The Psych ward at the hospital
Max is tossing and turning in his bed and calls out for Steph in his dream. Katya hears him and comes into his room and tells him he was just having a bad dream. Max looks very distraught and tells Katya that he was dreaming about Charlie and Steph and he couldn't reach them. Upon the suggestion that he tries to get some more rest he says he can't because he's having the same dream over and over. Katya tells him she'll try to get hold of something to help him sleep better.
No. 22
Lyn's comforting Steph by telling her that Max won't be in hospital for long, all he needs is some rest and someone to talk to and he'll be back before she knows it. Paul comes down from reading Ozzie a pirate book and Lyn says he's obsessed with that book, he knows all the words by heart too. Aww.
Paul asks how Max is doing and Steph says he's good and gets ready to leave, she needs to go home and check how Boyd's doing with Charlie. She and Lyn hug before she goes and Steph thanks her Mum for everything. Lyn tells her not to worry, Max will be fine.
After Steph has gone Paul wants to know how Lyn's coping, but Lyn wants to talk about Steph instead, commenting on how strong her daughter has been through all of this.
PAUL: It seems everybody's being strong for everyone else, especially you. Lyn, you don't have to be for me, okay?
He tells her how he's arranged for Max to see Dr. Young and Lyn tells him he shouldn't have done that since she's so expensive (and yet she's so bad at conducting therapy!). Paul tells her not to worry, it's all been taken care of already and his family gets nothing but the best.
PAUL: And Lyn, the Hoylands is your family, that's good enough for me.
He tells her he hates seeing her this upset and just wants to help and she agrees to the therapy. Aww, there's so much love there. (/is now feeling shippy)
The park next to Lassiters lake the next morning
Katya, Ned and some random girls are in the park throwing a Frisbee around. Katya's having some problems catching the Frisbee since it's always so high up when it gets to where she's standing. Ned volunteers to help her out by lifting her up every time she's to catch it. Zeke and Garrett appear and Garrett asks if those girls playing with the Frisbee are the models Zeke's been talking about.
ZEKE: Yeah, they're my hotties. Hey babes! (waves to the girls)
KATYA: Hey, Zeke!
THE HOTTIES: (in unison) HI ZEKE! Why don't you come and join us?
KATYA: We need some more big, strong men.
Garrett gets overwhelmed and makes up some excuse about having footy training and his Mum's supposed to pick him up. Zeke says bye to the girls and leaves with his 'homie'.
On the other side of the park Carmella watches Ned and Katya being playful and looks like she wishes she could be Katya.
No. 28
Ned and Katya come home from the park and find Zeke in his footy gear since Garrett's now agreed to let him come back on the team. Ned wants to know why Katya's not out bike riding with the other girls and Zeke explains that she can't ride a bike.
KATYA: Our parents thought it was more important to learn about the Russian revolution than to learn to ride a bike.
ZEKE: Yeah, I only just learnt and it wasn't very pretty.
Heh. Ned volunteers to teach her how to ride and he'll even catch her if she falls off. That's enough to get Katya to agree to do it so Ned leaves to get ready. She comments on how ridiculous it is to have an adult learning how to ride a bike, but Zeke points out that she'll have 'big, strong Neddy' there to help her.
KATYA: Ned and I are just friends.
ZEKE: Right, just friends...who pash!
Zeke starts making pash movements into his palm and then Katya admits that yes, Ned is a good friend who's good to pash. Speaking of romance, how are things between Zeke and Bree? Now that Anne's gone can't they just put everything behind them and start afresh? Zeke says he's moved on and now he's got more important things to think about- losing his street cred once Gareth find out that his sister's into the Backstreet Boys! He starts to hum the melody to 'Larger Than Life' (I only know this because I went to look it up online- I'm not a fan! LOL) and Katya starts to wrestle him in fun.
