Number 26
Bree's babbling on about her interview with 'Teen Scream' while Janae sits in a daze. Janelle arrives asking for details on Janae's big night out. Janae replies that the finger food was gross, the punch was warm and the music was lame. Janelle didn't want to know that though, she wants to know how it went with Ned. She says in her sombre mood that it was fine and after being prodded, that nothing happened. Bree tells her mum to not bother trying to get anything out of her, she's got a mood. And with that Bree's off to her interview, saying goodbye. With Bree gone Janelle asks Janae what's up with her. It's the fact that apparently Bree isn't her sister. Janelle's got an "oh dear" face.

Number 24
OMG Mishka is in the kitchen lighting up a cigarette with the gas cooktop lighter thingy and takes a big drag! She hears Lou outside and quickly puts it out and hides the butt behind the window's blind. Like that won't eventually be discovered! She sprays air freshener around and gets back to what she's cooking. Lou saunters in from his walk, telling Mishka it was being slapped in the face with a wet fish. Ewwy. She takes that seriously so Lou has to explain that it's an expression, smelling something in the air. Something like burning. She says that she's cooking for her 'bear' and something burnt. He tells her it doesn't matter, what she's making looks wonderful.

Sky and Dylan come out of Sky's room with various art things. He asks what they are going to do. It's going to be running away to Paris, drinking coffee out of bowls and soaking up the artistic vibe. He thinks that's cool but unfortunately she has to finish her canvas; putting it down on her stand as if to prove that fact. Sky's going to boot Dylan out but he doesn't think they've made up enough. She says they have and isn't it about time he saw his family? He couldn't care less as they walk to the door hand in hand cuteness. But she insists.

From the kitchen Mishka tells Sky that as woman she should be making him breakfast instead of giving orders like a mafia person. Sky says that in Australia men make their own breakfasts and women do what they want to do and she needs to start her canvas. Dylan decides he isn't going anywhere, he's going to be her muse. He'll just sit back, bring her cups of tea now and then and pat her on the back. Mishka can't believe he would want to sit at home all days while "woman gets the pig". Dylan informs her that in Oz women bring home the bacon too. Mishka can see why we're on the bottom of the world, with all the topsy turveyness around here. Lou agrees while getting stuck into his brekkie.

Number 26
Janae still looks shocked while Janelle, sitting with her, tries to explains that they only recently found out about it too. Janae realises what all the shopping sprees and special dinners are - it's to cover up their guilt. Janelle says they aren't trying to cover up anything they're trying to move on. Bree is their daughter and Janae's sister and that's that. Janae thinks that's just denial, it's not going to go away because they want it too. Janelle tries to blame all this discovery on the DNA test, that they wouldn't know but Janae says basically well you do! Janelle doesn't want Bree to ever find out because that's what best. Janae can't believe it, they're crazy. Janelle asks that what, she should tell Bree she's out of the will? At this moment Kim comes in and susses the situation and reads the letter. Janae turns to him asking if he wants to seriously keep it from her. Kim just keeps on with the Bree doesn't need to know, Janelle adding that Janae can't tell her. Janae understandably says they're mental and runs off. Sitting next to Janelle Kim tells that she's just shocked and for Janelle to try and understand how Janae feels. Janelle says why bother, he's the expert in the soft and fluffy club.

Number 24
Sky continues her canvas while Dylan answers the door. It's Connor, here about the shifty CamRob business. Problem is, he isn't shifty. Apart from the fact he slept in his car once nothing weird has gone on. Dylan insists that he must've done something but Connor's got nothing different in CamRob's routine except when he went to a hospital across town to visit... someone. He's totally clean, except for the fact he's dating Katya, Connor realising that Toadie won't like that. Connor offers his services for another week but Dylan gets out a heap of money from his deep pocket saying it's fine. Connor leaves, Sky reminding him that if he wants to throw his money around people in Africa need it more... Dylan says he isn't paranoid, CamRob is shifty.

General Store
Bree's doing her interview, talking about how she wanted to be a writer since she was a kid and that writing is never a chose for her, it's more of a compulsion.

BREE: It's like a highly contagious pathogen taking over her body cell by cell until I give in and start typing.

Nice image there! The interviewer, Bethany, thinks she sure does have a very vivid imagination. Bree says it's a necessity considering her family, they're insane in a good way. Janae walks in to stand nearby and watch while Bree tells the Bethany they were never well off so she got used to entertaining herself. Bethany asks if she had a tough upbringing. Bree back tracks say it's not like they went without, that the lean times probably brought them closer together. That they wouldn't have finished the first draft if it wasn't for her family's encouragement and support. Bree even points out a sad looking Janae, saying she might not look anything like it because of the dress but that's her sister. She adds that they are best friends. Poor, poor Janae and Bree.

