No. 30
Pepper is back from giving flowers to a still upset Janelle and Rosie hands her a pressie from her secret admirer - a Jack in the box.
Ned's pad
Elle does her best to ignore the fact that Stinger is dead but Ned asks her to remember how she felt when Cameron died, then she will have a feeling as to how the Timmins family are feeling atm.
ELLE: Ned, I came here for fun, not the psychotherapy.
NED: Will you stop acting like your dad, you've got way more feelings than that.
She throws the newspaper at Ned and asks him to analyse that and we see an article in the paper with the heading 'Barnes guard is in a coma after a burglar attack'. Neddy is lost for words this time.
No. 30
Pepper is bemused by the latest pressie but seems to cheer up when Rosie hands her an envelope that was there too - tickets for the circus and not Circus De Soile like Rosie thought they were for. Pep seems pleased that Paul has been so thoughtful because she used to love going to the circus as a kid but Rosie thinks it is just so Paul can capitalise until Pepper says she never told Paul she liked going to the circus.
Carmella comes home with a pile of food for Rosie to cook since the way to a man's heart is though his stomach. Rosie wonders if it is all worth it when Oliver with a new human looking haircut enters the kitchen to say bye because he is going out...to catch up with an old friend.
Carmella decides she's had enough too and Pepper lets rip at Oliver for his non-existent bedroom manners and Rosie receives his backlash about her treatment of Frazer when she tries to back Pepper up.
OLIVER: IF I was with Elle then it would be none of your god damn business.
PEPPER & ROSIE: ...
Scarlet Bar
A quiet Harold excuses himself from his meal he is barely touching to go talk to Elle who arrives armed with flowers. Lolly suggests to Ringo that they should take over running of the blogzine to make it one less thing Rachel and Bree have to worry about and he is all in favour because it will mean he is doing something useful.
Meanwhile, Harold reluctantly accepts the flowers Elle had for the Timmins family because she doesn't want to go round with them herself.
Back with the kids, and Lolly thinks it is weird that Rachel is grieving for her old boyfriend with her new boyfriend. Ringo admits he is finding things hard going with Rachel since they didn't exactly progress very far before Stinger's death and wishes that she was as easy talking to Lolly is.

Paul is trying to find his way out but ends up back where he started. He thinks Dylan is spying on him because small stones are being thrown at his head and is being slowly freaked out, so starts running off as fast as he can. We then see that Dylan has watching him.
No. 30
Carmella repacks the groceries she just emptied to donate them but Rosie suggests they still cook, so they can take their mind off things.
Pepper comes in to ask if her outfit says thank you enough.
ROSIE: It will when it's on Paul's bedroom floor.
Pepper scolds Rosie because that isn't her intention but Rosie can read her like a book and says not to come running to her when it goes wrong, to which she agrees...and so will go to Carmella instead! To butter Carmella up, Pepper promises to spy on what Elle and Ollie are up to but Carmella asks her not to because it is time to move on.
No. 22
Ollie unburdens his problems to Elle and she listens as he talks first about Carmella and then Alan Napier accusing him of breaking & entering his office at the family business and bashing up the security guard because the stuff that was stolen had something to do with his inheritance. Elle is doing a grand job of playing dumb as Pepper overhears from the open door and then watches as Ollie and Elle share a lingering kiss. Pepper disappears before she hears Ollie telling Elle that she is 100% real and that there is no hidden agenda! Boy is he delusional!
No. 24 backyard
Lolly has declared herself in charge since Lou is off in Moscow seeing Mishka and sends Harold inside for a rest, which he does, chuckling about her being in charge.
She rejoins Ringo at the table and they discuss agony aunt letters received for the blogzine. The first letter Ringo reads out is about someone being in love the recipient not knowing and he mutters that he knows how she feels! Lolly asks what advice he has and he says that the recipient should stop being invisible and to make the first move because guys dig that.
LOLLY: So if some random chick rocked up to you and kissed, you'd be stoked?
RINGO: Yes, who wouldn't be?!
Lolly takes that as his permission to kiss him and kisses him quickly on the cheek before running off.
Ned's pad
Ned thinks Elle is back because she couldn't tell Ollie the truth but she gloats that she did and has encouraged him to go after his inheritance and is looking forward to the jet set lifestyle she will have they marry. Ned calls her sick and she reminds him about putting the security guard in hospital. He then tells her about the dream he had when he left Oakey - that'd he'd have enough money to buy anything and admits that he hates the person he has become and asks her to agree that she hates herself too if she were honest.
ELLE: Mmm. No, no issues with me.
NED: Really? Why don't you look yourself dead in the eye and say 'I'm a good person'.
Elle can't look into the mirror he's just taken out and says he is just being ridiculous. He accuses her of being unable to do it because her dad has turned her into someone she despises.