Hospital corridor
Steph's got Charlie in her lap and tells him that his Daddy's going to be fine and Lyn comes up to her saying that of course Max will be okay. All he needs is rest and to have his family around him and he'll be right as rain. Steph says she should have seen the warning signs in Max sooner and Lyn tells her that it was Max who didn't, Steph did all she could for him. There's more to be done though so Steph goes to see Max in his room.
Hospital room
Max is lying in bed all spaced out. Steph asks him how he's doing and he doesn't hear her at first since he's lost in thought. Max wants to know how the family's going and Steph says that Summer called the night before and she aced this exam that she'd been worried about. She didn't tell her about Max being in hospital, just that he wasn't feeling very good at the moment. They talk about how Boyd and Charlie are doing (both are good) and then there's a bit of an awkward moment before Steph, struggling to think of something to say, says that Janae's called from the mechanics course and she'd really enjoying it. Max asks about Boyd and Charlie again and Steph repeats her answer from before. He also talks about Spring Racing Carnival, they should really go this year. Oh, and how's the family? How's Summer? Steph looks worried about Max's apparent confusion.

Carmella's on the sofa with her Bible on her lap and she might have been crying, I can't tell since there are no tears. Ned comes in looking for the bike pump and asks Carmella if she's found a flat yet. He can tell she's upset so tells her not to worry about the flat too much, but she says it's not that, it's something she's got to do. She's done something terrible and now she has to make amends. Ned tells her it can't be that bad, but she says it is.
CARMELLA: It's bad. I sold my cousin's baby!
NED: You what?
CARMELLA: And now she wants it back! I wanted to tell you as my friend so you know what's going on.
NED: I don't think you should tell me any more.

Paul walks down the stairs and finds Ozzie on the floor with his toys spread out around him. It turns out it's just the two of them for the day and now it's play time. Ozzie responds by picking his nose so clearly he's very keen to play. We switch to a different camera angle and then Ozzie's suddenly happy and runs from the bottom of the stairs to this big box that's on the kitchen floor. Paul's bought lots of fun toys like blocks and DVDs, but Ozzie's not interested in any of those, no, he wants to play with the box instead! Paul realises it's going to be a very long day ahead.
Ramsay Street
Katya's on a bike, trying to get the hang of how to ride it while Ned's got a steady grip around her waist. Carmella is watching them from the garden of no. 30 and when Ned spots her he lets go of Katya for a second so she nearly falls over. Katya wants a kiss so he kisses her on the check before excusing himself to go over and talk to Carmella.
No. 30
Ned apologises to Carmella for his behaviour earlier and she says it's okay, she deserved it. Ned says she must have been very desperate when she sold the baby, but Carmella says she was just selfish. Now she's determined to make things right though so will go and visit the baby's parents and hopefully convince them to let Teresa play a role in the baby's life. Ned offers to come with her, but Carmella says she cares too much about him to let him be involved in this and he should go back to Katya instead.

TheBox™ has now been turned into a car instead with cut-out windows and everything and Paul and Ozzie are in it, driving fast and using Paul's prosthesis as the gear stick. I know I should be focusing on what's happening in the scene but this turned into 'Spot Stefan's real leg' instead. And yes, I did see it!
Hospital
Max is in therapy with Dr. Young, the expensive therapist who's no good at her job.
DR YOUNG: In my opinion, you're suffering from severe Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
MAX: What about the memory losses and dreams?
DR YOUNG: Serious symptoms, yes, but not out of the ordinary.
MAX: (laughing) I don't know how you can make that diagnosis on the basis of a couple of routine questions, you know. I've been hallucinating preliminary final tickets, I've had conversations with my private investigator... I thought my baby had gone missing but he was in the cot the whole time.
DR YOUNG: This is still within the normal range.
MAX: No, no, this is something else. How can I ever trust myself again? Huh? Everything that happened to me... it felt real. I can't tell the difference between what's real and what's not, okay? I mean, I don't even know if any of this is real! I don't even know that you're here.
