No. 22
Paul wants to know what Izzy thinks of Elle (just as the lady herself comes down the stairs to earwig) and hears Izzy reply that she likes her and describe her as being just like Paul, because she knows what she wants. Izzy gives Paul the news that Elle is planning on staying indefinitely, which is news to him but he is happy to go along with it given the shock of her turning. He assures her that nothing will change now Elle has arrived and reassures her that he isn't kicking her out either, describing themselves as "together forever". Elle doesn't look happy.
Bounce
Toadie finishes sprucing up the shop because he's sent Serena out to buy the coffees (perks of being the senior partner) when Elle stops by to buy a pair of earrings. Ned asks if they are for her but she replies it is for a close friend. Toad, in a round about way, apologises to her for slagging her dad off the previous night and doesn't take any payment for the earrings as a thank you for her hospitality before asking what is she doing tonight! Elle doesn't answer but as she browses the shop, she pinches Ned's bum and looks suggestively at him.
The General Store
David and Lil are arguing over supporting Serena (or not) in her new ventures and her move into the HoT compared to getting an education. David tells Lil Serena will do these things whether they like it or not and he is just helping her avoid some pitfalls. Lil's thinks they should be presenting a united front but David's take on things is that might just drive Serena away completely before paying Lil the ultimate non-compliment by suggesting she is tuning into Svetlanka! Resisting the temptation not hit him for suggesting that, she explains to David that as much as she misses Serena, she just can't support her especially as she thinks Serena is making a huge mistake. David reminds her that if she keeps this up then she is putting at risk her relationship with her daughter.

Paul shouts on Elle to come down for lunch, and when she does, she hands Izzy a present that she meant to give her earlier - the earrings she got from Bounce but tells Izzy that they came from a shop back home - in the hope that they can be really good friends. Paul thinks it is a lovely gesture from Elle as Izzy tries them on.
Ned decides to pay them a visit to see if Paul wants any more work done and spots the earrings Izzy has on. Izzy says that Elle bought them for her and he adds that they were purchased from Bounce! Izzy plays it cool though and Ned departs (Izzy will pass on the request about work) just as Elle comes back in. She decides to keep quiet about the info Ned has just told her, instead telling Elle that she is sad she wasn't able to buy her a gift in advance of her coming from her favourite shop (Bounce) that happen to sell great jewellery! Izzy then warns Elle that if she is staying then she mustn't go biting off more than she can chew. Paul comes back in to find out what they have been chatting about and Elle runs off crying leaving Paul bemused.
No. 22
After the conveniently placed commercial break, he tells Izzy that who cares where Elle bought the earrings from but Izzy comments that there was no need to lie about it. Paul wants to know what Izzy said given that Elle run out in tears but she says that she just did! Izzy offers Paul a reason why she lied - that Elle had no idea who Izzy was and was embarrassed and therefore bought the pressie to do the right thing but just went about it the wrong way. Paul agrees with this and goes onto explain that Elle is just trying to impress him before confessing that he's been a parent for one day and is struggling.
Scarlet Bar
As he clears away her dishes, Max asks Lil if she is looking forward to the soirée at Bounce, to which she feigns interest. Max thinks it is going to be a great opportunity for Serena and wishes he'd had the same chance at her age before adding that he thinks she will do well. Lil just thinks she is stubborn but Max points out that is a good thing to have for running a business. He asks Lil to pass on his apologies as he can't make it but she tells him that she isn't either as she can't give the venture her blessing.

Ned comes back with some ice for the party as Serena sits in the kitchen with a face like she's having to endure a wet weekend in Blackpool because Connor isn't there, although Toadie assures her he'll be back because he doesn't like to miss a party. David and Harold appear and Toadie drags Ned off outside. David asks how her first day went; it was okay she replies before asking if Lil has come with him. He replies with a sad "no" before deciding to follow Harold outside to get some drinks. She goes to head into the lobby and runs into Lil who looks like she was trying to escape before being seen. They head into the kitchen and Lil gives Serena a ring that has been in the family for ages and they repair the mother/daughter bond.

