The Scarlet Bar
Carmella and Rosetta are chatting at a table, Carmella holding an old doll of Rosie's. Carmella tells Rosie that she knew the money wasn't at number 30 (well, duh) because Rosie was too confident about that. She knew it wasn't at work because Toadie wouldn't allow it. And she has no friends to hide it, so the only place was there mother's. Also, Rosetta told her that she hid stuff from her for years, and Carmella knows that her sister his her dolls from her.
Carmella suggest that they join forces and manage the family business.
Number 30
Oliver and Frazer are talking as Frazer packs for the trip. He's packing satin boxers that he wore to his Year 12 formal. They are way too old.
OLIVER: You didn't have a matching tie, did you?
FRAZER:
Frazer says that they are his good luck boxers. And they might bring him luck with Rosie; Oliver thinks that Rosie is expecting romance on the trip because she planned it all. Frazer tells Oliver that his plan is to tell Rosetta the truth on this trip, and Oliver mentions that Carmella has invited him, so he'll be there, too.
FRAZER: Is anyone in Erinsborough *not* invited?
Dylan pops in.
DYLAN: Hey, guys, is it cool if Scotty and Sky tag along because I've already invited them.
Number 24
Sky asks Scott if it's weird to take a baby on a couple's retreat, and Stingray thinks it's not weirder than taking him. They're concerned about the time they'll spend with Dylan, and how that will be - and should they share a bed? It's academic, because Harry returns home, sombre.
SKY: What's wrong? Grandad - where's Kerry?
Harry looks utterly traumatised.
Number 30
Frazer asks Rosie what she'll do with the $200K, and she reports that she and Carmella will re-build the family business. Frazer is all quiet, not himself, and he tells her that he hoped that on the getaway they'd have some time together. She admits that because the house was so huge, she sort of invited others. Frazer asks if they'll get some alone time, and Rosie freaks out inside - she thinks it means Frazer wants to sleep with her.
The Scarlet Bar
Paul and Neddy are at a table, and Paul reminds Ned that his first repayment is due tomorrow, but Ned doesn't have it. Paul makes Ned admit that he's $5K too short for the payment, and Ned begs Paul to help him out. Paul gets out his cheque book.
PAUL: Pay Neddles five thousand dollars.
NED: Thanks, I really appreciate it.
Paul doesn't hand the cheque over - he needs a favour.
By Lassiters Lake
Ned says he won't do it - the trip is for couples only. Paul tells him he has no choice - and hands him some pills. Plus the cheque. Ned thinks what Paul is asking him is wrong, and Paul corrects him: Dylan being with his daughter is wrong. He wants Ned to break them up, and his debt will be paid.
Ned scarpers and Paul spots Harry's car...He quickly limps over to it, and peeks inside.
Cut to later, the police are there, with Harry, Dylan, Elle, Scott and Sky who has Kerry in her arms. Paul says the car will be dusted for prints. Harry is all concerned for Kerry, and Dylan pushes him away. They're all in agreement that he should never have left a baby in a car with the keys in the ignition.
PAUL: Oh, come on, it could have happened to anyone.
SKY: Granddad, you left her unattended; I can't believe you think *I'm* irresponsible.
Sky's really upset and tells her granddad that Kerry could have died - she won't let him look after her again. Harry protests that none of this was his fault - he was carjacked. He didn't say anything before because he was ashamed. Paul stares at Harry, can't believe he's lying. Harry says he'd give his life for Kerry and Sky hugs him.
The Scarlet Bar
Carmella and Oliver are agreeing that he'll go on the trip, and now she has her dad's money, she'll hire him a lawyer and get back his fortune. Hey - since when were these guys an item and so committed to spending that much money on each other?! Oliver tells her that his fortune's gone, but he's not sure he deserves it, he let his dad down, blah blah...
Ned comes in and tells Carmy his sorry story - he was going to go to Adelaide to see Katya for Valentine's Day, but she doesn't want him. And now Neddles is depressed. Oliver suggests he go away with them. Oh - way to go. Carmella tells him it's full of couples, but Ned thinks he can entertain himself.
I'm saying *nothing*.
Number 24
Sky wonders if Harry will forgive her; Dylan and Scott think he will. Harry comes out from his room and says he'll go wash the car, but Sky stops him, profusely apologising. Harold tells her it's not a problem, and Sky says she trusts him with Kerry. He's thrilled he can look after her again.
Ramsay Street
Frazer and Rosie come out with their bags, ready to load the car, Bessie! Fabulous! We used to have a Bertha at this address - anyone remember her?! Pepper has sprayed the car with that custard pie stuff: "Happy Valentine's Have fun Love Pepper." With lots of balloons and hearts. Cute. Carmella and Oliver join them.