Scarlet Bar
Boyd is setting up when Janae comes in wanting to talk. He interrupts noticing she's still in her dress so she hasn't slept yet, time must've slipped away while she was out with handsome Ned. Janae tries to tell him it has nothing to do with Ned but Boyd won't let her talk, saying he doesn't want to know. If she has a guilt conscious to ease it elsewhere. She rasies her voice, saying it isn't about Ned. Boyd thinks oh yeah she spent the whole night with him and it made her realise she wants to be with him? Well Janae can forget it; he isn't interested. All Janae wanted to do was talk to a friend. Boydy reminds him that he's the ex-boyfriend, she should go talk to Neddy.

JANAE (very tearfully): Do you think that I would've actually come here if I didn't really need someone to talk? Major stuff is going on for me right now and I thought I could count on you.

She walks to the door, turning around to say that she didn't touch Ned but maybe she should've. That makes Boyd think.

General Store
Bree's staring into her milkshake when Kim and Janelle run in looking for Janae. Bree has and she's not happy with her because while she was giving the interview Janae barged in. Janelle says that to matter what she said to Bree they still love her not matter what. Erm Bree only meant that she looked like an idiot standing there in a formal dress in the morning. She didn't say a word. Kim asks if she has any idea where Janae went (she hasn't) so they leave to try and find her.

Mishka and Lou arrive for a coffee. He agrees to coffee then leaving so she asks what's wrong? Nothing, coffee is fine. She knows her Lou Bear is lying though. He admits that he didn't actually sell this place like he told her, in fact he lost it in a bitter takeover. Mishka um looks a bit upset with this truth. Or sorry for him.

Number 24
While Sky paints bright colours onto her canvas Dylan's burning incense around her to try and create an arty atmosphere. He offers to give her a massage or play some music but she just wants some silence. Dylan thinks she needs some inspiration, ripping his shirt off phwoar! Nope she doesn't need that because she's in a artistic desert today. He asks if he's a bad muse, Sky replies he's more of a distraction. After a bit of smooching Dylan tries to get her to concentrate on her work by casting he remind back to the last good painting she ever did while massaging her head. Sky can't though. Dylan suggests she ring her new lecturer but Sky thinks there's no point, she's hopeless.

Mishka and Lou arrive home after their coffee, Mishka preaching on about Lou not letting this Paul scum get away with what he's done. With all the lying and cheating... Lou tells her it was war and he won. She asks if he is a man, he should fight flame with flame. He says it's not as simple as that so she should drop it.

Scarlet Bar
Poor lonely Connor is staring at his beer when Boyd comes over with his lunch. Connor wants to know Boyd's view of Cam. Boyd asks on the record or off (Connor wants on). Boyd says he's a nice enough bloke... now off... a bit of a try hard, always bringing in their rubbish bins. Boyd wants to know why, Connor says that it's for Toadie coz he scored Toadie's chick. Boyd now asks how the P.I business is going. It's going great, people around here are a lot nosier that Connor thought. Boyd thinks that ain't a big surprise.

Bree now barges in saying that Boyd is dead. She doesn't know what he did to upset Janae but if he does it again Boydy will regret it. He tells her she's not allowed in without adult supervision. Bree thinks that's a great excuse to run off and get Dylan, Stingers and her dad. Because they would be uber interested to know that he has broken Janae's heart again. Boyd says she hassled him, not the other way round. All Bree wants if for him to leave her alone. Boyd turns around to a trying to smile Connor.

Number 24
Sky's still trying to get her canvas done but she thinks it's hopeless. Dylan doesn't think it's hopeless, she's just blocked and maybe she should give J.P a call. She says she doesn't need to, she just has to find 'it' inside of her. Dylan acknowledges that when she spends time with him she paints better, and it's cool. He hands her the phone telling her to get his advice. And she should go back to his classes instead of staying with some no hoper, he can take it. Dylan lovers her, and he knows she loves him. He tries to pass over the phone again saying if she hurries she might even get her name on the door for his exhibition. She didn't realise he knew about it, and asks if he's sure. If she can look him in the eye and tell him he's still her number one muse he can hack it. She tells hhim he's not just her number one, he's her only one. Aww they kiss. She now thinks it would be a good time for him to go sort things out with his dad. He doesn't think there is anything to sort but there is, he hasn't been talking to him for a week! She doesn't want a whimpy muse... on that note he goes to sort things out.

Number 26
Janelle's on the phone to Suze telling her to let them know if they see Janae. Just as she ends the call they her Miss Janae herself arrive back from her walk. Janelle asks why she went because all they want to do is talk with her. Janae needed time to think. Kim tell her she did the right thing, Janelle adding it would only break Bree's heart and there is nothing to be gained from that.

JANAE: How do you do it? How do you just look her in the eye and lie to her? Because I can't. I can't even be around her.
KIM: Things won't change. She'll still be your sister.
JANAE: Oh what they already have changed! You can't cover this up from her forever.
JANELLE: Hey sweetheart you just have to calm down and think about what is best for her in the long run.
JANAE: Oh telling her the truth is what's best for her! She's going to find out sooner or later and if it's not from you then it'll be from somebody else. Her real family will get in contact with her or a doctor will tell her or... she'll work it out. She's got to hear it from you and if you don't tell her than I will.