Max calls round and Izzy invites him in, offering him a coffee. He asks how things are going considering everything that has happened of late and she replies that she is slowly getting there, which Max is pleased to hear. Max then asks how things are going living with Paul and is it love, for which she is a bit coy with the answer. They then go on to talk about Elle and Izzy tells him that she's playing mind games on her already but she has taken care of it. Max tells her Elle is only a kid, to which Izzy adds who needs to grow up, so he suggests that Elle is vulnerable meeting not just her dad but her dad's girlfriend too before telling Izzy to rise above it given she is the adult and will only be a threat to her if Izzy lets her.
No. 30
Lil wants to go and join the others outside but Serena doesn't want to and lucky too as David and Harold come back in wondering if it is safe to do so. He can see it is and Harold comments that it is a good party outside, so Serena now decides she wants to go outside too (make your mind up woman!) But before she gets outside, Connor arrives home and she wants to know if everything is okay. Connor replies no, then goes onto explain that Maddie has an ear disease which is going to require a $50,000 major operation and if he doesn't come up with the money soon it means 6 months of pain for the little mite.
Lassiters penthouse suite
Paul knocks on the door and Elle lets him in and he notices that she is still upset. Elle wants to know why Izzy had a go at her when she was just doing something nice for her. Paul explains that Izzy didn't mean to and asks why she lied over where the earrings came from. Elle replies that she wanted it to sound more exotic and adds that if she knew it was going to cause trouble, and then she wouldn't have bought Izzy anything in the first place. Paul then explains that Izzy didn't mean to upset her and was grateful to receive them; he also adds that it was a lovely gesture. Elle announces that she is going to pack up her things and go because it was stupid to think she could be part of her dad's life. Being honest with her, he explains that her arrival did throw him but now she is here, he wants her to stay. Elle agrees as long as he is sure and to confirm this, he tells he that she has given him a second chance by coming to town and doesn't want to lose her again. They hug but you can tell from the face Elle pulls that it is all a game or part of her scheme of things.

The party atmosphere has now gone as they wonder how to get the money for Maddie's operation. Serena suggests the trust fund money until Toadie confesses he's used it to pay the bills. Stu suggests the bank until Connor points out he's mortgaged up to the hilt, so Lil then suggests selling it onto Toadie and Stu but it is a no for that one too as they are both skint. Harold's suggestion is Paul given he paid for Stu's op but Lil rules that one out, as nobody needs buttering up anymore.
Ramsay Street
Ned quickly finishes his phonecall as Stu comes out quite glad to get away from the discussions inside. He thanks his bro for coming down and since he is feeling much better now Ned can go home. Charming! Ned says he is happy to hang around and that he wants to live in Erinsborough permanently the only snag being, he doesn't know how to tell their parents.
Scarlet Bar
Paul and Elle have a drink and talk about his stop-start relationship with Izzy, which he is glad is back on firmly back on track. Elle hopes her being around isn't going to cause a problem and he confirms that it isn't an issue at all but she explains that Izzy is uncomfortable with her being around. Paul says that is because Izzy has had a rough trot lately and is just getting back on her feet properly. Elle asks if that was because Izzy had a breakdown and he replies no before eventually telling Elle about Izzy and the tablets.
No. 22
Paul and Elle eventually find their way home after catching up and Elle apologises to Izzy about the earrings and they agree to start a fresh. Paul departs to make up a bed for Elle and she gives Izzy the edited highlights of her conversation with her dad and subtly hints at knowing about Izzy's addiction too before telling Izzy that she is there for her if she needs it. Elle goes to check on Paul's progress with the bed and Izzy goes through to the dining area. After raking behind some bottles, she finds a bottle of tablets but resists the temptation to have some, hiding the bottle again.
No. 30
Lil, David and Harold say their farewells and Connor gives Serena a present - a necklace. In the kitchen, Stu wants to know exactly how long Ned is planning on staying and asking what happened to the dream of running the family farm. Ned replies that if Stu changed his mind then he is allowed to too because he likes it in Erinsborough. Stu asks him to reconsider because going back to Oakey is the right thing to do.

Paul comes back down to the living room commenting on Elle being settled in her room when he notices Izzy packing her bags and naturally wants to know what is going on. Izzy replies "his daughter" and demands to know what he told her because Elle knows everything about her including the pills (Elle has crept downstairs and is listening in). Paul denies telling Elle anything and shouts at her to calm down, accusing her of erupting over nothing. Izzy tells him that she isn't interested in playing games with a child. Paul tells her Elle likes her and that they'll get along fine if Izzy lets her. Izzy suggests that Elle can't handle the fact that she is with her dad instead of someone else and if Elle wants to spend more time with him then she can. She then picks up her suitcase and leaves the house much to Paul's annoyance but to Elle's glee.
