Hospital
A nurse finishes checking Napier's vitals and when she leaves, he starts muttering "Oliver, Oliver".
No. 24
Boyd comes round to find out how Sky is doing because she thinks she is attracting all the weirdo's lately but she puts him straight about Caleb not being one of them. Harold overhears their "discussion" and when he is brought up to speed, is firmly in Boyd's camp but Sky tells them both that she likes Caleb and hanging out with him but isn't ready to take things further just yet.
No. 28
Karl comes off the phone from talking to the home where Tom is currently living to repeat what he's been told - that they don't think it would be good for Tom to come to Erinsborough as it will only increase his confusion. He also admits that he agrees with them too but Susan and the kids want him to come and are willing to help out. Susan also reminds him that this could be his last chance to spend any time with his dad and that it would be a big mistake not to take it.
The General Store
Caleb and Boyd give each other the evil eye when Boyd enters the store before they finally start talking. Boyd hopes he realises it isn't personal but thinks that everyone connected to Stinger needs space and Caleb agrees to give Janelle the wide birth at her request. Boyd has been doing his sums wrong and thinks he is there to meet Sky and is willing to make and excuse for him but Caleb informs him that he's actually meeting his mate Jamie.
Caleb then accuses Boyd of being a control freak about Sky given how much he is protesting on her behalf and begins to wonder if indeed he is actually jealous. Boyd puts him straight but while he is trying to fill him in generally about what happened in TGS (without going into actual specifics), Caleb starts feeling pains in his chest and asks Boyd to get his pills from his bag.
Lassiter's restaurant
Elle and Ollie are giving each other the cold shoulder over the client's stolen goods because both are taking different POV's (Elle believing the clients, Ollie the employees). Paul convinces Elle to let him do a bit of investigating to see who is telling the truth and she reluctantly agrees but before he can get to it, she has to sort out security given what happened the last time he was in the restaurant.
No. 28
Zeke tries to put his "oldies" training into practice when Harold comes by but Rachel politely tells him off and Harold gives him some advice on how to handle Tom. And speaking of Tom, the three of them arrive home but Tom isn't pleased to be in Erinsborough, he wants to be at the farm.
In his confused state, he tells Karl that he isn't his son and while Karl is trying to explain to his dad who he and Susan are, Tom turns round and spots Zeke and asks that he gives his old man a hug - he obviously has forgotten that his son is all grown up now - and asks "his son" to explain who everyone is and why he is here.
Lassiter's restaurant
Paul is on a bit of a high when he reports back to Elle that he doesn't believe that the staff are thieves and sends Elle out to talk to Ollie when she starts pouting.
Hospital
Napier has visions of what he said to Ollie before he collapsed and as he comes to, asks for Oliver.
Lassiter's restaurant
Elle finds Ollie and they kiss and make up but are interrupted when Paul arrives to pass on a message to Ollie that Alan Napier wants to see him urgently.
The General Store
Paul is explaining his embarrassment at catching Elle and Ollie pashing when the staff were nearby and Harold reminds him that he isn't so innocent either! He asks Harold for advice on what to do and is chuffed when Harold says that he is acting like a father.
No. 28
Susan and Karl and trying to stimulate Tom's memory with the aid of photos but he sends them off so he can talk to "his son". Karl pulls Zeke aside to talk to him about what is happening and Zeke is happy to play along with the idea that he is Karl since playing along with the fantasy is supposed to be good for dementia sufferers. Zeke asks Karl if he is okay with it and while Karl says yes, when Zeke goes to show Tom to his room, his face tells a different story.
Hospital
Sky is giving Boyd what for, for arguing with Caleb given his recent surgery and reminds him that they are just friends when he admits it has been good spending time with her again like the olden days.
In Caleb's room, she now gives him 'minor what for'; when he admits that he wasn't taking his full medication because he felt so good because of her.
Boyd stops Harold from entering Caleb's room because he thinks that Sky and Caleb need time. The older man admits that he thinks Sky is just using Caleb as a substitute for Stinger and that she is the only one who can't see it. Boyd replies that he thinks there is more to it and that they should just let them be.
No. 28
Zeke tries to help the bonding process between Tom and Karl by suggesting that Tom plays Karl (they used to play it every night before going to bed when Karl was younger). While Tom collects his glasses from his room, Susan mentions to Karl that he just needs to find something to connect to Tom with, which obviously struck accord, as Karl suddenly exits the house.
Hospital
After a quick game of peek-a-boo between Caleb and Kerry, Sky admits to Caleb that she likes him and that it is just pure co-incidence that he happens to have Stinger's heart inside him.
Ollie and Elle watch Napier sleep from the corridor but she doesn't want to enter the room. He tells Elle that Napier was trying to tell him something when he collapsed and she changes her mind and leads him into Napier's room.
No. 28
Zeke and Tom are trying to playing chess (Tom has forgotten how to play) when Karl re-enters the house with Tom's record player that he took when clearing out the farm. He connects it up and plays a record that Tom recognises almost immediately. Tom and Karl start singing along to it and Tom starts to dance with Rachel and then Susan. Karl has a big smile on his face as he watches his dad dance.
Hospital
Ollie wakes Napier up and introduces him as being a close family friend to Elle.
NAPIER: Not friend.
OLIVER: What?
NAPIER: Grandfather.
OLIVER: (stunned) Grandfather.
Ollie asks on whose side but before he can give a response, he notices Paul standing where Ollie and Elle were earlier. Ollie turns round to see what Napier was looking at but there is now nobody there and he demands to be told about his parents but Napier is unconscious again.
