Recap
The General Store's money woes with the bank
Dylan's disbelief at Harold attempting to murder Paul...but being silently confirmed by Sky
Elle and Stu having a big pash and Ned ruining the moment
Number 30
Neddy looks very angry at witnessing his ex and brother engaged in some tonsil hockey. Isn't he a married man? Stu tries to say nothing happened but is not believed. Elle has her input in by stating Neddy dumped her and now he doesn't want her to have anyone else?! Parker #2 doesn't care and stalks off. Parker #1 runs after him and Elle immediately follows in hot pursuit.
Outside Stuey tries to further explain his actions but Elle also attemps to cut into their convo, but gets neatly brushed off. And a stomping off ensures. Stu explains he was messed up about the Sindi situation. They were both depressed, but only talked the entire night. Mostly about Neddy... who actually doesn't care about any of this. He brushes it off as Stu moving in on his ex, again, to show how better he is.
NED: Do you think I'm an idiot?
...
A "get over it" from ShirtlessStu encourages his brother to crash tackle him and the two engage in some a good old sibling tussle.
Ramsay Street
Janae is about to have a swim in Number 30's pool (Toadie said they could as long he wasn't home) but first spots Elle sitting alone. Elle must have a pretty shocking memory because she is all "Dylan's little sister right?" - well no, they actually have met before! Mmm. Anywho, Elle notices she is about to have a swim in Number 30's pool but she can't!!!! As the Parker brothers are currently pulling each other's hair out. This news excites Janae who couldn't think of anything HOTTER than those two guys fighting over Elle, and wants to go watch, er, help her sort out this mess.
The General Store
LOU: And it's goodnight from me...
HAROLD: And it's goodnight from him!
(both chuckle)
LOU: Ahh they don't make them like the two Ronnie's anymore do they? Two wonderful old guys who became household names for their sheer intellect and witt. Hey, does that remind you of anyone?
HAROLD: We're hardly household names...when everyone's forgotten us.
Lou doesn't think so yet however, things could still look up! At that very moment, Syd the milk-man walks in. Harold immediately apologises for not paying their bill, and knows they are way over their due date. Lou tries to make excuses, but Harry admits that the bank's approval for their overdraft is not final...if he's here to take back his stock, he should just do it. When he's gone, he explains to Lou the many years in dealing with Syd and can't lie now.
Nevermind...there are other ways to "skin a cat" - though bad choice of words as this brings back a bad flashback for Lou. Actually, they could ask Angie to help them out. Her mates who have cows. He rushes out to get the milk!
Next Sky arrives, frustrated that no one is in the store despite her handing out pamphlets for hours. She also has some bad news for Harry...Paul told Dylan. Everything.
Number 30 Yard
Where's the popcorn? Janae is probably wondering, as the girls watch the brothers tussle. Stu once again explains he was messed up over Sindi. She wants a divorce so she can make a clean break and start over. He signed the forms last night. Neddy lets go. Stu was just down and need ANYBODY. He and Elle just talked, and they just kissed this morning. It really meant nothing. Nada.
JANAE: You loser!
Stu wants to explain, but Elle doesn't care. She heard enough.
Number 26
Quite concerned for Elle's emotional welfare, Janae plonks down the coffee pot and asks her to spill everything. Men, love, life! Elle is simply frustrated at how emotional stunted men are. Janae agrees wholeheartedly and starts spouting her own love life woes.
ELLE: Excuse me, who is having the crisis here?
JANAE: We both are. (Elle raises her eyebrow) ... We'll just stick to yours then.
Janae calls Stu a big fat loser user, and thinks Elle must really love him to hold so much anger. Elle corrects her - it's Ned she loves. Stu? No Ned! Ahh, so Elle was also using his brother to make Neddy jealous? She used him too.
Scarlet Bar
Paul and Dylan go over budgets for the café. The boss is not so happy Dylan is over 20%. Whilst it is okay in these special circumstances, Dylan must be aware. Although it doesn't look like Dylan is aware of much today. Paul finally asks what happened between him and Sky. He guesses Sky fesses up and wonders what Dylan will do now? Sky isn't any good for him.
DYLAN: So you're saying that Izzy's never lied to you?
PAUL: No. Not on the big things. On the things that are truly important to our relationship, she is the most honest woman that I have ever met. So there you go, Izzy is more honest than Sky. Puts things in stark relief doesn't it?
Hmmmm. Okay then. Dylan leaves to go to work.
Scarlet Bar Office
Izzy is busy checking her ErinsMail when she opens up a very interesting email from a "Concerned Friend"...
That was quite a show with Ned, Izzy.
I wonder if Paul's seen it yet?
If not, he will soon.
She opens up the video attachment and it is of her and Ned fooling about in the bar office. Uh oh...