Ramsay Street
Garrett and Zeke are returning home after footy practice and spot Katya leaning over her bike in the middle of the street. The look of Katya's backside is enough to make Garrett lose all control over his thoughts and he agrees to let Zeke play the final game of the season before he heads off. Zeke tells Katya he's back on the team again and thanks her for her hard work. Since Ned has gone they decide to work on the bike riding together. Just as Katya's starting to get the hang of it (except for the stopping bit) Ned re-appears and makes the bike stop before she crashes. Katya tells him about Paul telling her that Ned was only interested in women who aren't available. Ned says he's really sick of hearing that so grabs Katya and kisses her right there in the middle of the street! He's really happy to prove Paul wrong, so wants to know if Katya's available.
Hospital corridor
Steph and Lyn are talking about Max and Lyn thinks the fact that it's taking longer for Steph to get to see him this time is a sign of progress. They talk about Dr Young and how she comes highly recommended and Steph wants to know where Lyn heard about her. When she finds out it's Paul's psychiatrist she's not very pleased, but Lyn says Paul just wants Max to have the best person available.
STEPH: I'm sorry Mum, but leopards can't change their spots.
LYN: Well, they can go looking for spots they forgot they had. No, really, come on, Paul is changing. I've got him looking after Oscar for me all day.
STEPH: (shocked) You've left Ozzie with Paul?
LYN: Well, he's more than capable.
STEPH: Mum, how much experience does that guy have with little kids? He wasn't even around to see his own kids grow up. And this is Ozzie we're talking about, you know, Ozzie! He runs you and I both off our feet and we've got two of them.
LYN: (laughs) Sure, he's probably got Oscar tied to a chair in front of the TV by now.
Steph tells her mother to go home and check on Ozzie and Lyn agrees on the condition that Steph calls her the minute she needs her.

Lyn comes home and is pleasantly surprised to find Paul and Ozzie on the sofa reading a pirate book wearing pirate hats and all. It turns out that the blokes had a great time spending the day together. Lyn thanks Paul for looking after Ozzie for the day and he says it's nothing, he enjoyed it. In fact he'll even take him up to bed because he wants to find out what happens next in the story they were reading! Lyn's not sure what to think. Aww.
Hospital room
Max asks Steph if she placed he bets she promised and she says she did, two out of three even came up trumps. He tells her how Dr Young told him he's suffering from PTSD and that she believes he can make a full recovery with intensive counselling and a lot of rest. Steph says it's fantastic and hugs him. Max seems very indifferent to it all though. Hmm.
STEPH: Together we can get through this.
MAX: Yeah.
STEPH: I love you so much...
MAX: Thanks.
Switch to HallucinationMode™.
STEPH: ...Even if you are stark, raving mad.
MAX: What did you say?
Switch back to NormalMode™.
STEPH: I love you so much.
Switch to HallucinationMode™ again.
STEPH: You're insane.
Back to NormalMode™ again.
Max gets off the bed and moves away from Steph who has no idea what's going on. He tells her to go away and when she doesn't listen he yells at her to get out at the top of his lungs.
Teresa's baby's parents' house
Carmella shows up at the home of the parents she sold her cousin's baby to. Looking in through the window she sees a baby crib and some other baby gear and when she spots someone in the house she rings the door bell. The lady of the house remembers her and wants to know what Carmella wants. More money, perhaps? No, Teresa's been a 'bit of a mess' since losing her baby and... She's interrupted by the mother who says it's had a big effect on all of them. Carmella asks if it would be possible for Teresa to get some sort of visitation rights, if not then she'll drag it through the courts until she does.
THE BABY'S NEW MOTHER: She can't...
CARMELLA: Listen, I don't want you to have to go through something like that. I swear, I want what's best for your baby.
THE BABY'S NEW MOTHER: Didn't your cousin get my letter? Our baby died, three months ago.