Paul is still running and Dylan is still throwing stones or something at him, which is freaking him out as he tries to escape and he manages to stop himself just from going over a cliff. It's like rewinding to eppy 4744 when it was the Affirmacon dudes who were after him.
Dylan makes himself know by asking if Paul remembers this place! Ah, Dylan has taken Paul back to where the Affirmacon guys were chasing him only this time Dylan says it isn't his leg he is going to lose but a whole lot more!
Commercial break over and Paul is standing precariously at the edge of the cliff trying to reason with Dylan that he's made his point.
DYLAN: Have I?
PAUL: Look you wanted to give me a scare, okay you've done it. Why don't you just stop with the silly games and talk to me straight.
DYLAN: Actions speak louder than words Paul, you taught me that. Here's one action of yours I'll never forget. It involved the wetlands, toxins, stealing the deal with Affirmacon. Those TOXINS gave my daughter leukaemia. I couldn't save her, but my brother could and NOW my brother's dead.
PAUL: I am not responsible for your brother's
DYLAN: YOU SET EVERYTHING IN MOTION, YOU MADE EVERYTHING GO WRONG.
PAUL: I understand your pain and your anger believe me, I felt the same way when Cameron died but hurting me is not going to bring back Stingray.
DYLAN: It will even the score.
PAUL: (pleading) I can give you anything you want you know.
DYLAN: I want my brother back.
Paul looks nervously looking over the cliff.
No. 30
The sisters have made enough food to feed and army and Ollie is impressed when he comes home with the smells and they pile the food on a plate for him and he heads into the livingroom commenting that he may just stay afterall. Carmella can't believe what he has heard but her chat with Rosie is interrupted by Lolly entering. She too gets a feed and Carmella disappears to share the food out to allow Lolly to talk to Rosie about "her case".
Rosie knows that isn't the real reason and so Lolly admits to kissing Ringo but is scared she misread the signals and has ruined her friendship with him. Rosie suggests chatting to the young man but Lolly would rather die. They continue their talk about how things are going at school and Rosie is trying to get through to her that education and a career will give her independence and stability unlike men that come and go.
Ramsay Street
Harold is impressed with the food Carmella has given him when they spot Pepper. Carmella asks how it went with Paul but Pepper informs them that she hasn't seen Paul despite sitting waiting on his doorstep, which she was happy to do because of what she saw with Elle and Ollie and didn't want to have to say to Carmella. It's too late of course, so Pepper tells them she saw Elle and Ollie kissing and not of the peck on the cheek variety either but didn't stay around to find out what happened next but if their body language was sending out clues... She tells Carmella not to believe anything Oliver says adding that Elle did nothing to prevent him leaving either!
They hear footsteps coming from No. 22 and on cue Elle appears and Pepper remarks that butter wouldn't melt in Elle's mouth. Carmella then takes the cake Harold has in his hand and swaps it for the other plate of goodies she has...because the cake is for a higher purpose! She then purposely marches over to Elle and when Elle finishes leaving a message on Paul's voicemail, Carmella splats her with the cake bang in her face, even rubbing it in a little before walking off.
PEPPER: Woohoo!
ELLE: ...

Paul is now taunting Dylan to push him but in the next breath, says that the hurt will pass and just as he is about to make similarities of when Cameron died, Dylan shouts at him.
DYLAN: Don't you dare compare me to you.
PAUL: (pleading) Alright, alright. I have learned my lesson. Is that what you want to hear? Okay, okay, I'm a changed man. So Stingray's death wasn't in vein. Oh come... we both know how this is going to end. Eh? You're going to give me a scare, make me see the error of my ways and then you're going to let me go because deep down you are a good person. I know you Dylan. I know you because you are like a son to me and a son would never hurt his father.
DYLAN: You don't know me at all.
Dylan then pushes Paul and after a bit of a stumble he falls, head first down the cliff.
Ned's pad
Elle is feeling rather sorry for herself and announces she hates her, Carmella I presume, then that she hates them all but Ned informs her that she hates herself while he cleans her up. He then gives her an escape route - escaping away with him.
ELLE: Are you crazy?
He assures her he has the important things - money and lots of it - and they could go to somewhere that nobody knows them to start again. Elle confesses that she doesn't love him and he replies he doesn't either but they are both in the same boat - if they don't escape from Paul soon they are both going to become like him.
Bush
Dylan sits down and begins to cry and apologises to his brother but he hears a noise and stops talking, going instead back to the edge of the cliff and finds Paul climbing back up it! Sadly he doesn't push Paul back down but instead goes to help him up the last few feet even if Paul was a bit dubious about reaching for Dylan's hand.
With Paul taking a few deep breaths, glad to be back on the ground he asks Dylan the obvious question - why did he save him.
DYLAN: I wasn't saving you. I was saving myself. It's not my place to punish you; you'll do that all on your own. One by one, you'll use up everyone around you, including Elle. You'll die a lonely death, unloved and bitter. We've both been given a second chance.
Dylan then departs, leaving Paul to sit and contemplate the words.