OLIVER: Is there supposed to be an apostrophe in Valentine's Day cos I don't know.
At last - a question I can answer! Yes, there is!
Ned runs up and helps them pack their gear in - Oliver admits he invited him. Elle and Dylan fly out, and Paul asks her not to leave on a bad note. He reminds her that she can always rely on him. They pack the car/van thing up, and Paul gestures at Ned to make sure Dylan and Elle split up.
Somewhere Green
It looks like the Yarra Valley, but it's probably a little erected spot in the studio grounds. The guys have arrived to unpack, and Elle and Dylan have raced in. They announce that it's bunk beds - only one double bed with an ensuite in the whole house! Rosie insists that Sky and Scott have the double bed as they have a baby to fit in the room, too, so they'll need the ensuite.
The guys go into the house except Ned who sits down outside, and Dyl sits with him. He says sorry about splitting up with Katya and leaves. Ned takes the pills Paul gave him and throws them on an old fire.
Cut to later where they're all sitting round what should be a campfire, but without the fire. So just a camp, I guess. Scott bought Twister to play. Excellent - the last people to play that in this show was the Kennedys, Toadie and Dee in 2002.
Elle suggests playing Celebrity Morph - putting two names together to make one. Hey - has she been reading this forum?
DYLAN: You and Stingray would be Sty.
OLIVER: You guys would have a good one. Razer.
Excellent - I hope that's a little tribute/dig at us! Besides, they got it wrong. It's Skyray and Frosie. *Everyone* knows that.
Ned can't play so he strops off to get another beer.
ROSIE: Well that was a bit awkward.
DYLAN: Well it's tough being the ninth wheel.
Ned can hear the guys talking about how strange Ned has been acting recently, how he doesn't fit in anywhere. Not liking what he hears, he seemingly decides to drug up Dylan after all. He goes over and announces that he'll get drinks for everyone.
Number 22
Harry has come over with a small plant for Paul to say thanks for finding Kerry. Paul wants to know why Harold lied about the carjacking, and Harry admits that he didn't want them to be proven right that's he's a silly old fool who can't look after his great-granddaughter. He wasn't there for his Kerry, so he wants to be there for her.
Paul tells him not to worry - it would do no good to admit the truth, and he's doing it for the right reasons. That's nice, to see Paul supporting his 'friends' for once. Paul promises to keep quiet for everyone's sake.
Somewhere Green
The guys are playing Truth Or Dare. Carmella and Oliver start fighting over her comment that he makes bad decisions. Frazer wants to talk to Rosie, but she's having none of it. Stingray tells Oli that he wants to see his six nipples when he gets back - and scarpers with Sky; Dylan watches them. Ned pours Dylan more poisoned wine and tries to rile up Dyl about his brother hooking up with his ex. He then goes to Carmella and pours her a poisoned drink, and lies about things Oliver said to Frazer about her.
Git.
He then goes back to Dyl, and riles him up even more about his being cool with Sky and Scott. He does an EvilNed face which doesn't work as he watches Carmella drink her wine.
The guys stand around the camp[s]fire[s] and start singing loudly. Sky says it's no wonder Kerry can't sleep, and she and Stingray decide to grab Kerry and leave.
A drunk and drugged Dylan tries it on with Elle, and she tells him that no amount of groping will make up for the problem he has with Sky and Scott being together. And then they start arguing about their families. Elle leaves, and Dylan asks Oliver to take his shirt off.
DYLAN: It's perfectly normal to have six nipples. For a cat.
CARMELLA: He is a cat. A scaredy-cat.
That was the worst. Line. Ever.
And then a drugged Carmella starts kicking off on Oliver for not trying to claim his fortune, and they both strop off.
Ned does another EvilFace. It's all very strange.
Somewhere Green - Inside the bedroom
Frazer and Rosie are sitting on the bottom bunk in their room, and Frazer tells Rosie that no-one in his life has meant more to him than her. And she agrees the same, and so he tells her that after tonight she might feel differently.
She immediately gets up and tells him that she didn't want to sleep with him tonight - that's why she invited so many others. She wants to, but it's a big deal for her. Frazer tells her that he just wanted to talk - nothing more.
ROSIE: Really? Why - am I not attractive enough?
Typical female! She tells him she has major trust issues with men, because guys haven't been patient or honest with her in the past. And then Frazer came along and restored her faith.
Somewhere Green - Inside another bedroom
Carmella is drugged and asleep on a bed. Ned carries a drugged Dylan in and lays him down next to Carmella.
Ned undoes Dylan's shirt.
Is it me, or does that do *nothing* for anyone else, either?
