that she should probably go, but he offers for her to stay as it won't take long to set up the spare bedroom. She admits she should go, but neither of them moves and they stand looking at one another. Eventually Carmella apologises for being so inconsistent around him, admitting that she's been nervous. She kisses him.

MARCO: Are you sure about this now? Finally?
CARMELLA: Finally!

They return to their kiss.

Melbourne Club
Rachel and Angus are still kissing on the sofa. He admits it's moving pretty fast and asks if they should slow down. Rachel doesn't think so, and asks what he thinks. He doesn't mind either. Spotting Elle and Riley coming towards them, Rachel starts kissing Angus again. Elle and Riley decide to head upstairs where it's less busy. Rachel breaks off the kiss and admits she needs to get home to do some uni work. Angus offers to get her a cab, but she advises him to stay and listen to the end of the band. They kiss goodbye and she leaves, leaving her coat behind with him.

Kennedys
Quickly trying to remove her make-up before heading inside, Rachel quietly opens the front door to find Libby is still up. She asks where Zeke was.

LIBBY: He was never at the movies, was he?
RACHEL: Yeah...!
LIBBY: Oh come on, Rachel, I know a scam when I hear one. Where's Zeke? Don't make me wake up mum and dad.
RACHEL: No, Libby. Honestly, I have no idea where he is.

Outside the Dance Party
Taylah and Zeke are lying out on the bonnet of a car, looking up at the stars. He starts pointing out some constellations to her.

TAYLAH: Wow, are you an astronomer or something?
ZEKE: No, just a geek.
TAYLAH: Hardly!
ZEKE: That's my favourite star right there.
TAYLAH: That bright one?
ZEKE: Yep...Sirius the dog star, the brightest star in all our sky.
TAYLAH: That's why it's your favourite?
ZEKE: Nuh, it's only 8.6 light years away.
TAYLAH: Oh, practically next door!

An air of sadness comes into Zeke's voice.

ZEKE: When that light was being made, my mum and dad were still alive.

She takes his hand and holds it.

TAYLAH: So, do you reckon there's intelligent life up there?
ZEKE: Yeah, I hope so.
TAYLAH: Reckon we'll ever find it?
ZEKE: It's hard enough finding it down here!

They laugh. She asks if he's going to be going to the next party, but he's not heard of it. She gives him her phone to put his number in, and thanks him for the evening. They have a quick hug and kiss before she leaves.

ZEKE: Um...are you going to tell Jess?
TAYLAH: Tell Jess what?
ZEKE: Er...about...
TAYLAH: Oh...no. Tonight's...just for us. See ya!

Zeke lies back on the car, looking starry-eyed, till a text comes through.

ZEKE:(looking at his phone) Oh no, I'm dead!

Kennedys - Zeke's Bedroom
Sneaking back in through his bedroom window, Zeke is caught when Libby turns the light on. Libby asks where he's been and why he hasn't been returning her calls; the message about being at the movies with Rachel, sent at midnight didn't work. Pointing out how worried she's been, Zeke asks if Karl and Susan know. She informs him that they don't yet, but wants to know where he's been.

LIBBY: Where did you go? Oh, come on Zeke, I went to bat for you when you were in trouble at school; I signed the letter for Fitzy; I didn't tell mum and dad. You know you can trust me.
ZEKE: I was at a dance party.
LIBBY: What?
ZEKE: A dance party.
LIBBY: You went to a dance party?
ZEKE: Yeah.
LIBBY: Okay, I'm just going to assume that's truth, because it's just too weird not to be.

Zeke says that it is the truth, he just needed to unwind. She tells him not to use Susan's illness as an excuse. He apologises.

LIBBY: Did you take anything?
ZEKE: My phone...my wallet.
LIBBY:(amused) That's not what I meant.
ZEKE: What? ...No!

She informs him not to go sneaking out the house without telling anyone ever again. He agrees. She tells him to get some sleep and that she expects to see him bright eyed and bushy tailed at breakfast in the morning.

Marco's Apartment - Next Morning
Carmella wakes up after a lie in and heads to the kitchen to thank Marco for letting her sleep. He doesn't say anything and instead introduces him to both his sister, Mia, again, and his mother, Patrizia. Carmella politely says hello.

MIA: I bought you that shirt didn't I Marco?
MARCO: Um...
PATRIZIA: He never had the legs for it.

Erinsborough High Classroom
As they sit down for the lesson Taylah sends Zeke a text asking if the dog star is still shining. Jess asks how the party went last night as he disappeared so early. Rachel arrives and sits down next to her brother.

RACHEL: So where were you last night?
ZEKE: Where were you?

Recognising the voice of the teacher, Rachel's ears prick up. Angus turns around introducing himself as their new teacher: Mr Henderson. Spotting Rachel he stalls mid sentence, but manages to keep himself going.