Number 24
Sky's on the phone to J.P saying she'll see him tonight. Ooo. She ends the phone call as Lou walks in wanting to know what's wrong. Maybe he could get lunch, is she tired of looking after him? No according to her woman is suppose to look after man but only in the kitchen. He realises that it's about the General Store. Mishka can't support a man that puts his head on the chopping block. He's alreadt told her that Paul Scum has deeper pockets than he does so it's hopeless. Mishka thinks that means he should fight back harder. He's a strong man with stong pride, he must win back the business. Is she getting in his head with this? Err she is. He's decided that yes he will fight back! Mishka is very happy with this, he's cocky and proud like a "partok". Lou wants to get onto it right away and devise a plan to win back the General Store before Harold comes back from seeing Svetlanka. He tells her to sit back while he makes a pot of tea.

Mishka joins Sky in the lounge room, sitting on the sofa. While painting Sky says to her that she's glad someone has got Lou excited about life again. Mishka tells her that one cloud can eclipse the whole sun, she likes to see Lou shine. Sky likes that description, asking if after they're done plotting if Mishka would like to sit for a portrait. Mishka agrees, looking a bit stunned.

Number 26
Janae, now in a short skirt and pink tank top the boy'll love, comes into the kitchen where her mum is thinking. She's going to bring the washing in, Janelle offers to help but Janae tells her not to bother. Kim does what he's done a lot today, saunter into the kitchen to cheer up Janelle. He sits with her and gives her a big bear hug saying they have to tell Bree.

Scarlet Bar
For some reason Connor is telling Boyd not to put him last, I think it's for a singing thing considering what's about to be said. Boyd calls Connor back over to him...

BOYD: Do you actually have any... you know... talent?
CONNOR: Huh?
BOYD: You know if you start doing Sinead O'Connor covers or bring out the tin whistle it's all over you know that?
CONNOR: Yeah I didn't hear that Boy-d.

Dylan arrives to talk to Boyd as Connor leaves. This seems to happen a lot! Boyd jumps to his defence saying Janae hassled him not the other way around. So no defending his family's honor and knocking his block off. Dylan doesn't get it, saying he only will if Boyd doesn't get him a beer. Kim arrives in time to order his as well. Boyd goes off to get their beers while Dylan and Kim sit down, Kim saying at least he should share a beer with his old man seeing as he's been avoiding him like the bird flu. Dylan says the maybe getting the 'I told you so' speech isn't high on his to do list.

Number 24
Sky's drawing Mishka. Mishka wants to know what sort of man Dylan is, is he sharp like wolf or strong like bear? Sky thinks he's a bit of both with pussycat throw in for good measure. Sky bets that Mishka has had some passionate loves in her life because she has a twinkle in her eye. Mishka take that literally, wiping her eye. Sky explains that it's an expression, she's had a bit of fun in her life or maybe a little secret. Yeah the smoking. Sky wants to know is Mishka has dated any spies or revolutionaries. Mishka tells her that Russia isn't like what we see on the TV or in movies, there are normal people around. Sky can tell she's lived though, she has a part and Sky likes it. Mishka tells her she will have a past one day too. Sky hopes so because right now she has nothing exciting to tell her grandkids. Ah but Mishka can see she wants a bit of drama in her life.. and she can see Sky has a twinkle in her eye too. Maybe it has something to do with this J.P? Sky says he's just her ex-art teacher and she hardly knows him. Ah but Mishka can see that she does want to know him, she wants some danger in her life. Not just play with pussycat. Oh those Russians!

Scarlet Bar
Janae's come to tell Kim that Bree's home from her interviews. Dylan offers to pay for the drinks but Kim will, giving him extra suggesting he and Stingers go see a movie. As they leave (Kim asking how Janelle is) Boyd pulls Janae to the side to apologise for his behaviour. And even with him away she can still call to talk, or he might call her.

JANAE: Oh here's an idea, call someone who cares.

Mishka and Lou take a table, Mishka telling Lou about how she has many competitors but she wins every time. Now she has the best clothes shop in Moscow. He tells her he isn't new to a commercial fight himself. She thinks they make a good team and it's great to see him smile. She touches his face but he's uncomfortable with that I think, going to get some drinks.

Number 26
Bree's watching TV. When Janae and Kim arrive home Bree informs Janae that she spoke to Boyd and told him not to go near her again. Janae replies that Boyd is a selfish loser. Bree thinks that Janae is too good for him, and it might not mean much but Janae's still got her. Aww.

Kim and Janelle come in wanting Bree to turn off the TV. She doesn't want too though. Janelle sits down next to her and turns the TV off. Bree hopes this is important. Kim starts with the 'we love you very much' speech while Janae looks on from the doorway. He continues with the 'life sometimes doesn't always go the way you plan' stuff but Bree wants to get to it.

KIM: Bree, you're not... you're not our... you're not... aware of how proud we both are of your literacy success. That's it, we just wanted you to know.

He chickened out! Janae and Janelle can't believe he backed out, you can tell by the looks on their faces. Bree isn't happy they interrupted her TV program for that. The others congregate in the kitchen, Janae saying it's never going to be a good time to tell her.