Scarlet Bar Office
Izzy spots Paul about to check his email on his laptop. She carefully totters over and accidentally-on-purpose spills a coffee all over the computer. Oopsie daisie.
Lucinda's
Sky tries to make plans with Dylan but each time she is brushed off. She apologises and swears it was so hard to keep this from him. It practically drover her crazy. Dylan plain and simply puts she lied to him, several times. She knows...so what can she do? Dylan simply replies he has work.
Number 26
Janae is busy gossiping on the phone and quickly puts the phone out to eavesdrop on Elle and Stu.
Elle is upset that they spent the entire night genuinely bonding and he brushed it off as being nothing. Stu apologises, as he didn't mean it that way and deep down, she knows it was wrong. He also spots Janae holding out her phone and grabs it. She points out she does live here...but reluctantly gives them some "privacy" (read: she goes behind a door to eavesdrop through that)
Stu doesn't know what he feels at the moment because he just lost his wife. He isn't sure how he will get through this, but knows they shouldn't have kissed because of Ned. Elle pouts, that Ned doesn't deserve to be happy. Surprised, Stu says she is still in love with Neddy? So she was just also using him too? Elle glares.
Lucinda's
Paul grabs Elle's laptop and sets it up. A woman walks in and tells Dylan that Sky loves him. Eh? She also grabs a business card on her way out.
Dylan mentions it was the 27th, and Paul wants Sky to cut it out. Cut out what you ask? We hear Sky on the radio taking requests for people's songs...however, she will only grant them should you go into Lucinda's and tell Dylan (the spunky one) that she loves him and grab a menu or business card on the way out. Paul asks Dylan to shut it off, as it's bad for business. Bringing in people who don't buy. He once again states she is more trouble, and he should give her the flick.
Paul turns on Elle's computer, but requires the battery charger...
Number 30
Izzy angrily asks why Ned is playing these games. What does he want? Ahh, Neddy wants her, doh! Well then, if you didn't send the video of us fooling about, than who did?! Neddy is as shocked as her, and can't believe someone would do that. He asks about security cameras, and maybe someone got their hands on it. She guesses Max must have installed them, but he hasn't mentioned anything yet. She is just freaking out because the person emailed Paul as well. He hasn't seen it yet, but she needs to get rid of it. Before he gets...violent. She doesn't care about that right now, who the hell is doing this?!
Number 30
Neddy wants her to stay but Izzy has to stop Paul getting the email right now. Stu arrives and she makes some small talk before literally running off.
Stu tries to talk with his brother about what happened again. He was up half the night, and just messed up. Ned seems to get it. Think he is too distracted with Izzy now anyway. Stu senses this and wants to know the deal? Is something going on? Nah, he is totally over her now. Stu nods, as Izzy would totally walk over him.
The General Store
Harold finishes talking to the bank on the phone and it doesn't look like good news.
Lou carts in some milk! And not in buckets, but by actual cartons. He "borrowed" it from Lucinda's. Harry sighs, he has made Lou steal milk! Lou shakes his head, they will bounce back at the appropriate time. Only if the bank gave them an extension... Lou doesn't care, they will do whatever it takes. They won't give up!
Lucinda's
Elle and Janae feast on food. Mmm. Janae muses they should hang out more often. She'll introduce her to Boyd (ah, she has met him), who is at uni so their friends are heaps older. Like her!
Dylan is off, and Paul wants him to "talk" with Sky.
Izzy arrives in record time to see Paul checking his email. She offers another coffee, and Paul agrees. Before adding..."tart". (Hehe, flashback to Karl and Tart scene), he wants a lime tart! She nods and walks off, and then accidentally-on-purpose trips on the cable and knocks the laptop off the table. Fortunately for Paul, it still works! Looking like she might scream out LOOK AT THE PINK ELEPHANT!, Izzy spots Janae taking off and yells she didn't pay the bill. Terrified, Janae shakes her head that Elle said she could put it on Dylan's tab. Her and Paul go outside to investigate. With glee, Izzy races over to delete the email from his inbox from the "Concerned Friend".
The General Store
Sky happily asks Harold and Lou if they heard her radio show, which of course they did. They also heard the Lucinda thing. As did Dylan, who appears behind her. Harold quickly asks if Dylan got their milk order ok. They did, although it was late.
He and Sky talk about her little prank. He isn't impressed. As a manager, it made him look bad! She just wanted his attention, it was harmless. Dylan doesn't care, she always wants attention! Sky explains she was protecting her grandad, her family! Surely he understands. She wants to know if they are at peace but he doesn't know and walks out.
Scarlet Bar Office
Izzy converses to Concerned Friend.
CONCERNED FRIEND: I hope Paul liked his video
IZZY: Who are you
CONCERNED FRIEND: Someone who's watching you. Enjoy the ride, it's not over.
